What do you like best about Speechmatics?

As a regional media monitoring firm with modest IT resources, we appreciate the relative ease of integrating Speechmatics into our broadcast monitoring workflow. Customer support is reliable and provides quick responses. The sales team have been amazing, too, helping us create a service plan that considers both our current business volume and supports our projected growth. And we like what we're seeing with regards to service enhancements and expansion. We hope to be able to take advantage of additional language capabilities soon. "Super Accurate with Impressive Support, Perfect for US Healthcare Domain"
What do you like best about Speechmatics?

I appreciate Speechmatics' super accuracy, particularly in the medical domain, which is vital for US healthcare documentation. The product adapts based on the domain due to its advanced language model. The SDK offers great support for Node.js, making integration seamless with effective WebSocket and event management functionalities. I value the enhanced accuracy and flexible pricing that allows selecting models fitting different budgets. The ability to add custom pronunciations further boosts accuracy. What do you dislike about Speechmatics?

It can improve on latencies. Currently, it's around sub one second latencies, but they can improve it further to somewhere around four hundred milliseconds. Because I feel Speechmatics is losing the game of voice agent for call centers due to high latency issue. In that particular voice AI agent solutions, the market leader is Deepgram with low latency solutions. But, We trust speechmatics can beat it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Speechmatics?

I like it because we use it a the transcription layer to our research tool. It has several languages integrated to it so whenever a user uploads a lecture that has English and French, the system can easily recognize it. Our main usage is the speech to text and its perfect. What do you like best about Speechmatics?

It has a very high yield on accuracy of transcriptions - much better than any other offering we have reviewed. It offers this yield for English and foreign language voice recordings. It is very easy to use via the browser portal. Production of transcripts are fast and accurate whilst also coping very well indeed with local dialects and accents/tone etc. It seems to also cope very well with voice recordings where background noise is a factor. Original implementation was easy and the support received from Speechmatics, although hardly needed, was excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Speechmatics?

If the ability to transcribe the text onto selected document templates held by the end customer then this would be massively beneficial. If it could also do this by applying intelligence to determine what sections of the voice recording to transcribe where on the end customer document templates then this would be fantastic. The ability to fulfil both of those features via an API into the business system of choice (and hosted templates) would be highly desirable. What do you like best about Speechmatics?

We have used Speechmatics for transcribing recorded stories from our charity's service users. These recordings are often low-quality and featuring strong accents, so other software often struggled... We used to have to manually transcribe (an extremely time consuming task!) but with Speechmatics have been able to speed this up dramatically, while maintaining accuracy and also producing a subtitle-ready SRT file. What do you dislike about Speechmatics?

We currently use the free plan as it allows us enough audio time for our relatively minimal requirements. We used to be able to download a text file with speakers split, but this feature seems either to have been buried or locked behind the subscription. What do you like best about Speechmatics?

Blazing fast, accurate and stable live and on-demand transcription. It's the best live transcription service we've used so far. It has high language coverage, custom glossaries and speaker diarization, which are essential for live subtitling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
