## Slido Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Slido free, or does it offer a free trial?

Slido does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Slido pricing best suited for?

Slido's pricing is best suited for mid-market organizations in education, technology, nonprofits, and corporate training that run regular interactive sessions. G2 reviewers from these segments consistently praise Slido's value at the Engage and Professional tiers. The free Basic plan suits educators, consultants, and small teams with occasional, smaller-scale events under 100 participants. The one-time Engage plan at $49 appeals to infrequent users needing full features without a subscription commitment, a point several G2 reviewers highlight positively. Enterprise-level organizations running large town halls or conferences with thousands of participants align with Slido's Enterprise tier, though some G2 enterprise reviewers flag the pricing jump between tiers as steep.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Slido?

Slido's free Basic plan supports unlimited events with up to 100 participants but restricts users to 3 polls, 1 quiz, and 1 Brainstorm topic per event, with no data exports or surveys. G2 reviewers frequently cite the poll limit as the primary frustration, with many wishing for at least 5 free polls. Slido's paid plans starting at $12 per month unlock unlimited polls, surveys, image polls, data exports, and privacy features. Higher tiers add moderation tools, custom branding, multiple rooms, SSO, and larger participant capacities up to 5,000. G2 users note that features like question moderation and advanced analytics are locked behind Slido's more expensive tiers.

Is Slido considered good value for its pricing?

Slido is broadly considered good value, particularly for its free and mid-range tiers. G2 reviewers consistently give high ratings averaging near 5.0, even when noting cost concerns, signaling a premium tool that delivers on its promises. The free Basic plan earns praise for its generous feature set, with G2 users frequently highlighting it as surprisingly capable. However, pricing friction is a recurring theme: G2 reviewers from small businesses and infrequent users find subscription costs steep for occasional use, and several note the one-time event fee feels high. Enterprise-level pricing also draws criticism. Reviewers who switched from Poll Everywhere and Kahoot cite Slido as more cost-effective for their needs.

"Goodbye Awkward Silences, Hello Real Engagement"

5/5

What do you like best about Slido?

Slido is a fantastic tool for making presentations feel like a real conversation instead of a one-way lecture. What stands out most to me is the anonymous Q&A, which really levels the playing field and gives even the quietest people in the room a comfortable way to ask thoughtful, insightful questions without feeling any pressure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The PowerPoint integration feels incredibly clunky. It often lags or even crashes at the worst possible moment—right when I’m trying to build momentum during a live presentation. I also find the pricing structure for the “Pro” features pretty stingy, since it puts basic necessities like data exports behind a paywall that feels more like a ransom than a fair upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?

Honestly, Slido is a lifesaver for anyone who’s ever felt that cringe-worthy tension during a dead Q&A session, or who’s struggled to get a straight answer from a distracted crowd. It takes away the social anxiety of having to raise your hand, and it makes meetings feel less like a boring lecture and more like a real, two-way conversation—one where people actually feel comfortable speaking up and being honest. "Standout Q&A Upvoting and Moderation, with a Clean Mobile Experience"

4/5

What do you like best about Slido?

The Q&A upvoting and moderation queue is the standout feature for us. It lets employees ask sensitive questions anonymously while preventing the loudest voice from dominating the town hall. I also appreciate how clean the participant view looks on mobile devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The analytics export is fairly basic and requires manual cleanup in Excel before sharing with leadership. I also find the user limit on the lower tier plans gets restrictive during company-wide meetings. The event link tends to expire too quickly for those catching up on recordings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of silent audiences and post-meeting email clutter by capturing questions in real time during the session. The anonymity option has significantly increased honest feedback from junior staff on sensitive topics. It also eliminates the need for me to manually tally dozens of Post-it notes after workshops.
