CCH Tagetik Reviews & Product Details

I like that CCH Tagetik is a very flexible and modern system. It provides excellent visibility through its ETL imports and workflows. I use the DTP feature, ETL elements, logs, audit hub, and drill-through capability a lot. The ETL elements allow me to construct ETL processes and make all the transformations visible. AuditHub is invaluable for seeing who made changes to certain data points, and the drill-through functionality provides specific insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like everything about CCH Tagetik, but I want to be able to build custom SQL objects in a SQL schema of Tagetik. Currently, I don't have that ability, or maybe I just don't know how to do that in the internal database. Additionally, the setup process has been challenging with a lot of back and forth and additional asks that were not initially designed. We are still in the implementation phase. I find the ability to manage customer contracts and handle the increasing demand with overrides somewhat lacking. It doesn't align well with the way our business currently operates. Also, the initial setup was quite time-consuming due to our unique business requirements, although the support we received was critical to help us transition smoothly. What I like best about CCH Tagetik is its strong integration of financial processes in one platform, which makes planning, consolidation, and reporting much more efficient. One aspect I find less favorable about CCH Tagetik is that some processes can feel quite complex and not always intuitive, especially for new users. Lots of community events to learn about new tools and functions. My team sits in on monthly calls with Terry Frederick where we discuss a new topic every month. We have also attended multiple in touch events. I think CCH Tagetik will solve how long it takes to consolidate data and how long I spend formatting data so that we can analyze it. I just think the ability for the AI tools to consolidate, look for patterns, and bring trends to my attention will be beneficial.
