What do you like best?

As an event planner it is interesting for me to live looking for new tools and alternatives that transfer me to innovate my events to differentiate myself from the rest, for some time I had carried out my events online, but now that it has become a common factor due to the pandemic I need to find something that would help me differentiate myself from the rest and that is when I met Slido, where he allows me in a fairly simple way to give my assistants a voice through surveys, live questionnaires which allows me to considerably increase the interaction within of my events, not to mention that the responses we receive are 100% anonymous, which allows us to generate greater trust with the audience by not disclosing personal information of the attendees when asking questions, also its interface is quite simple to learn, it really didn't take long to discover how Slido works, so in a few my minutes was already able to use this tool successfully Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I don't know why, but it happened to me on one occasion that people could not vote properly during a live, even though I already made a consultation with the support team, I still have not received a favorable response for my problem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have been using it to improve the quality of my audiovisual productions during this quarantine, with the purpose of adding differentiating elements to the rest of the virtual events that are currently being carried out through new strategies to generate interaction between my assistants for which this app is just great. What do you like best?

I love that slido allows me to create slideshows that make presentations more interactive more viewers. It is easy to see that they absolutely love these presentations. It is also easier to track their questions throughout the presentation when I can see them in live time. I love that people can ask me questions and I can directly address them before moving on to other parts of my presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I do not like that I have to switch back and forth between a Google slides show and slido. I wish it was easier to integrate the two sources. Each time I switch back and forth it minimizes and maximizes the viewers screen which can be a bit annoying to viewers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I have found peardeck to complete some more of functionality that I was hoping Slido to complete for me. I wish Slido presented some more different options. It has a very nice polling and question/answer format, but other than that, Peardeck is much more useful in terms of making things more visual pleasing and offering even more options to make your presentation interactive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have solved how to answer problems of viewers while continuing with my presentation. I love that I can present polls and see the results in love time! This makes it easy to guage if the audience is completely understanding my presentation or if I need to go over more of my materials to ensure they understand. Slido is very easy to use as a poll administrator and as a poll user. What do you like best?

From the comfort of your computer you can make invitations to virtual events where they are handled with rounds of questions and answers, you can approach customers through this tool and therefore you get better acceptance from the attendees and the meeting is much more participatory and communicative, It is very easy for guests to register and enter the portal to participate. To carry out all types of surveys, it is quite effective, both for company personnel or for the public in general. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It does not have templates that facilitate the work a little more when handling similar events, it could only change certain characteristics using the base of the previous event, on occasion the program is slowed down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

When you need great participation in your online events, if they are questions and answers, this is undoubtedly the best option for your company or organization. Highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Through the use of this platform, various events related to customer and user surveys in general have been carried out, being able to collect comments and experiences from them at the right time, for us the customer's opinion is extremely important and that is why We make use of this overcoat for quality control, with which improvements can be made of those factors that are causing discomfort or are not liked by most. The meetings become much more attractive and participatory so we always receive a large number of attendees, there is a good option that if the user wishes to appear anonymous if they do not want them to know their identity and this is quite respectable. If you have ever wondered why your Q&A sessions are quiet? Perhaps Sli.do is your solution.

Many participants, especially those in the SEA region, are rather shy to ask questions, let alone speak their mind, for various reasons i.e. wanting to remain anonymous, afraid to ask a silly etc. With Sli.do, everyone with the QR code can ask a question while maintaining anonymity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Unable to track those participants who ask a question. This feature is especially important for sales and marketing team whenever some of them inquire about a certain product or you can sense the prospect but you do not know his identity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Slido is very easy to use. You can spin one up and share with a code accessible form any browser in seconds. It's an easy way to get engagement from an audience, quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I can't think of anything I particularly dislike about the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We used Slido at times to solicit questions for our all hands meetings. It was easy and effective, but as a growing company it would get toxic from time to time. Someone could make a mean comment, which would start responses. Since it was all anonymous, it could get ugly from time to time. Suddenly the engagement you may be hoping for as a presenter is actually gone because of using this tool to try to increase it. Perhaps there are ways of using it non-anonymously that could help this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Sli.do is really easy to use and is a game-changer in the events. I used the free version and it was fantastic, it worked perfectly for the purpose that we wanted. People don't need to be ashamed or afraid to take questions during an event anymore, Sli.do makes it easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

If you are using the free version you can't moderate the questions, all of them will appear on live and sometimes there are questions that don't make sense and the only solution is delete them in front of everyone and sometimes that can make an uncomfortable situation. Besides that, Sli.do rocks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

More interaction from the audience and the fact that you can make questions anonymous, helps a lot those people that are always afraid to talk with the microphone and everyone is looking, making that pressure that some people really don't like. The user interface and control for managing the flow of questions from the audience. You also have the ability to moderate questions as they come in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The need for an additional device to manage live Q&As. You can't monitor and manage a Slido event with just one device. The lack of a way to mark a question as one that'll be answered later. You can only archive it and assure the audience you'll get back to it after the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

My favorite feature is ability to the upvote/downvote. This eliminates duplicate ideas and gives a clear ranking of the group's opinions of different ideas/submissions. You can up & down vote as many as you want.

Its kind of funny when someone's idea gets negative votes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Slido defaults to anonymous posts, which is usually what we want. I've seen a few colleagues create a slido account (maybe they use it on the admin side? not sure why) and their name is associated with their comments while everyone else is anonymous. Kind of awkward for them so be sure you're not logged in when posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have team members all over the world, so we use slido at our monthly all-company meetings to understand what issues are most important to the employees as a whole. We've started sending out the slido code ahead of time so that people can post their ideas & vote before meetings and our leadership can properly prepare to address the group's concerns. It was tough for them to try to answer everything in the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like that you can up & down vote certain questions. Especially the downvote, it doesn't necessarily show up as a downvote but does decrease the overall score so that each question is weighted proportionally to what the audience wants to hear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I don't think that it's very obvious how to ask questions anonymously sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's simple to use, definitely use it before a large meeting where you want to encourage questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company is getting to the size where they cannot easily ask for questions in an organized manner. By sending this out early they're able to gather and group questions so that everyone is heard & we're being efficient with our time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The anonymity function gets kind of funny sometimes because some questions can get kind of snarky. But I guess that's what is also good about this software in that users don't have to be afraid to ask hard questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Open communication as our company gets larger. Everyone's voice gets a chance to be heard, and you can vote on someone else's ideas to make sure it gets heard.
