"The best developer friendly text editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Actually, the originality of the Visual Studio Code seems to be a basic text editor. But a lot of people won't agree with me if I say it's just a text editor as it got almost all the necessary features for a fully-fledged IDE. So the best part is the extension here. These extensions store help Visual Studio Code to be the game-changer for developers who works with many technologies. Because it's easy to work using the same IDE for different technologies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Even though Visual Studio Code got very nice extension sets for all the stacks, curtain technology stacks still require a more optimized IDE. for example it's really difficult to work with the .NET applications using Visual Studio Code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code: Best code editor for software development"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The best part about this software is that it supports writing code across multiple languages like C++, Python, JavaScript altogether. It has many extensions and is highly customizable. I can install IntelliSense for various languages, which can ease my work up to a great extent. Also, the themes are perfect, which makes my job enjoyable. The updates are also frequent, which improves the performance every single time. It also has integrated Git, which enables me to control the version of my project right from the application itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Although I did not find any significant issue in Visual Studio Code, but sometimes it happens that the editor fails to recognize errors in my code. The UI is powerful yet confusing for many first-time users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
