**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago G. | internal risk and business control , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Nowadays, there is an extremely large competition in the digital industry, because every day it is important to apply changes to each of the processes used in each business , especially in certain sectors that are badly needed, but in our organization we have started to introduce an excellent quality product that allows us to get the most out of it so that we can claim that we can squeeze all the functions out of it.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

This software has such good features that it lets you have better user experience, and best of all this software can be found all the knowledge you need on the web, besides all of this, you do not have to be an expert in Excel because it is simple to use, so since we started to implement it, we have found no disappointment in this product, but also.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

In many occasions, we make contact with our colleagues to suggest that you use this product as it can promote many processes, just as it did in our organization. So every time we can recommend it, that's why it's one of the best items we've used in our company for a long time to enhance all our processes.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By the way, we were able to develop many of the features to make the templates to our monthly reports that are of great importance to our company, because by doing so we can follow up the required items, in addition to that we can use the templates in various ways, with vein we feel comfortable from the very start.

  ### 14. Worth the investment for intuitive financial planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank U. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena is Excel-based, which is helpful for just about anyone in FP&A. The level of complexity in the instance really depends on the goals & skill set of the FP&A team in question, and the investment in time a group is willing to train on the software. The complexity can come from writing calc scripts in Vena, creating links to external data sources, or just utilizing Excel formulas.

It's also very flexible; one can write static reports that can be manually changed as needed if standard formats are required, or more dynamic reports that can automatically detect changes in account mapping, which is a big time saver for a businesses that needs to add revenue or expense accounts.

Vena has obviously been working on automating connections with external data sources like Salesforce, which expands its usefulness. After the initial setup, this can be a big time saver, but the setup can take considerable time.

The sense of community has been good for us, as we joined a local area meetup to get ideas on what other FP&A teams were using the software for and found we could be using it better on our own team. We also attended the annual user conference which was fun and very educational.

The support staff is always helpful & responsive, and the account manager & coach we've worked with have been helpful.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

There are few downsides, but here are a couple:

- for me, the "year: attribute" function can be tricky - when straddling fiscal years in terms of loading data (say you're closing FY20 but have FY21 open at the same time), I've been burned loading data to the incorrect fiscal year, and have had to go back and zero out an entire period's worth of data, re-load, change the year attribute to be correct, and then load the data correctly. This is user error, of course, but I wish Vena had a way to grab the date of transaction and automatically flag the load or provide some type of warning, or at least provide an "undo" feature to go back to the prior dataset.

- there are several different ways to do things, which is actually a huge positive, but it also can cause some issues when researching in the knowledge base. Some of the solutions seem like they could be handled in a simpler fashion but require the use of calc scripts, etc.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business is highly transactional, which means we have lots of data and need to look at it in various ways from an operational standpoint. We are just now getting to a point of using statistical accounts to load prior year data and current data so we can start to trend operational metrics. We are also loading bookings data from salesforce using a data connector which will be very useful. Beyond that, the use of multi-dynamic mapping should simplify our tying-out process after loading final values each month/quarter/year between Vena and our in-house accounting system.

All of this has and will continue to save time for our small FP&A team. Eventually, we'd like to get to a place where our business partners/VPs can use Vena as well to further streamline our budgeting process.

  ### 15. Implement with confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Overall, this is an analyst's dream. Ease of use hands down. The learning curve because it is excel based is minimal. The task binding to control privacy, choose function to quickly go between members, and the most important tool - the audit function for obvious reasons. I wish I would have had this available earlier in my career.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Dashboarding feature within Vena is still a work in progress, but because this is excel based, you can create your own or use power bi's free version. Report books emailing to other people needs work. Cannot email PDF or multiple sheets within one email.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

There is a running joke in BI communities. “What is the most used feature in any business intelligence solution?” It is the Export to Excel button. If you love Excel, you'll love Vena Solutions.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The audit function alone save's time and heart ache. The ability to go back and see who, what, when, and then question the person as to the reason why is a feature every manager needs. The workflow status tracker allows the manager to understand where everyone is in the process with ease. Cross department communication silo's have been broken speeding up tasks without the fear of "is this an older version, is this a typo, etc."

  ### 16. Great product with unlimited potential.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra H. | Director Of Information Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

The ability to be able to use Excel to save information into a central repository. It's a god-send for us to be able to do this. We manage 63 + properties and trying to centralize their budge information for use in AM reporting has been a challenge. We have also been able to use this to do our weekly lease reporting.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

The workflows are very frustrating to create and cannot be easily updated. The member updates are very tedious. You have to use an import or spend a lot of time working through assignments and shares. We need more options to create connections with external data. Some of the knowledge base articles need updating and should be more expansive. The examples are so simplified, that anything with a complicated setup can never be covered.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

There should be several people dedicated to the setup and rollout of the process. Make sure that you really invest in training those individuals and that you do not forget to train people in how to write reports.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Information stored in worksheets that need to be in a repository for easy extraction and analysis. Centralization and creating workflows around business processes. Having our leasing records centralized and combined with Azure real-time data has made us a more efficient organization.

  ### 17. Vena - Easy to use and understand

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Vena?**

The ease of use is Vena's best feature. Reports are details enough and movement between report is fairly easy. Updating report and upload feature, drilling between report are some of the best features.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

The only thing I don't like is time different between report. There is a time lag of 12 hours between 2 version history which some times irritate me.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am managing my financial analysis, profitability, variances and results through vena. So far vena has been upto the mark wherein I was able to derive results and forecasts.

  ### 18. Great tool for forecasts and budget

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radu C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena is a powerful tool for developing and sharing forecasts and budgets. This application has allowed me to create powerful agile input templates for the end users to enter their forecast or budget projections. Vena makes the consolidation of this data easy: the consolidated data is displayed in reports and is easily refreshed with the push of a button.

The fact that Vena relies on Excel makes the learning curve less steep for some users. The entire setup process can be done internally as opposed to relying on second party consultants. Reports and input forms are built in Excel and while there is some learning required to master the mapping and data querying processes, it is fairly easy to comprehend.

Setting up and maintaining data cubes is intuitive and quick. Data hierarchies and dimensions can be either set up through the web interface (drag and drop type), mass upload via CSV file, or a combination of both techniques.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Vena relies heavily on Excel and therefore a robust knowledge of this tool is required to fully leverage the application's capabilities. Mistakes can easily be made if some users are unclear as to how the mapping process works. I wish there would be more control features in place to limit the type of input that some group of users can make.

The permissions setup process is a little too complex, with different overlapping layers of permissions. Setting up users can be challenging at first.

The mapping process in Excel can be time consuming for large report files. Each intersection cell needs to be mapped and although several cells can be mapped simultaneously, the process is still slower than querying data via Excel formula (as some applications allow). Mapping cells is done solely through a pop-up window in Excel and mapping cannot be copied through the standard Excel copy-paste feature. Also, mapping can become extremely slow on larger files (40+ sheets), with the Vena pop-up window taking as long as one minute to appear in these cases.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Be clear on your goals from the start then evaluate Vena on each of those points.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vena helps us tackle the challenge of consolidating data from different user groups. We no longer have to maintain different copies on local computers or shared drives. Instead, we can all work on the same files simultaneously and the data entered is automatically consolidated in the Vena cloud database. Consolidation of user input was a challenge across an organization of our size. With Vena, we can simply hit the refresh button, and all data populates the fields which are mapped.

  ### 19. Sr Director of FP&A

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garvin C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

-Integration with Excel
-Robust CPM and reporting solution
-Great training program
-Excellent Professional Services

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

-Loading data from Vena to Excel sheets could take time
-Some Excel templates and reports could get complicated very quickly

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Consider how you plan to use Excel with your CPM tool. Vena uses excel as the platform 100% for reporting, templates, data entry, etc. If you're trying to "get out of excel", then other tools could be better options.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Automated reporting
-Systematic budgeting and planning
-Easier access to storing/accessing data
-Single version of the truth
-Easier scenario planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena has been such a positive in our world! After an exhaustive search, we decided that Vena was the system for ACME for financial reporting needs.

Within the first week of using the system we had 3 years of information loaded, consolidations performed and financial statements written.

The initial training was fantastic (we were lucky enough to get a good partner who gave me one-on-one training) so I was in control of the education. I realize that not everyone can get this kind of customized training, but it was worth it. I "drove" the process and the consultant corrected and helped me along during the process.

After we were on our own, we extended the processes to include budgeting and forecasting which has made analysis so quick and useful during changing times.

We are working with our ERP to get auto-transmission of data into the system but until we are able to get that working, we can mimic this process by manually loading the transactions from our system(s) so month end analysis on the detailed transactions are available on a consolidated basis. This has proved beneficial to parce out actual detail and give the responsible parties for analysis. Once we finally have an auto feed it will be a seamless process to any end user (only quicker).

Because Vena is more than a financial reporting software we are currently starting to use it for other database information. Tracking our PPE inventory, looking at metrics and historical information. Currently, we're running this information in excel and it's so much that it's bogging down our spreadsheets. Having refresh-able information at our fingertips is easing the stress.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Very little to dislike! I would like to see expanded training on the training website for more than the basics. (Calc's, setting up process flows, etc.) Since they've been adding new things quite often, i'm sure it's in the queue to be done.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Don't hesitate to look at Vena. For any excel users, this is a welcomed software addition.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidation of information. 1 place to look at the data instead of multiple systems (we have multiple ERP's here.) Achieving quality financial statements quickly has been our #1 benefit.

  ### 31. Streamlines Reporting and Budgeting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

I love how easy it is to create customized data pulls for specific, unique requests.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

There needs to be a drag and drop feature for selecting multiple items implemented within Vena online. The online modeler function is too limited.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Great for people who love the interface of excel. That was our selling point.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying monthly reporting and we can now easily create budgets with multiple people and not worry about data integrity

  ### 32. Vena has helped us immensely with our frequent forecasting and scenario analysis!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanka W. | Manager, Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

The most helpful thing about vena is data integrity and ability use existing data for array of various requirements such as budgeting, forecasting and other ad-hoc analysis in a relatively shorter time frame.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

The downside is that it would take time to learn the program and how to use it.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

It is important to gather, plan and design financial models and templates thoroughly.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We would be able to shorten the time it takes to do our forecasting and cut down the budget cycle immensely. Also, we have developed and utomated various graphs and reports that can be used in our annual and quarterly reporting package.

  ### 33. Time saver and keeps data organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernadett P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Integration with Excel and flexibility of system. Control of data and ease of use of admin features. I like the interface and easy mapping. Also, i like that Vena keeps evolving and adding new features and new tools over time.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Users can't write their own queries/reports. Had difficulties with data integration but the new integration tools make that easier.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

It's very flexible and excel interface makes user adoption higher.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Budgeting and Forecasting and integrating data from multiple channels. It's fairly easy set up. We also do HR planning that was really painful in the old excel way. It has been helping getting the data instantly.

  ### 34. Vena Budgeting Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

I like how Vena integrates into excel so there is a very little learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

I have had issues with saving the data/template which meant I lost a lot of work.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

N/a

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Annual budgets primarily - Vena is helping me learn a lot about our chart of accounts and how actuals flow into various budgets. I like how Vena pulls in live data from our Oracle database.

  ### 35. Vena is an excellent FP&A Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena is an excellent product for a more sophisticated management of Excel workbooks and financial data

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

The user speed of normal Microsoft products and other software is the norm, and Vena's technology is not quite at the same speed that efficient Excel superusers are used to. Vena could also improved in the documentation of its product.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Consider the knowledge and skillset of potential users - what kind of training do you need to implement? The transition is the most difficult part.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidation of scattered data, standardization, report generation are just a few of the benefits.

  ### 36. Vena connects all people on a business level

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena solutions is a platform that allows you to connect people, systems and data to enhance business planning, it has a fast learning Excel interface and it perfectly integrates all the tools in addition to having an unparalleled spreadsheet platform that integrates external data sources in real time, it is also shown as a program that actively seeks to improve your project management skills, business performance management and financial reporting. Vena integrates very innovative budget management tools such as "what if" scenarios, Balance Sheet, Asset Planning and Profit from Loss just to mention a few.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

With Vena solutions it can take time to make templates that have a certain degree of difficulty, the automation of the generation of reports could need an update that enhances its operation, to go a little deeper into the different options of customization of the platform can be complicated and support is needed at a given time with this program users will need to make certain tests within the platform so that then the work runs more smoothly.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

I would highly recommend Vena solutions for companies that handle a large amount of budgets and need to effectively manage their finances in addition to the fact that a large number of people are familiar with Excel platforms, companies that have small budgets may not make extensive use of the platform but Vena solutions is excellent for giving conferences or workshops to personnel that want to dedicate themselves to financial management.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Within my company there is no budget management tool from Vena solutions that we do not use for financial forecasting due to its flexibility we can configure a large amount of forecast reports using the templates which gives us a certain margin of time to create ad-hoc reports that allows us to make real time queries this has boosted our work pace much more.

  ### 37. Vena has helped us achieve a more efficient budget cycle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

I like that it is an Excel plug-in so it is easy for end users to pick up. You have the ability to develop reports pulling information through Vena and then add Excel functions and design features to make your reports look exactly how you want them. In our industry, we were able to not only use financial information but also demographic, consumer product choices among others.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

The development of the templates requires that you are very familiar with Excel functions if you want to take advantage of all features offered. It may require some help from your IT department to fully set up templates.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to find what divisions are profitable after applying overhead costs, develop a budget cycle for end users that we didn't have before.

  ### 38. Vena a game changing tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bart V. | Chief Financial Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

That it is built directly in excel. Can quickly create reports and use formulas in excel that we all already know how to use. Vena has improved out budgeting process and enhanced all aspects of FP&A. We currently have a small finance team and did not want to make more people investments at this time. Vena tools has eliminated the need for more people.

The adhoc feature was a great addition as it sped up the process of creating one off reports.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

The current mapping process can be a drag at times.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting reporting and budgeting done quickly. We now have the ability to quickly identify trends and put corrective actions in place.

  ### 39. Great flexible product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary R. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Ability to provide timely FP&A information as well as build complex budget with an automated process.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Lack of direct integration with other ERP solutions.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Take your time with implementation. Think through what is necessary and set up data models correctly, so you dont have to re-work and edit in the future.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real time budgeting and reporting of financial information to users that need it most. Still developing process and refining as needed. Biggest benefit is accountability and transparency.

  ### 40. Wonderful FP&A Solution for Growing Companies

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena's ability to spin different reports depending on our needs. One format of report can be used to view stat accounts by department or region, GL account by department or region as well as comparative data among different processes. I love. being able to create a new report on the fly which allows me to analyze and scrutinize the data in ways I never would have been able to do.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

The load time of some bigger templates. I know it is because of the amount of data and how many intersections need to be pulled up or saved but it would be so much easier if the load times were even half as long.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have grown and acquired multiple companies in the past year and have gone from "little company" to "big company" very fast. Vena has enabled us to seamlessly transition those acquired companies into our forecasting and has allowed us to quickly pull together reports with or without them depending on what the data is being used for.

  ### 41. Vena works great to for our use case of budgeting and reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

The ability to connect excel to a database

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Slow load times for larger spreadsheets. It gives a bad first impression to new users.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

If you use excel, but are struggling with all the traditional major problems, i.e. very complicated, error prone spreadsheets with multiple copies floating around, Vena will allow you to keep with you like in Excel, but remove those problems.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Budgeting and reporting.
We tried several budgeting solutions before Vena, and Vena allowed us to stay in excel, allowing the flexibility we needed, but to connect to a database, to simplify and reduce errors in our spreadsheets.

  ### 42. Excellent tool which leverages your existing knowledge of Excel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafay U. | Financial Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Allows you to use all excel functionalities with customized easy to use vena features

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Sometimes the data hierarchies could get complex, so it gets difficult to maintain them. But if the logic and reasonings are well documented it should not be an issue

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Excellent tool for organizing who want retain existing excellence spreadsheets and processes but add more data integrity workflow to their forecasting process

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Budgeting and forecasting. Easily dissect data and pull actual vs forecast data to prepare my analysis. Easy to collaborate with rest of the organization

  ### 43. Enhanced Budgeting and Forecasting Processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena has greatly improved our ability to plan at a very detailed level. We have much greater visibility on our planning and this has enabled much more detailed and thorough analysis of our financial performance.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Just like all planning systems you have to invest a lot of time upfront into setup but once you are running things go pretty smoothly.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Make the decision and start implementing!

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest challenges before Vena was aggregating detailed data into a consolidated whole. This issue is totally resolved now with the Vena platform.

  ### 44. A Vast Excel Canvas Limited Only By Your Imagination

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce H. | Director of Finance Applications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena provides an unlimited canvas on which to create operational solutions using Excel as the foundation. Vena extends Excel by adding a cloud-based, auditable, database to the Excel technology stack. If you have a concept you can dimensionalize and put a measure to, you can use Vena. Once dimensionalized, one of the key, brilliant, concepts in Vena is the creation of intersections. You can create any intersection of your dimensions to visualize your data, and that is where other applications fall short - having to live in a confined space. We are also able to connect Vena directly to our ERP, which has allowed us to create a multi-cube structure, increasing our operational and reporting efficiencies.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Nothing now that we dislike. Incredibly innovative application.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Budgeting and Forecasting. Account Reconciliation. SOX Compliance. Financial Close. Reporting. Disconnected Systems. Financial Data Aggregation and Analysis. Ad-hoc Analysis.

  ### 45. Vena is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pat J. | Director of Financial Reporting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena has been just what we need as it is adaptable to about anything with a team of implementers that keep you from over extending yourself.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

When you can do anything it’s hard to keep yourself from doing everything.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

Fully utilize the implementation team, the tool is great but the implementers are a huge resource at a very reasonable price

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vena implementation forced us to improve related business processes and saves us significant time every month.

  ### 46. Fantastic product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Vena has helped us simplify and streamline our budgeting and forecasting cycles, helping us provide more meaningful analysis.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Some of the complex templates that we have built still have some performance issues. Over the last two years we owned the product, Vena has improved quite a bit, and I understand more product enhancement is coming.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timely forecasting, data accuracy, workflow utilization

  ### 47. Manager, Accounting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Departments own their plans;
Process can be centralized

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

As a small finance team, building the model was not easy.

**Recommendations to others considering Vena:**

mapping data points can be time-consuming.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scales up as the company is growing. Excel budgeting no longer suits our needs. Vena provides us the solutions for a centralized budgeting, FP&A process.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing time for financial consolidations.

  ### 49. Highly intuitive product with friendly and helpful support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Vena?**

Familiar excel interface makes setting and maintaining reports easy. Web interface for managing processes is equally intuitive

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

Still relatively new to the matket so there is a lack of awareness in the industry and scarce online resources. This does appear to be changing as Vena rapidly gains traction

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining budgeting, forecasting, reporting. Significant time savings, much improved workflow and greater accuracy

  ### 50. A simple and thorough tool

Flexibility, easy to manipulate as I want and as I need.

**What do you dislike about Vena?**

So far, all goodies, didn't see any thing I don't like.

**What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our existing reporting uses a lot of queries which cause the system extremely slow and clunky. Vena make it much easier and neat.
