"Moderation Kept Our Town Hall Anonymous Q&A Safe and Smooth"
4/5
What do you like best about Slido?

Ran a company town hall with an anonymous Q&A open to a few hundred people, and somebody submitted something pretty personal and out of line aimed at a specific exec. Because moderation was turned on, I saw it in the queue before it ever showed up publicly and just didn't approve it. Nobody in that room ever knew it existed. Everything else that came through got approved in seconds since most questions were completely normal, it wasn't like every single one needed scrutiny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

Moderating live while also half paying attention to the actual event is a lot for one person, I missed approving a couple of genuinely good questions late because I was juggling both at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Anonymous voting got the quiet people in the room to actually speak up"
4.5/5
Describe the project or task Slido helped with:

Our service provides a platform for anonymous voting and Q&A during meetings, enhancing participation and engagement. It integrates seamlessly with presentation tools, allowing for real-time interaction without disrupting the flow of the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slido?

We run monthly all-hands and the same three people always asked questions while everyone else just sat there, not because they didn't have anything to ask, just didn't want to be the one raising a hand in front of two hundred coworkers. Turned on anonymous Q&A and suddenly questions started pouring in from people who never spoke up before, upvoting let the most relevant ones bubble to the top instead of our exec just picking whichever hand went up first. Also started using the PowerPoint add-on directly, polls just appear as regular slides now instead of alt-tabbing to a separate browser tab mid-presentation. "Slido Quizzes Made Compliance Training Surprisingly Engaging"
4/5
What do you like best about Slido?

Compliance training is genuinely boring to sit through and I could tell people were just clicking through slides without absorbing much. Built a quiz into the training using Slido instead of a slide at the end, live questions with a leaderboard showing up on screen as people answered. Suddenly there was actual competitiveness in the room, people paying attention because they didn't want to be last on the board. Retention on a follow up check weeks later was noticeably better than previous cohorts who just sat through slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

A couple of the more senior folks in the room clearly found the leaderboard thing a bit much for something as dry as compliance training, felt more suited to a livelier session than mandatory policy review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Ideal Tool to Present & Interact with Students with easy Clicks, No brainer"
5/5
What do you like best about Slido?

Slido makes amazingly easy for me to share educational content with my students offering all means of interaction, all to turn any meeting very illuminating. You can share your content, ask students easily with make-for-you questions of all types, you can share data, rates; you can even test them on the spot through the facility of quizzes. Briefly, its dashboard is user-friendly as any beginner will be able to use, its intuitive functions and facilities, and above all, these features are affordable at less than 15 USD per month, which is totally less expensive than its rivals.

For the things I did not like, let me say that Slido did not offer a lot of features for free plans. Its Professional Plan is too expensive. One moe thing, the integrations. I find it less helpful to use video, I could not record the presentation, for personal records, which is strange. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

That its is too expensive for enterprises and education institutions. I still need, as an educator, the inclusion of LMS integrations to make it private, protected and mainly recorded for later uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless QR Code Icebreakers with Live Visual Metrics"
4/5
What do you like best about Slido?

It’s a great way to incorporate an icebreaker into a meeting or training session. It’s interactive and very seamless to join and participate in. Once it’s set up, every participant can join simply by scanning a QR code; it works quickly and doesn’t require much technical ability. It also pairs well with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Microsoft Teams. The standout feature for me is the real-time visual metrics you can see live as people join and cast their votes or answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The pricing plans are a bit on the higher side if you only intend to use it periodically. The Basic Plan does offer some flexibility for customization, but if you’re concerned about maintaining your own company branding, it can feel a bit limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Interactive Polls and Q&A, but Limited Compliance Controls and Deep Analytics"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Slido?

The best thing about Slido is how easily it makes a passive experience an interactive one. With live polls, Q&A session, quizzes, and word clouds, participation becomes easier than ever for users in any scenario, be it a meeting, a training session, or a bigger event. It ensures high participation rates when there may be reluctance to participate.

An important advantage offered by Slido is the simplicity of use and integration with various tools such as PowerPoint and Webex. Interactions can be set up quickly, and the participants need not download anything before using it, which takes away the burden from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The first weakness of Slido lies in the fact that whereas it offers a good solution for basic engagement, it might be too constrained when applied to regulated areas like healthtech or fintech. In particular, while organizing some sessions related to patient or finance operations, there might be the necessity to implement a more sophisticated mechanism of data management, control over the anonymity settings, and other compliance features.

Another weak point associated with the tool is connected to its flexibility and level of analysis. Indeed, although it is rather user-friendly in terms of polls and Q&A, it becomes too constrictive when using Slido for some specific purposes. For example, the analytics are helpful on the whole, but lack the required level of detail that would allow analyzing the participants' behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Live Polls and Q&A Make Employee Feedback Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Slido?

The live polls and Q & A features are very useful because they give employees a simple way to share questions without interrupting the discussion. I also like that responses can be collected in one place which makes it easier for me to understand what people are thinking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

Some settings can take a little time to understand when you are using them for the first time but these are fairly minor issues for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Interactive Slides That Keep Audiences Engaged"
5/5
What do you like best about Slido?

It's a wonderful way to embed interactive slides into a power point presentation that engages the audience with the power to provide active feedback and responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

It's something we use a few times a year, and while we love it for that, we pay the same as companies that use it daily. If we could come up with alternate uses, that would be ideal, but until that time it's kind of pricey for a limited use item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super easy to use, highly recommended for quiz, competitions & L&D's."
5/5
What do you like best about Slido?

I really like Slido's enhanced integration with platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, making engagement during virtual events easier. The improved analytics dashboard provides valuable insights into audience participation, and the expanded custom branding options allow for a more professional look. Additionally, the new interactive polls and quizzes make participation more fun. Overall, these updates significantly enhance the experience for both organizers and attendees! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

Slido is effective but can improve by enhancing customization, expanding integrations, and offering better analytics. Adding offline functionality, improving the mobile experience, and including gamification would increase participation. Better multi-language support and more poll options could also boost engagement. These changes could significantly enhance Slido. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Interactive Presentations with Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about Slido?

I like using Slido because it creates a sort of interactivity with the audience that everyone loves and appreciates. It gives me insight directly about what the audience understands and thinks. The interactivity part is really amazing, allowing me to create a baseline understanding by making the audience vote throughout the presentation, and the results showing up on the slides are impressive. I find the setup really easy, as I can install the add-ons in PowerPoint, connect it with my browser and account seamlessly, and see templates and voting results in my slides directly. It's been an amazing experience, and the audience loves it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

I would really like to see Slido in Canva, and their pricing model need to be adjusted. In addition to that, I want them to be like Quizlet or something like that to maybe enable some quizzes, not only voting or interaction. I maybe want them to have a quiz inside my PowerPoint and to share them the results and the correct answers after the lecture has ended to their emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
