As an event planner it is interesting for me to live looking for new tools and alternatives that transfer me to innovate my events to differentiate myself from the rest, for some time I had carried out my events online, but now that it has become a common factor due to the pandemic I need to find something that would help me differentiate myself from the rest and that is when I met Slido, where he allows me in a fairly simple way to give my assistants a voice through surveys, live questionnaires which allows me to considerably increase the interaction within of my events, not to mention that the responses we receive are 100% anonymous, which allows us to generate greater trust with the audience by not disclosing personal information of the attendees when asking questions, also its interface is quite simple to learn, it really didn't take long to discover how Slido works, so in a few my minutes was already able to use this tool successfully Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't know why, but it happened to me on one occasion that people could not vote properly during a live, even though I already made a consultation with the support team, I still have not received a favorable response for my problem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that slido allows me to create slideshows that make presentations more interactive more viewers. It is easy to see that they absolutely love these presentations. It is also easier to track their questions throughout the presentation when I can see them in live time. I love that people can ask me questions and I can directly address them before moving on to other parts of my presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that I have to switch back and forth between a Google slides show and slido. I wish it was easier to integrate the two sources. Each time I switch back and forth it minimizes and maximizes the viewers screen which can be a bit annoying to viewers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slido is very user friendly and encourages engagement anonymously which encourages engagement among shy users! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be good if there was a way off using it without having to set it up beforehand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slido is very easy to use as a poll administrator and as a poll user. The interface is seamless and creates a great opportunity for participants to see their responses and engage with other's responses in real time. It allows for people to communicate in a variety of ways which allows for a richer meeting experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, it is a very helpful tool and I will continue to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From the comfort of your computer you can make invitations to virtual events where they are handled with rounds of questions and answers, you can approach customers through this tool and therefore you get better acceptance from the attendees and the meeting is much more participatory and communicative, It is very easy for guests to register and enter the portal to participate. To carry out all types of surveys, it is quite effective, both for company personnel or for the public in general. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not have templates that facilitate the work a little more when handling similar events, it could only change certain characteristics using the base of the previous event, on occasion the program is slowed down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you have ever wondered why your Q&A sessions are quiet? Perhaps Sli.do is your solution.
Many participants, especially those in the SEA region, are rather shy to ask questions, let alone speak their mind, for various reasons i.e. wanting to remain anonymous, afraid to ask a silly etc. With Sli.do, everyone with the QR code can ask a question while maintaining anonymity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unable to track those participants who ask a question. This feature is especially important for sales and marketing team whenever some of them inquire about a certain product or you can sense the prospect but you do not know his identity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slido is very easy to use. You can spin one up and share with a code accessible form any browser in seconds. It's an easy way to get engagement from an audience, quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of anything I particularly dislike about the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using slido even before everything moved online as it it one of the best tools available for an audience to share thoughts and upvote questions they want answered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much as it is a straightforward app with engaging graphics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sli.do is really easy to use and is a game-changer in the events. I used the free version and it was fantastic, it worked perfectly for the purpose that we wanted. People don't need to be ashamed or afraid to take questions during an event anymore, Sli.do makes it easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you are using the free version you can't moderate the questions, all of them will appear on live and sometimes there are questions that don't make sense and the only solution is delete them in front of everyone and sometimes that can make an uncomfortable situation. Besides that, Sli.do rocks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fast allows you to interact with customers by generating questions and receiving information, it is possible to organize a meeting or campaign from a simple vote. The system is simple enough to use so it is quite attractive for both organizers and users. Basically they are surveys at the exact moment or live about your company or products you handle. There is not a single bad comment I can generate from this program, good enough to continue enjoying it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Teams are able to ask questions (even anonymously) during a presentation and their peers can vote on which questions they prefer to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Functionality could be expanded to polls, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface and control for managing the flow of questions from the audience. You also have the ability to moderate questions as they come in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The need for an additional device to manage live Q&As. You can't monitor and manage a Slido event with just one device. The lack of a way to mark a question as one that'll be answered later. You can only archive it and assure the audience you'll get back to it after the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use slido during the company All Hands meetings where all employees from different offices across Europe can ask their question anonymously. It's easy to create a profile, an event code and to monitor all the questions asked even after the end of the event. It's also very nice that people can login and post their questions all day long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We didn't find any downsides when using Slido Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite feature is ability to the upvote/downvote. This eliminates duplicate ideas and gives a clear ranking of the group's opinions of different ideas/submissions. You can up & down vote as many as you want.
Its kind of funny when someone's idea gets negative votes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slido defaults to anonymous posts, which is usually what we want. I've seen a few colleagues create a slido account (maybe they use it on the admin side? not sure why) and their name is associated with their comments while everyone else is anonymous. Kind of awkward for them so be sure you're not logged in when posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that you can up & down vote certain questions. Especially the downvote, it doesn't necessarily show up as a downvote but does decrease the overall score so that each question is weighted proportionally to what the audience wants to hear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think that it's very obvious how to ask questions anonymously sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use and we can post questions in real time. Voting feature is great for determining what question is the most relevant to our company for meetings, and you can sort based on that or recency so we can see when new questions come in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you refresh it resets the sort feature which is a little annoying, so you have to set it again each time if you want to see new questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sli.do provides our company with a platform that enables us to ask questions to our leadership team anonymously. Our coworkers can vote on the submissions they want to hear, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The anonymity function gets kind of funny sometimes because some questions can get kind of snarky. But I guess that's what is also good about this software in that users don't have to be afraid to ask hard questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It works great for our company-wide Q&A sessions, allowing team members to ask questions anonymously and upvote each other's questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sli.do does not require a user account to participate in asking questions or voting. As such, it's very easy to game by upvoting the same question with multiple devices, or by logging into a different internet connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility of the user interface. In addition, it helps to understand people entirely about the presenter what he is going to do, In addition to that, the participants feel privileged to be able to contribute to the class. You can do beeter :D Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not so much of free options. In addition, the free option doesn't give you more than three questions to take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use. Slido has a really good UI on both the back-end and front, very easy to set things up the way we want, and easy for users to use during events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have no particular complaints, but I suppose a CRM integration would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to ask questions to our leadership team anonymously, and up or down vote questions from others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having to enter the event code each time you view the event is annoying, at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
