ProProfs replaces a legacy tool that requires content build and deployment before changes are visible to customers.  I like ProProfs' straightforward approach to content creation, editing, and publishing.  Content updates can be pushed immediately.

**What do you dislike about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

ProProfs Knowledge Base could benefit from additional controls over notifications.  Currently, only the account owner receives notifications about documents pending publishing.  Ideally, this notification could be forwarded to various editors based on their subject matter expertise.

Provides software documentation to our client users.

**What do you like best about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

ProProfs Knowledge Base lets me create and edit content using a simple and intuitive editor. I can also use templates, fonts, colors, logos, and more to customize the look and feel of my knowledge base. Another interesting aspect of the tool is its collaboration features that let my team members work together, initiate discussions through comments, and closely track every change happening in the knowledge base.

**What do you dislike about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

As of now, I haven’t faced any noticeable drawbacks. However, I wish there were more customization options within the templates.

I am using ProProfs Knowledge Base to create and manage documentation for my software products. It has helped me provide clear and consistent customer information and reduce support queries. It has improved SEO and driven more traffic to my website.

ProProfs Knowledge Base integrates beautifully with our ticketing system - Freshdesk. This integration helps us manage our tickets better, as every request raised by customers on the knowledge base, comes directly to our Freshdesk account.

We just started using the tool, a couple of months back. For now, we are happy with the way it’s performing.

ProProfs Knowledge Base has brought immense relief to our support team. Tickets have reduced thanks to the self-service platform we have built for customers. And the tickets that are raised are much easier to manage and resolve with the tool’s integration with our help desk system.

**What do you like best about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

ProProfs Knowledge Base features a rich text editor that lets users write and edit content as one would with popular document creators like MS Word. The tool offers great features, single sourcing of content, and the ability to easily import Word docs, PDF files, PPTs, and Excel sheets for creating FAQs and more.

We did not encounter any major cons as whatever queries we had were promptly resolved by the technical support team.

Remote team collaboration has definitely improved. Employee onboarding has gotten more streamlined than before. And most importantly, our remote teams’ efficiency is also improving.

We started using the knowledge base tool to handle the increasing number of customer queries regarding our products. The sheer volume of the questions made it quite difficult for our team to address them all on time. Using ProProfs to create well-structured FAQs has been game-changing for us.

Ease of using tooltips,content snippets.

Full-spectrum documentation-ProProfs offers more than the usual KB or white labeling. We also use ProProfs for our contextual help (tooltips, lightboxes, and popups). 

Independence-ProProfs allows the technical writing department to update contextual help without having to rely on developers. This is a “win” for Development because they are not wasting time and personnel coding documentation into the build. 

Scalable-No special infrastructure or builds, no additional personnel, no changed work processes – and we can scale to an unlimited number of OEMs. A new OEM can be added to KB in under an hour!! 

Versatility-The KB can work with our cloud and our on-premises systems.

**What do you like best about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

ProProfs Knowledge Base is a unique tool designed keeping in mind both types of users - the ones who know how to code and the ones who are beginners or have zero knowledge of coding. My team and I fall in the second category, but despite that, we have had no difficulties while using the software. That, I would say, is something I loved about it.

The integrations could be more powerful. This is the only area I feel I needed more value from the tool.

Inducting new employees and familiarizing them with our company culture, values, policies, etc., used to be a headache before. And we used to have multiple training sessions every month, which was an even bigger problem, especially for our department heads. ProProfs has helped us take employee onboarding completely online, saving us a lot of time, money, and effort.

Although the current structure is good, we wanted the templates to be a little more comprehensive than what they are.

ProProfs Knowledge Base is one of the easiest tools we have used so far. We wanted a tool that doesn’t require coding knowledge, since we come from a non-technical background. To our surprise, this is one of the few tools that can be configured and used without coding knowledge.

There isn’t anything specific to be disliked about the tool. But yes, we would love to see more advanced features in its future versions.

It’s not something we dislike. It’s just something we faced while using the tool. There were technical problems. The software kind of worked slowly but we got rid of it super soon.

The software has some amazing features. Loved the templates and in fact our work got so much less and easy when we started using them.

I don’t think there is anything we disliked. The tool has been working great for us.

Most of the tickets that our agents work on used to be about very basic issues, which ideally should be handled by customers themselves. Such tickets put unnecessary pressure on our agents and also affect the quality of service they provide. That’s when we decided to create an FAQ section on our website and ProProfs helped us do that with minimum hassles.

**What do you like best about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

It’s hard to answer this in a few words. There are a lot of things that we just loved about this tool - wide-ranging templates, powerful customization options, export, import, easy writing, and publishing. Besides these, we could also integrate the tool with various other software. For instance, we use Zendesk for ticketing, and ProProfs Knowledge Base integrates well with Zendesk - this made the software even more valuable for our customer support process.

It has been going well so far. No complaints as of now.

Our customer support process was in bad shape. The endless inflow of tickets was a challenge to handle for our support team of limited members. ProProfs Knowledge Base came as a breath of fresh air. We used it to create a self-service knowledge base for our customers, and this has brought down our tickets by a huge number. Our customers are happy, and our agents are even happier now.

ProProfs Knowledge Base software has got everything for every need. That’s the best part. For instance, we wanted the tool to help us with the workflow process and team collaboration. Its features allowed us to set workflows while writing content and allot different roles - editor, contributor, and administrator to different teams and groups.

We aren’t very satisfied with the 15 days trial version. Extending it would be better as it will help users get a deeper understanding of the tool before subscribing to it.

Using the tool, we have built a resourceful knowledge platform where employees can collaboratively create and manage knowledge. It’s a great way to make business knowledge easily accessible to existing as well as new employees.

The tool is assisting us with team collaboration at the moment. Our teams are spread across cities, and we wanted a tool that our employees can use to build the business knowledge, manage it, and make it instantly available to everyone. Moreover, it provides a feedback system where employees can rate the helpfulness of an article and give suggestions.

We were amazed by the detailed reports provided by the tool. They were of real help to us in understanding how customers are using our knowledge base. The best part anyone can understand reports as they are in graphical and tabular forms. We had no idea that the reports would capture even minor details like the number of articles created weekly and keywords that do not deliver accurate information. The tool’s reporting system is simply amazing.

There is nothing to strongly dislike about the tool. It’s a great tool with powerful features. But, there is always room for improvement in any product. We would love to see more advanced features in the future.

We are able to serve our customers better. Our customer support knowledge base is regularly updated based on what customers are searching for. That helps us provide the most relevant and updated information to our customers so that they don’t have to reach out to us for trivial issues.

We were using a different knowledge base tool before, but it lacked the reporting function that ProProfs provides. We created a help center using that tool but had no idea how customers are using it. That’s when we decided to go for ProProfs Knowledge Base.

ProProfs Knowledge Base is a simple product with advanced features. We initially thought that the product might require us to be good at coding, but thankfully, we could work with the product even with minimum coding knowledge. It has got some beautiful templates for creating manuals, documentation, knowledge base, and more. That made the work of content creation even simpler.

Honestly, we have recently started using the product, and there’s nothing substantial that we dislike about the product as of now.

We have seen a significant reduction in support tickets. Customers don’t raise tickets for basic issues now, as they can find all answers in the portal. That’s a big relief for our support team.

We were facing a hard time with our customer support function for quite some time. The tickets were increasing like never before, and most of the customer questions used to be on basic problems. It was creating unnecessary pressure on our support staff. 

ProProfs Knowledge Base software helped us build a centralized customer support portal where customers can find answers to their questions in minutes. The portal has been quite beneficial and both our customers, and agents have appreciated the effort.

**What do you like best about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

Their customer support is awesome! They are always willing to help and will do a lot of customization when things aren't looking or working the way you hoped. Their templates library is awesome and gives you options to select from a range of templates. You can even customize your template as per your product design.

**What do you dislike about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

We've been live for just a few days and haven't faced any challenge other than having to learn how to use a new tool.

**What problems is ProProfs Knowledge Base Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to recieve lots of emails from our customers on a regular basis and most of them were repetitive. Answering all those questions used to take lots of our time so we decided to answer all those questions and post those answers in KB so that our customers don't have to email us to find out the answers. From the day we implemented our KB, emails from our customers went down by 70%.

**What do you like best about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

The tool is of immense help when it comes to creating an online product document. Its contextual help feature lets you add tooltips, popups and lightboxes to explain the complicated features and terminologies related to a product. Writing and editing content is a breeze with the MS Word-like editor it offers. You can even upload content, images and videos directly to the product document. 


**What do you dislike about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

There is nothing that I disliked strongly about the product. But yes, I would say its 15 days trial version is something I wasn’t satisfied with. I feel it’s too less time to understand a product. Otherwise performance wise, I will give the product a 10 on 10.

Our major concern was to reduce customer tickets by providing customers with an online product manual that can be accessed easily. It helped us create a web-based manual for our product which our customers now use extensively to solve queries on their own. This has brought down support tickets significantly.

This tool is very useful for various purposes and can be used alfor knowledge based or complex business solutions.
You can access helpsites and solve your issues yourself.
Customer support is excellent and they keep on adding the changes.

It has helped me alot in expanding my love for teaching as because of this software I'm able to design quiz, exams, polls and notes for my students.  Its quite simple to use and students can take practice exams at home. It has quite revolutionized the way of teaching.

I cannot use something that is complex and confusing and this is why I opted for ProProfs Knowledge Base. It is extremely simple to use. Despite being simple, it has smart features that help in creating a powerful knowledge base.

Nothing I can think of right now, as I have just started exploring it.

It is useful for categorization, collaboration, and content management. It is extremely user-friendly. Data and document management are awesome features. Full text search. Guided problem solving. Self-learning. Last but not least, customer support is very outstanding.

With ProProfs Knowledge Base, we landed at an easy to use, versatile, and a clutter-free interface. Even those without any technical experience can operate this software easily.

The navigation was confusing in the beginning. For instance, customizing our domain, nonetheless, it became clear rather swiftly.

We are just in the trial stages, but this should definitely be on your list of Knowledgebases to consider. After trialing several, it clearly came out on top.

Our goal is to get all of our documentation online, editable and searchable to reduce the number of support tickets and to help internally.

**What do you like best about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

One of the key features that influenced our decision was the fully featured text editor which allows you to easily create content with advanced formatting options. There are lots of advanced features that we also like such as the SSO, private sites, custom domain and PDF generation.

**What do you dislike about ProProfs Knowledge Base Software?**

The mobile version for the end user is slowly improving but it still isn't as good as the desktop look and feel.

We used Proprofs to implement an online knowledge base for our products providing an easy to use and nice interface platform for editors, product managers, support and users.

I wanted to create wikis for my corporate team and it provided me the easiest tools to create an insightful wiki. It has a very simple interface and numerous options of importing and exporting docs.

Nothing to be really honest, it provided me more options than I expected.

If you have any confusions regarding this product, then you should try the 20 pages which are forever free. That’s how I started using it but then I got so used to its ease of functionality that I went for a premium account.

I think it is an amazing tool for coordination between multiple teams. Me and my team were able to easily communicate and work on our projects at the same time without no problems. With its cloud based repository, distance is just numbers!
