"Crucible Elevates Code Reviews and Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about Crucible?

I appreciate how Crucible simplifies the code review process and encourages collaboration through its clear commenting features, tracking capabilities, and integration with development tools. It really supports better code quality and enhances communication within the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crucible?

At times, Crucible can feel sluggish, and its interface appears somewhat outdated, which makes navigating and reviewing code less efficient than I would like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Advance Code Review Platform"
What do you like best about Crucible?

The crucible is one of the advanced code review platforms with some extra features that are not available in many other similar platforms for reviewing the code.

1) It shows a well-organized directory structure and highlights the changed files. It comes with small next and previous arrows to perform seamlessly back

and forward on the reviewed file. Turns a code review into a threaded discussion and comment on specific source lines, files.

2) Old commits can be cleaned up with just a single click.

3) Get a quick view of the review status. When multiple reviewers review the same code at the same time then it popups a kind of notification to let the

individual reviewer know about it even during normal internet connectivity. And also displays the percent(%) of the review done by individual reviewers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crucible?

It is the best platform. So far I haven't seen any negative points when it comes to its functionality.

But of course, I would suggest that it can be made more powerful by introducing AI/ML features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Crucible review"
What do you like best about Crucible?

Reviewing the codes through crucible is the best thing that I have used in my career. It shows the changes in version lines time and who did changes if needed, with comments as well. So I like the way it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crucible?

Tackling with too much changes is sometimes headache. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A fancy tool for code reviews back then, but not so unique anymore"
What do you like best about Crucible?

Back then when we introduced this tool, there weren't too many competitors in the domain. We loved the fact that all the review comments could now be seen in a system, linked to issues etc. Instead of maintaining then in notebooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crucible?

Over time, as Bitbucket, Github and others evolved, this tool did not remain unique anymore. You could basically do same stuff without using crucible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing code collaboration tool"
What do you like best about Crucible?

Crucible can be linked with any version control system (svc, git etc..). It allows collaborative reviews where a code review owner can add someone in a team as the moderator allowing the other person to act as owner on his behalf if needed. It provides a nice dashboard of users who added comments on the code allowing people to track comments individually per developer. The UI is great and pretty straightforward with all the files for a code branch showing up in the left sidebar and the files content/code showing up on the right. Any additional screenshots/files can be attached as evidence to the code review. The most notable feature which separates crucible from Github pull requests is the time tracking functionality. It starts tracking time from when the code review was marked as open and also as to how much time each user has put on looking at the code review. Another feature that is better than github's pull request is that even if a large number of files is present in a code review, the left sidebar has it's own scrolling pane which makes it easier to keep the context of files with the code presented in the right pane. For github pull requests, the user has to keep on scrolling which tends to get irritating. Another great feature of crucible is that code from multiple repositories/projects can be added to one code review.. again a feature which github pull request does not provide. What do you dislike about Crucible?

One thing I find irritating is that adding new files to the code review after the review has started resets everyone's code review progress. Ideally the behavior is correct since we want people to take look at the new changes but sometimes it gets irritating to ask people to re-review things when the changes are trivial. "Save time for code reviews"
What do you like best about Crucible?

As a project leader, need to conduct code reviews of peers frequently and Crucible is the time saver for this. Easy to add the changed files, add moderator and reviewer, crucible provides best in-class service for everything need to do as a part of code review process. The comment section is what I like the most which enable to differentiate the changes done to a particular line of code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crucible?

It will not automatically refresh the code once we commit the code in SVN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Crucible Review"
What do you like best about Crucible?

Crucible is one of the few code review tools that allow a hierarchical view of the project, similar to file explorer. It also allows manual select of files or even changes that you want to review. Bugs and issues found are seamlessly integrated into Jira. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crucible?

Polling is slow and inefficient. Still a bit buggy, sometimes it doesn't pick up the changes. Sloppy when dealing with large changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
