## Poka.io Reviews
 ### 1. POKA Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma S. | Factory Digital Systems Specialist, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

We have been using POKA since Q4 2019 and have more than 150 users within our plant. We have mainly utilized POKA as a tool to aid communication within the factory, sharing knowledge and resolutions to the issues encountered.
I like the training aspect that POKA brings, and in recent years we have implemented changes that allow us to utilize this side of the application, mainly for OJT through our TWI programme. The team matrix is a useful visual for trainers to identify training opportunities, as well as for managers to see what level each of their team members has been trained to.
Perhaps my favourite feature is POKA Forms, as they are so easy to create and are extremely user friendly for operators completing their daily requirements. The QR codes take them directly to the form and each form has a similar look, making a standard that's easy to follow and understand.
If there are any issues with the application, the customer support team are always quick to respond and often resolve the issue within minimal time. Where this is not possible, they will keep you up-to-date with the current status.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

There are a couple of design features which could be improved, such as the notifications icon at the top of the screen. This is currently utilized for all notifications and the indicating number is removed when the icon is pressed. It would be good to see these notifications split out into Issue related and Individual task related icons, to better differentiate and highlight when each individual has an outstanding requirement.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Utilizing the QR codes generated within POKA is a useful tool to enable factory floor workers quickly access relevant information for the equipment in use at any time. Having the information available when and where required enables the team to overcome issues quicker.
POKA Forms is greatly benefitting us, ensuring the required daily forms are always at hand, as well as helping sustainability efforts by reducing the quantity of paper used within the factory.
Utilizing the training content, skills and matrix has enabled a reduction in time taken to complete required admin work following training sessions.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Hi Gemma,

Thank you for your continued partnership since 2019 and for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear that Forms, QR codes, and the Team Matrix are delivering real value on your shop floor — from faster access to information to supporting training and sustainability efforts. And we truly appreciate your kind words about our support team.

Thank you as well for the suggestion around improving notification visibility. Feedback like this helps us continue refining the user experience.

We’re grateful for your trust in Poka.

 ### 2. Bringing real time learning closer to employee at the point of need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh K. | Regional E&T/Poka Coach, GEM, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Forms module makes it easy for the shop floor to quickly input all production data, and then use that data to build meaningful dashboards. Skills management is also very helpful—having clear visibility into operators’ skill levels makes a big difference. We are thinking about using Poka as one stop solution for most of the shop floor activities.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Often, we see opportunities for new, additional features that would fit well into our existing process, but the current limitations restrict our ability to progress smoothly. Also, each new feature request or improvement takes a long time to be delivered.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The significant advantage is that Poka makes every employee aware of their strengths and gaps concerning required skills and knowledge. It is designed to link each skill gap to the knowledge platform where employees can learn to build their skills. The knowledge platform can be connected to any other external sources and also can be more creative teaching through videos and pictures, which is more impactful. One access to all learnings.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Hi Rajesh,

Thank you for the great feedback and for being a valued partner. We’re glad to hear the Forms module and Skills Management are helping your team capture production data efficiently and gain clear visibility into skill gaps — exactly the kind of impact we aim to deliver at the point of need.

We also appreciate your candid input on feature expansion and delivery timelines. We’re continuously investing in accelerating innovation while ensuring enterprise-grade quality, and your feedback helps shape our priorities.

Thank you again for your partnership.

 ### 3. An amazing App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave B. | CAD Designer/Training pillar leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

This application truly makes employees’ work easier. Whether it’s consulting a work instruction to know how to perform a task or solving an issue using troubleshooting guides, it really gets the job done. The electronic forms are easy to create and extremely practical for a company. Being able to communicate with employees on various topics, such as safety and quality, makes it an essential tool.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The most challenging part is having to log in as soon as we start using the application, even when we are on a private network. It would be better if the application opened directly and only required identification when a modification needs to be made, using a four‑character code. This would greatly simplify the work of production employees.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you want to harmonize all the texts to make a coherent presentation, I can help you put them together.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Hi Dave,

Thank you for the amazing review and for sharing how Poka is supporting your teams. We’re thrilled to hear that work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and electronic forms are making day-to-day work easier and helping you communicate effectively around safety and quality. That’s exactly the impact we aim to deliver on the shop floor.

We also appreciate your feedback on the login experience. Simplifying access for production employees is incredibly important, and your suggestion is valuable. We’re continuously working on balancing ease of use with security requirements, and input like yours helps guide those improvements.

Thanks again for your trust and partnership!

 ### 4. Easy-to-Use All-in-One Platform for Work Instructions, Training, and Shift Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra B. | Plant Training Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

We use Poka in multiple ways across our operations. We rely on it for work instructions, machine guides, troubleshooting, training, forms, and general information sharing. It also helps our production operators communicate smoothly across shifts and collaborate with different departments. Overall, it’s a single platform that’s easy to use, simple to navigate, and effective at engaging users. For us, it functions as our internal social and working network.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The biggest issue we ran into wasn’t Poka itself, but the lack of connectivity between our plants. Now that we understand everything Poka is capable of, we would have set it up differently from the start. That said, it’s an advantage that we can use what we’ve learned to better support new plants as they come onboard.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka is helping support our corporate initiative for connected workers. It brings together all the information our team needs about machinery and processes, so it’s available right at their fingertips. We also use forms every day and conduct audits weekly, and having everything in one place makes it easier to stay organized. Overall, Poka has helped us stay connected and keep the entire team up to date on issues.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Hi Sandra,

Thank you for sharing your experience and for highlighting how Poka supports your work instructions, training, forms, and shift communication. We’re glad to hear it’s helping your teams stay connected, organized, and aligned across plants.

We also appreciate your transparency around the initial setup and cross-plant connectivity. It’s great to hear you’re now able to apply those learnings to better support new plants coming onboard.

Thank you for your continued trust in Poka!

 ### 5. Intuitive UI and Powerful Data Visualization Drive Seamless Rollout

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Manufacturing Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

I think the very simple, yet effective UI is a huge advantage of the platform. As a corporate stakeholder of the platform for GE Appliances, I have found Poka to be very easy to navigate - from an end user and admin/SME perspective. This has allowed for a smooth rollout across several of our manufacturing sites.

To give specific examples, I really appreciate the following:
- Multiple ways to access the same content (manual through site structure, QR code scanning, ask Poka). This is very accommodating to a high-volume manufacturing environment when the access to information in a timely manner is very essential.
- Sharing of information: since I am a corporate stakeholder of the platform I find it very beneficial to be able to share content (forms, WI/TBS, Skills, etc) across sites. This allows for a fair sharing of Poka admin responsibilities.
- Data Visualization: the ability of the platform to take data and create visible action is very powerful, including "analytics managers'" ability to create custom dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Our experience has been hampered by a notable lack of customizability. The platform faces challenges when integrated into a broader manufacturing environment, especially where existing external systems serve as the primary data source.

Instead of achieving smooth integration, we frequently find ourselves navigating unnecessary obstacles just to make workflows operate as intended. This has resulted in negative feedback from end users and has hindered adoption.

One clear example of this issue is the difficulty in escalating an issue to a work request once the CMMS system is fully integrated. Rather than having a straightforward connection, we are required to create extra, redundant forms simply to connect Poka with our internal systems.

For the platform to be truly enterprise-ready, the Poka team should provide greater flexibility in considering feature suggestions and enable more customization for individual customer environments.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka has been instrumental in supporting us in several important areas. One major benefit has been improved traceability and visualization of key issues, along with greater accountability and data-driven corrective actions. For instance, by converting many of our paper forms and checklists into digital formats within Poka—complete with issue escalation capabilities—we have addressed previous concerns about issues being escalated without proper action tracking or resolution.

Another significant advantage has been in equipment troubleshooting, particularly in reducing mean time to repair (MTTR). The platform’s work instruction and troubleshooting creation features have been especially valuable for us at GE Appliances. Notably, the AI-assisted PDF and video-to-work instruction tools have significantly reduced the time required to create documentation and make it readily available to our frontline staff. As a result, we have observed a direct positive impact on critical equipment downtime by leveraging these features.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Thank you so much Ben for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review. We really appreciate your perspective.

It’s great to hear that Poka’s intuitive UI, flexible access to content, and data visualization capabilities have helped support a smooth rollout and drive real visibility and accountability on the shop floor. We’re especially glad the AI-assisted work instruction tools are helping reduce documentation effort and equipment downtime.

We also value your candid feedback around customization and integrations in complex enterprise environments. Insights like these help us better understand how Poka is experienced alongside existing systems and workflows.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and for your continued partnership.

 ### 6. Massive Improvement in Work Instructions and SUC Compliance Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

From where my specific site has come from to where we are now is a massive improvement in the amount and quality of our Work instructions and we are slowly starting to have more troubleshooting documents this also a better way to trend and track our SUC compliance.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

While there are many features that are great where i am seeing the biggest need for improvement is around the updates that need to be made to Documents/Skills/ Work Instructions/etc. that have been translated into multiple languages. when updates are made there need to be a way to flag/notify that this document has more languages that need to be updated. This will be pivotal from an Audit standpoint and eliminate multiple versions of a process.

 ### 7. Responsive Support, Smarter AI, and a Clean, Improved Video Editing Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara H. | Site Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

I like the support that we have had from the company and their interest in reaching out to us to learn what we would like to see. I like the ai improvements that have been made over the last year and the improvement in video editing. I like the layout and clean feel compared to other systems I have used.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

I wish there was more levels when breaking down an asset. The function does not work for a maintenance teams as they would like a connection with SAP and the ability to break down the asset to more defined parts.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training management and record keeping. SWI creation.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Thank you, Tara, for your thoughtful feedback and for being a valued Poka user. We’re glad to hear that our support team, AI improvements, and enhanced video editing experience have made a positive impact, and that you’re enjoying the platform’s clean and intuitive design.

We also appreciate you sharing your feedback on areas for improvement. Input like yours is incredibly valuable and helps us continue to evolve the platform to better support our users :)

 ### 8. Poka for Training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Since implementing Poka in 2020, we've been able to improve our site's training program by leaps and bounds! We used to only talk about Operator capabilities by area, but now we can talk about it by specific task. It is much easier for us to identify skill gaps and improve the related training with Work Instructions and Troubleshoots that we embed within the Training Program. We roll out new Skills each quarter to target specific skills and knowledge, and as a result we've been able to drive down specific losses and demonstrate KPI results!

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Enhancements and development of new features seems slow. Also, sometimes an enhancement or new feature is rolled out, and it greatly impacts the user experience in a negative way. I'm uncertain how much actual end users are involved in development.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now working on expanding our use of Training Content in Poka! We often don't have a lot of time to create new Training Content, and we are VERY excited to use the AI tools that were recently released! The Training Content we've made using AI within Poka so far have been quick to create and required minimal editing. We're excited to see the impact this will have at our site in creating standard work!

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your experience and for being a Poka user since 2020. We’re thrilled to hear how Poka has helped you strengthen your training program, better identify skill gaps, and drive measurable KPI improvements. It’s also great to know the new AI tools are helping you create training content faster and with minimal effort — that’s exactly the impact we’re aiming for.

We truly appreciate your candid feedback regarding feature rollout speed and user experience. Ensuring enhancements deliver value without disrupting end users is a top priority, and your input helps us improve how we involve customers in our development process.

 ### 9. Mars Regional Subject Matter Expert

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason H. | MSE Coach, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

I like the way it supports sharing and collaboration. Associates with lots of experience or those who are brand new can connect quickly and easily. Sites and associates can leverage not just the collaboration, but also the visibility to technical information as well (knowledge & skills). Visibility to capability, compliance and onboarding data

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

I still find it difficult to easily pull data an match Poka data with other systems. A large portion of the roadblocks are internal and security which is also internal.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving multiple problems, but probably the biggest problem is the easy access to technical information, such as how to properly do a job. We are currently putting lots of knowledge into our Poka lines, workstations, and equipment which allows easy access to SOPs and SWI. Historically this type of information has been hard for associates to access. Also we are giving visibility to Skills and skills gaps in individual associates and for their teams.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review Jason! It’s great to hear how Poka is supporting collaboration across experience levels and helping make technical knowledge, skills, and compliance information more visible and accessible.

We also appreciate your transparency around data challenges and the realities of working within complex internal and security environments. Feedback like this helps us better understand how Poka fits into broader system landscapes.

Thanks again for sharing how you’re using Poka to improve access to knowledge and highlight skills and gaps across teams.

 ### 10. Incredibly Easy Navigation for Non-Technical Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard B. | CI Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Ease of use for non-technical users. Navigation is incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Pricing and performance. Everything is an add on package. Poka is still not device agnostic, camera functionality is PAINFUL on windows devices, please go try it out if you have not, you'll understand quickly.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication flow from and to the floor has improved tremendously. The API's allow me to get standard work data into other analytics tools.

 ### 11. Training at the tips of your fingers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** zackery w. | Packaging Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Poka is a super easy on the spot tool to get the information needed to do all types of things in the work place. The work instructions can be found with just a couple key words. No more searching endlessly for information needed in a timely manner. Also, Poka training is very easy to understand and very easy to work through independently. The way the program uses your skills to track your progress and keep you updated on new additions or changes to things made in the system is pretty amazing. Keeps you focused on the right things, a good way to keep track of your progress, growth, and above all else an easy way to know how to do a job correctly, safely, and to standard!

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Some of the fields in Poka are hard to understand just by reading. Some things you can learn easily, but others a more hands on approach is more helpful. Poka is a really great application for the work environment, not too many drawbacks it's definitely the future in workplaces! I wish it didn't take so long to transfer information from the old system to Poka, but soon that will no longer be an issue either!

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more having to search for somebody with some lost or forgotten tribal knowledge to do jobs whether in standard operating procedures or work instructions. It's a super easy tool to navigate on hand when you need it the most! Effective, efficient, and a great experience around the board. It's fun watching your skills progress and start seeing your growth within the company as well!

 ### 12. Easy deployment in the company and a truly user-friendly user experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ludovic D. | Directeur des Opérations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

the ease of deploying it within the company + the ease of using it for our users (user-friendly)

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

the multiplication of options makes the solution more complex to understand and decipher; when you want to deploy to sister factories that have not yet deployed, it can make understanding the added value more difficult

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

shorter downtime, better information sharing, involvement of floor employees

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Hi Ludovic,

Thank you for your great review and for highlighting the ease of deployment and user-friendly experience. We’re delighted to hear that rolling out Poka within your organization has been smooth and that your teams find it intuitive to use.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the number of options and the complexity it can create when expanding to sister factories. As Poka evolves, we’re continuously working to simplify the experience while preserving flexibility and depth for different operational needs.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Work Instructions, Skill and Forms features

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

lack of specific report needed and not easy to log in for operator who does not have company email. Also the mass edit for equipment.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the automatic attribution for site production lines. It makes it easy for me to assign skill to certain employees and doesn't have to be by job title.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Thank you Pamela for sharing your experience with Poka. We’re glad to hear the Work Instructions, Skills, and Forms features, along with automatic attribution for production lines are helping simplify skill assignment for your team.

We also appreciate your feedback on reporting, login experience, and mass editing. We’ll be sure to pass these insights along to our product team.

**Reviewed by:** Ana Liz G. | Production Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

It is dynamic and simplified. It makes people with different levels of media knowledge understand the process better.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The platform still lacks some options, especially for maintaining and organizing certain types of documents, among others.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Over time, the platform, in general, has been modified and, consequently, improved. The more it evolves, the more we benefit.

 ### 16. Learning as we go - Building Moral with our associates so we all feel as part of the company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CINDY B. | Process Owner Line 3, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Being able to observe frontline workers develop steadily and demonstrate their capabilities—sometimes beyond what leaders at the plant may realize—has been a significant morale booster so far.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Associates are being deactivated too quickly. Since their team leaders are aware when someone leaves the line or the company, it would be better to let them handle disabling the accounts.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

this will become a great training tool in the near future, it will take some time to keep building this program. This requires at least a team of 2-3 people to complete the tasks that are needed to make this a tool to use daily with all associates and job roles

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this Cindy, it’s incredibly meaningful to hear how Poka is helping highlight frontline growth and boost morale across your team. Seeing associates develop and feel recognized is one of the most rewarding outcomes of the platform.

We also appreciate your perspective on account deactivation.

Building a strong training program is a journey, and we’re glad Poka is playing a role as you continue to grow and shape it with your associates. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

 ### 17. Effortless Work Instruction Creation from Videos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivy P. | Senior TPM Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Being able to create Work Instructions from a video.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The steps required to set up users, approvers, and the site overall are a bit tedious.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka is helping us document issues and how we resolved them- we struggle with disseminating troubleshooting resolutions and keeping a history of them to refer to- so Poka is our collective memory.

**Official Response from Amy Luo:**

> Thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re happy to hear that creating work instructions from video has been valuable for your team, and that Poka is helping serve as a reliable source of shared troubleshooting knowledge.

We also appreciate your input on the setup experience. Feedback like this helps us better understand how customers interact with the platform across different environments.

 ### 18. Promising for Plant Process Streamlining, but the UI Feels Clunky

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

It has good potential to streamline the processes in a plant

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

UI is too clunky and they can do so much more to improve quality of life

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We managed to go from paper form to paperless form which is good

 ### 19. Easy Navigation, But Annoying Scroll Reset

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacie H. | Production Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Easy to navigate around. Easy to learn by looking around.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

How it always goes back to the top of wherever you are working. IE: If working on users, edit someone with last name beginning with G, once done, instead of going back to the G's it goes back to the top. So have to scroll all the way back down again.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having Poka directly linked to our Associate Central so new hires are automatically added to Poka.

We don't have to upload these people manually.

Though not sure if Poka is solving this issue or our people.

 ### 22. Process Enginee

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody S. | Process Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Training consolidation, skill tracking, and forms for tracking various operational items. Very very helpful in our organization as we are growing rapidly and transitioning into a more visual and digital training methods.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Id like to be able to integrate more complex maintenance PMs into the system as well as track various inventories or parts for certain machines.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company has in the past relied on much more rudimentary methods for tracking training for operators i have previous experience in this program from another company and knew it was instrumental in getting up to speed and having proper documentation.

 ### 23. POKA is a life saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

POKA gives us so much more capability to improve organization in the workplace, a one stop shop to keep the most updated versions of our documentation, and greatly improves the communication & accountability of our employees. It works great for a manufacturing setting. It is very user friendly and I like it as a platform for everyone to use daily.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

There are some capabilities that aren't possible on POKA which can be difficult to get buy in and create content exactly as people may envision. It can be difficult to format forms/work instructions/skills and sometimes people get confused on which has what capabilities. Some capabilities in forms would be nice to have in work instructions and skills.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of our standards, One platform to save all content, Going paperless, BetterCommunication between departments/shifts/employees.

 ### 25. Empowering digital transformation with seamless SOP digitization and real-time team collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Baraka K. | Clinical Nutritionist, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

its ability to centralize and digitize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), making it incredibly easy for frontline teams to access real-time information. The platform enhances collaboration, reduces training time, and empowers operators to report issues or improvements on the spot. This has significantly boosted operational efficiency and reduced reliance on paper-based systems, aligning perfectly with our digital transformation goals.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

One thing I dislike about Poka.io is that while it's excellent for digitizing SOPs and boosting frontline efficiency, the initial setup and form customization can be time-consuming without prior training. It also requires strong change management to ensure all team members adopt it consistently. That said, once the system is up and running, it delivers significant long-term value.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka.io is solving the challenge of fragmented, paper-based systems by digitizing frontline operations, SOPs, and quality forms. It streamlines communication, enhances traceability, and ensures real-time access to critical information on the shop floor. For me, this has meant reduced time spent tracking paper trails, faster issue resolution, and improved team alignment. It’s also made continuous improvement easier by capturing frontline feedback directly through the platform.

 ### 26. Poka Admin and User

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** EJ M. | Human Resources Management Development Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Poka.io is honestly one of my favorite tools to use on the floor, and it’s been even more rewarding knowing I helped build it from the ground up. I started as one of the first users during the pilot phase and eventually became both a regular user and a Poka admin. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to use which really matters when you’re juggling a busy floor. I use it daily, and the way it keeps everything accessible and organized makes a big impact. I love that you can pull up work instructions right at the line it saves time and helps everyone stay aligned in real time.

Poka is packed with features that make it an all-in-one solution for training and development. You can assign skills, track competency, and even create quick quizzes for knowledge checks, which helps reinforce learning. One of its biggest strengths is how it supports competency building each skill can be tied to clear step-by-step instructions, videos, and documents that guide employees through the process. Once training is completed, an approver can validate that the employee has met the criteria, ensuring consistency and quality as they move to the next level.

It also gives team leads and managers a clear view of where their teams stand, making it easier to build training plans and support employees in growing into subject matter experts. With how often it’s used, how user-friendly it is, and how many features it offers, Poka has become an essential part of keeping everything connected, efficient, and moving in the right direction.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

While I really enjoy using Poka.io especially after being involved since the pilot phase and eventually stepping into the admin role there are a few challenges I’ve run into, mostly on the administrative side. Being part of the platform’s rollout from the beginning gave me a deep understanding of its capabilities and potential, but it also made me aware of some of the limitations that can impact efficiency, especially in a large-scale operation like ours.

One of the most significant challenges is the restriction on how many users you can add to an approver group. In a factory with such a large footprint, we rely on having multiple approvers spread across various areas to manage the high volume of work instructions and training content. Unfortunately, due to the cap on group sizes, some departments are left with only two or three approvers who are responsible for reviewing and approving well over 200 documents. This creates a bottleneck in the process, leading to delays in getting content approved and distributed, which ultimately affects how quickly we can roll out updates or new training materials.

Another pain point is the lack of flexibility in organizing locations within the system. Poka doesn’t currently allow you to group locations in a way that reflects our operational layout, which makes it difficult when employees move between areas. Instead of being able to seamlessly shift an employee along with their associated equipment and assigned skills, it becomes a manual, time-consuming task. This not only slows down transitions but also increases the chance of errors or oversights.

Lastly, there’s a limitation on how many hierarchy levels you can build into the system. In a real-world factory environment, it’s often necessary to go several layers deep such as from department, to area, to line, to specific equipment. With the current cap, we can’t fully reflect our plant’s structure within Poka, which can make organizing and navigating content less intuitive than it should be.

Most of the things I dislike stem from these administrative challenges. As an admin, I’ve had to get pretty creative to work around these limitations—whether that’s building out unconventional structures, finding shortcuts, or coordinating more heavily with team leads to bridge the gaps. Despite these hurdles, I still believe in the platform’s value, and I’m hopeful future updates will continue to make it even more scalable for operations of our size.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka.io is doing a great job of solving one of our biggest challenges by closing the competency gaps for operators on the floor. In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, it’s not always easy to make sure everyone has the same level of training or access to consistent information. Poka helps bridge that gap by putting the training right where it’s needed, at the equipment. That alone has been a huge benefit. Instead of relying on paper documents or static training sheets, operators can pull up digital instructions, zoom in on images, or even watch a video of the process in action. That level of accessibility and detail gives employees a much more in-depth learning experience and helps reinforce what they're doing in real time.

The ability to learn while standing next to the equipment they’re using, not only speeds up the training process but also makes it more meaningful. Operators aren’t just being told what to do; they’re seeing it, engaging with it, and understanding why it’s done that way. That kind of hands-on, visual learning sticks a lot better than flipping through a binder in a breakroom. It also helps team leads and managers feel more confident that the training is consistent across all shifts and lines, no matter who’s delivering it.

From my perspective, Poka has been a game-changer for both building and maintaining competency. It ensures we’re not just training to check a box. We’re training with purpose, clarity, and the tools to support real growth. As someone involved in both the user and admin side of the platform, it's rewarding to see how it’s helping people learn faster, safer, and with more confidence in what they're doing.

 ### 27. Optimizing the Factory Floor: A Review of POKA for Connected Workers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trina A. | Digital Transformation Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

One of the standout strengths of POKA is its incredible ease of use. From day one, it’s clear that this platform was built with the frontline in mind. The intuitive interface means that even less tech-savvy users can jump in confidently, and that really shortens the learning curve across teams.

The Help Centre is robust, packed with step-by-step guides for just about everything—whether it’s daily use, troubleshooting, or full-on implementation. That level of detail means you’re never stuck wondering what to do next. Add to that instant access to support, and it truly feels like help is always just a click away.

Another big plus? POKA offers customized plans that adapt to your site’s specific needs, not just a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s built to grow with you, not box you in.

When it comes to features, the platform is constantly evolving. One of the most impressive recent additions is the AI-powered PDF-to-work-instruction conversion—a serious game-changer for teams still bogged down with static documents. It’s a smart way to modernize without reinventing every process from scratch.

Onboarding is seamless, and that’s reflected in the response from users. Teams feel empowered, not micromanaged. There's a real sense of ownership and pride in the way people use the app to guide their work on the shop floor. When tools are this accessible and helpful, adoption becomes natural.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

While POKA delivers strongly on usability and frontline engagement, one area with room for improvement is the analytics and reporting capabilities—particularly around Training and Skills tracking.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka.io is tackling some of the most persistent communication and knowledge-sharing challenges in manufacturing head-on, and the impact is clear in daily operations.

One of the biggest wins has been improving communication between shifts—especially on critical production lines. Before Poka, important context often got lost during handovers, but now teams have a centralized, real-time view of the day, making it easier to stay aligned, troubleshoot faster, and reduce downtime.

It also enables operator-to-operator communication, which is key for maintaining flow and catching issues early. Everyone has visibility, not just supervisors, which helps build a stronger sense of team accountability.

Poka shines when it comes to organizing and delivering key operational content—like work instructions, standard routines, set points, and product information. Instead of flipping through binders or chasing down a supervisor, everything is at the operator’s fingertips, when and where they need it.

Another major benefit has been the support for TPM-related training activity. Whether it’s autonomous maintenance tasks or safety, Poka makes it easy to standardize and reinforce best practices through embedded content and bite-sized training—right at the point of use.

These improvements aren’t just about efficiency—they’re about empowering people with the right tools and knowledge to do their jobs confidently and consistently.

 ### 29. Poka, a very robust Connected Worker Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

the application is very intuitive and easy to use. the Scan of a QR code to quickly access information that has been built into the application takes all the guess work out if finding an answer quickly and easily. the enhanced AI integration really makes it easy to get content into the application

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

at this point, we have not identified anything that we did not like, we have found functionalities that we think would enhance the application. we can always submit a feature request for Poka to evaluate and consider building that functionality into the application

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it really checks the boxes in many categories such as improving effective communications, supports our paperless factory journey with digital forms and the ability to store different types of knowledge material in this app is top notch. A really cool thing is that the application has been translated into 37 different languages, so i can develop a SOP in English as an example and easily convert to one of the other languages. The applications 5 modules are tightly connected and easy to connect things between them.

 ### 30. Poka in practice: A promising start with room to grow.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

We've recently started using Poka at our company, and it's already proving to be a game-changer. The interface is incredibly intuitive—especially the Plus icon on each page, which makes adding content quick and seamless. It's clear the platform was built with users in mind. The flexibility to use it on a tablet, PC, or cell phone has allowed us to use it in so many ways. On top of that, the Poka team has been fantastic to work with—responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in our success. Looking forward to what’s ahead!

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

One area for improvement is the limited offline functionality, which can pose challenges in environments with spotty connectivity. Additionally, while powerful, the initial setup and integration can require a bit of a learning curve.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka is helping us capture and share knowledge more efficiently, streamline task execution with real-time access to information, and improve communication across shifts and teams. These benefits are already enhancing productivity and reducing training time.

 ### 31. Great Training tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra W. | Digital Quality Expert, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

How easy it is to use and house content made for training. Can share with multiple sites and provide tools to avoid rework and redundancy.
Easy to upload multiple formats of information like media or graphics, etc.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

-Have more text formatting like bullets, indentations or numbers to help label things in text
-Search feature reverts back to main screen after clicking on items vs. staying on the search so have to search for items again

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I create training content for digital softwares that our company uses so this is a way to share out these ways or working or instructions to other factories and share training content since this can take a lot of time to develop.

 ### 32. Poka helps our Operators Engage with each other and learn together

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

The factory feed has been a game changer for us at Hershey. The operators love that they can communicate issues easily to each other. The ability to translate any message on the FF has brought our bilingual plant together. We love the forms feature, which has been very easy to implement and schedule for various CLs, CILs, and 5S communications. Poka's customer support is also very good. If they can't solve the problem right away, they keep working at it until they do.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

I cannot change a language for a user, the user must login and then change their own language. This makes things a little difficult when onboarding new hires who do not understand English and barely understand the new technology required for them to use. I can save drafts of exams, but not skills. For some reason, I can only publish skills. The exams do not have a short answer option, only multiple choice or true/false.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka is helping us to digitize and securely store training which can be used across different lines and hopefully with future integration, across plants. A lot of our equipment uses the same models and vendors. Rather than "reinventing the wheel" with making the same training for each plant/line, we can share our training and easily update it digitally. This saves a lot of revision time as well as paper, in training and storing training results.

 ### 33. POKA AND IT'S ENDLESS POSSIBLITIES

THE INTERACTION WITH THE HOURLY AND SALARIED EMPLOYEES. WE GET FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP COMMUNICATION. POKA HAS ALSO HELPED US WITH ADVANCING OUR TRAINING THROUGH POKA SKILLS. WE WERE ABLE TO DUPLICATE ANOTHER MILL (FRANAKERS) SKILLS TRAINING AND IT HAS GONE OUTSTANDING SO FAR AND WE'RE EXCITED TO CONTINUE BUILD OUR OWN SKILL TRAINING. ALSO, THE FREATURES, CUSTOMER SUPPORT, EASE OF USE AND IMPLEMENTATION WERE ALL OUTSTANDING.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

I HAVE NOT HAD ANYTHING TO DISLIKE AT THIS POINT

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WE NOW HAVE A CENTRALIZED LOCATION FOR OUR TRAINING DOCUMENTS, SERVICE MANUALS, ELECTRIAL DIAGRAMS, ETC. THIS HAD BEEN A GAME CHANGER FOR US HERE IN HAMMOND

 ### 34. An simple way to move away from paper rounds

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

We’ve used poka to move away from paper documentation and it just makes everything a lot simpler. Scanning the QR codes to get to the rounds is so easy.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The notifications for issues can get a little annoying. Where I work the upper management wants to see all the channels but do not want all of the issues notifying them. I know. You can’t have it both ways.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to trend data collected from process rounds.

 ### 35. POKA great tool for communication and knowledge management.

Is a great mobile tool, it works very well on phones, tablets – Androids and iOS.
The program is constantly evolving, adding new features to the system.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Better text editing capabilities in the Post (colour, bolds) – e.g.if you want to write in bold, you need to use ** to make the text bold.
Lack of pin a post to the top of the screen so that everyone can see it for a while.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to POKA, we have sorted out the topic of periodic training (1, 2 years) in safety and quality, which now reminds itself to be refreshed.
We replaced many paper control cards with digital forms, which significantly increased their efficiency and allowed for quick insight into historical data.

 ### 36. Transparent and always reliable solution

 ### 37. Poka helps bring dated manufacturing process into a digitized modern reality.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cole T. | Quality Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Poka is intuitive in the sense that if you have a general understanding of how to use a computer, social media, and some basic organizational skills, you can pick up pretty quickly on how to use the tool. Poka is super organized and includes many facets helping cut down on the number of other tools needed to complete the same job. From an admin side, it's a smooth process to create a structure based on your company, and easy to train others you work with. The Poka customer support is also very quick to respond to certain issues or ideas, and they all have wonderful attitudes towards the work. I use Poka every single day and it makes training much easier to complete, track, and follow up on.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Some aspects of Poka are still a little elementary. I think Work Instructions and Forms in particular could use some features that ease the process of setting up a rigorous quality controlled documentation system. The ability to have more configurations relating to notification systems would also really help, which is why I'm looking forward to the Home Page to help centralize everything the user needs to know as soon as they login.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka is helping track training content, remind those of refresher trainings, keep documentation up to date without duplicates, create visual skill matrices, and complete forms electronically with the ability to analyze data collected automatically.

 ### 38. Good interface, easy to use.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian C. | Training Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

The biggest upside about Poka is the ability to create skills and work instructions. This has allowed us to step away from the usual binders.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The one downside is that the creation tools aren't as refined as they could be. I struggle with inserting symbols into work instructions often.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka has reduced the number of binders needed in house. This has benefited me by allowing any training material to be up to date without having to swap out paperwork manually.

 ### 39. Going Paperless Has Never Been Easier

 ### 40. POKA has great features for our organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt J. | Training Coordinator & Digital Systems Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

The accessibility and user friendly visuals of POKA make it easy for people to stay informed on current issues at the plant via the Factory Feed. Integrating pieces of equipment into POKA was an easy process thanks to their customer support team.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Our biggest hurdle is user engagement. The best advice is to not give POKA access to every individual at your organization unless they have a need for it. If people don't see the possibilities of how POKA can assist them with their daily tasks, they won't use the platform.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

POKA is allowing us to track equipment problems in real time and assign tasks to the maintenance team on how to solve issues, complete root cause analysis and track historic trends.

 ### 41. POKA. An Elegant Gamechanger

Poka.io helps solve the problem of miscommunication and lack of access to information on the shop floor. Instead of asking around or searching through papers, we can find the right instructions or updates in one place. It saves time, reduces mistakes, and makes sure everyone is on the same page.

 ### 43. Poka.io Staandardization and Structure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derrick S. | Global Site Training Systems Expert, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

My favorite feature(s) of Poka.io are its standardization through structure and shareability. Poka.io allows us to develop and utilize a standardized infrastructure that can be built upon by attaching data, tools, materials, media, etc. allows our business to be more efficient and effective. **What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

My biggest dislike about Poka.io is that there are many existing digital applications whose data are difficult to easily transfer in a usable format.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka.io is currently exploring how AI can be effective to help write standard work instructions and SOPs.

 ### 44. They have a great foundation, innovate constantly, however, they lack tools for data analysis.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier M. | Mejora continua, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

The platform where videos can be saved, forms are filled out.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The information for the creation of Forms is limited when compared to Microsoft Forms, where the data is easier to download, manipulate, and obtain trends.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes the Forms are deleted or disappear, making it less reliable to safeguard information or auditable evidence.

 ### 45. Let's Go Poka

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. | Training Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Mostly easy to use. Great for training employees. Easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

It's hard to keep up with all the updates and how to use some of them. Wish there was a page that I could go to, to get all the information that I need when looking for something.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting the employees the knowledge that they need faster and more accurately.

 ### 46. My Experience in the last 6 months

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

The in depth way forms can be used with significant conditional formatting rules. Poka also has an active support service that is incredibly helpful with questions or concerns.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The lack of available data analytics; POKA has an in built dashboard function however it is rigid and does not do justice to the sheer amount of available data that could be pulled from the system.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poka has allowed us to digitise all of our quality checksheets as well as some of our Audits. This has also enabled better issue tracking and traceability.

 ### 47. Loving my POKA journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharalyn S. | Trainer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

What I find most helpful is the ease of learning how to navigate in Poka

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The one thing I dislike about Poka is not being able to edit Forms on a tablet.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training materials for Operations. This is benefiting me not having to do 1:1 training multiple times.

 ### 48. Poka review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

Easy to navigate around on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

The fact that it is not practical to upload a video with sound, as our work environment is very noisy.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly getting needed repairs to maintenance to expedite repairs.

 ### 49. Fantastic app!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

I love that Poka provides more than one solution, it provides many!
Training content, matrices, forms, exams, issues and much more.
No to mention the very user friendly and frequent product updates.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

There are no downsides to using Poka in my opinion. When there are the occasional bugs or issues, I do wish the technical/customer service team would be more efficient and quicker finding the resolution.

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the issue with keeping all training documents and records in one place and autopopulating training matrices.

 ### 50. Finally an app targeted towards operators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Poka.io?**

First, its ease of usage: all functions are intuitive and there are many ways to find the information you are looking for.
I also like how you can easily you can create contents and make changes almost "on the fly".
There is a great support from the platform itself and from the people at customer support.
It is always improving and the updates are welcome.

**What do you dislike about Poka.io?**

Some other features would gain from being more customizable (e.g. Work instruction's access).

**What problems is Poka.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gatherred all the information an operator would need in one single place, no more need to "look for something" everywhere. It also helped sharing valuable information in an effective way.
