"Great Features: Bitbucket offers very good features for version control. Some of the ones that stand out are the ability to grant permissions to different branches. It makes it very reliable from a security point of view. I also like its trello boards to collaborate with multiple members on the same project, as it makes organization very easy. Free of charge private repositories are always appreciated too. "

    GitLab review by Samuel G.
"the best to control and order my projects: GitLab makes creating and supporting a project very easy because from this first step it gives you instructions so that you can upload your project to the cloud correctly, as I move forward in the project I can add collaborators to work in a group no matter where they are located, I like it I can make comments and mention my colleagues to be informed of changes made before they start working, the function of being able to see the lines of code that were modified in case it shows an error when they are going to integrate the changes made It is very good because this way we avoid integrating errors that could create errors when making the presentation."

    Assembla review by Sergio P.
"I woudn't recommend Assembla for project management for software projects: I can't really think of anything I really like about assembla. It is complicated to use, has the basic features that are needed, but the end result is difficult to read. The editor doesn't provide much help. Changes are displayed together with relevant information in a way that makes reading a simple task complicated. It takes a long time to get used to the format, and even then, it takes too long to get the information that is relevant from a ticket."

"Best Pre-Commit review tool / workflow, but is a complicated: 1. Pre-Commit peer reviews ensures no unreviewed code can go in repository. The workflow mandates this without any human interventions. 2. 2-level gates i.e. both Peer review and Build status should be Green to proceed. 3. Can double up as a Git Repo Server as well 4. Fine grained access control 5. Open Source"

Setting up a new repository is pretty straight forward, managing access for our team and the occasional vendor or client who needs code access is easy as well. You get what you'd expect from a remote git repository service plus all of Beanstalk's features on top of that, at a decent price."

Veracode Application Security Platform review by Alex G.
"Great idea, mediocre execution, terrible customer support: The world needs something like Veracode. Cyberthreats are too complex and are changing too fast for average software developers to keep up with all the necessary expertise and techniques. Separating cybersecurity testing into a standalone, purpose-built service simply makes sense. I appreciate that Veracode is, at least in theory, attempting to be that platform."

    Gitcolony review by Shantonu M.
"Gitcolony and it's powerful features: The rich UI and few propelled components are exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. It permits the QA group to vote in favor of endorsement or dismissal of force solicitations. Also, remarking and making issues has turned out to be more smooth with this instrument set up. The best some portion of Gitcolony is that it makes a concentrated interface for various vaults and you can make a force demand for every one of them without a moment's delay."
