I have been using BQE Software for over 1 year. I have been regularly logging hours and expenses as part of my daily work. I love the app version where I can take a picture of my receipt and discard it immediately, this has saved me a lot of time by passing the expenses directly to the accounting team. Tracking billable hours is also quite easy and there are a couple of options to do it, from using project timers that you can pause and resume to the old manual entry method. It is very helpful that BQE CORE allows for my hours to be logged broken down by client, project, and project phase. It leads to seamless hour tracking between me and my team leadership so that the client is invoiced accurately, and so that the whole team has a good understanding of how much time a particular task takes. The app has an issue of updating the correct project. When I add time for the whole week at once and use the 'next cell' after submitting a time for a day. The app changes the project. So I have to exit out of the menu screen and manually click on each day for the same project. It would be nice if I hit ''next cell' it would stay on the same project. The software is still a bit NON uder friendly. It is geting better and moving in the right direction. There are still things about ArchiOffice that I miss and would be very helpful to the team. BQE's policies and pricing: I had a subscription with BQE Classic for seven years. The price went up 80% in 7 years, and I didn't notice any improvement. BQE Core is even more expensive. As a very small company, it's untenable. Also, there are all the extra fees and charges. BQE charges $595 to export your own data after expiration/cancellation. That's more than what it costs to renew for another year, and export it yourself. Even QuickBooks gives their users 60 days of free 'read only' access to their own data after expiration/cancellation. In addition, during my time as a BQE subscriber, I was less than impressed by how they treated me as a customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is probably related to our security setup for our company, but if you forget to add your receipt on expenses before you save, you are unable to edit and add it after the fact. Also, if would be great if you could copy an expense and modify it for recurring monthly expenses. I've tried the copy function and either it is not working or I just need to research a little further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
