The most important feature of the Deltek Replicon is zero time capability. As a developer, I hate manual time entry, and Replicon does a great job of suggesting my hours based on my activity in tools like Jira, Slack, and Zoom etc. It essentially automates the boring part of my Friday afternoon. I also appreciate the modular approach, we can use TimeBill for client projects while keeping our internal timeoff management in the same dashboard. The reporting engine has a bit of a learning curvit quiet difficult for beginners. While its very powerful, creating custom templates can feel unintuitive at first because the menus are quite deep. I have also noticed that the AI suggestions occasionally need manual correction if, I am context switching too fast between multiple small tickets, as it can struggle to categorise micro tasks accurately. Lastly, now that its part of the Deltek ecosystem, I am hoping the UI stays clean and doesnt become as cluttered as some of the older enterprise ERP systems, Itwont look good. I appreciate the use of Deltek Replicon for tracking engineer hours for intercompany expense credit. I find it frustrating that I'm unable to change defined field names in Deltek Replicon. Additionally, the transition from the in-house chat function to the current customer support portal or email system has been difficult and annoying. The top notch features of Replicon which is Time Tracking and Project billing are the best features which gives flexibility and ease of use i really liked about the software Replicon. The user interface of the software is very much intuitive, which makes life easy for the employees and managers to work on it and manage so many functionalities like logging hours, manage timesheets, and monitor resource utilization without any functional training. The best part about the software is that it can be configure with any other software and can be also used to billing clients, or managing internal project costs, replicon adapts to your business needs. Well, I find two difficulties while using Replicon, first is that the complexity involved in the setting up the software and customizing the software within the organization while initializing the software for the first time, but this can also be overcome as the software is highly configurable and its flexibility provides good learning curve for administrators that is why some users find it overwhelming to tailer workflows, permissions or reporting without any external effort.

Secondly, the software sometimes lag due to preparing large reports which requires times to prepare and the integrations with third-party apps like payroll and ERP may also be tricky and require technical assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
