"Optimizing the Factory Floor: A Review of POKA for Connected Workers"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

One of the standout strengths of POKA is its incredible ease of use. From day one, it’s clear that this platform was built with the frontline in mind. The intuitive interface means that even less tech-savvy users can jump in confidently, and that really shortens the learning curve across teams.

The Help Centre is robust, packed with step-by-step guides for just about everything—whether it’s daily use, troubleshooting, or full-on implementation. That level of detail means you’re never stuck wondering what to do next. Add to that instant access to support, and it truly feels like help is always just a click away.

Another big plus? POKA offers customized plans that adapt to your site’s specific needs, not just a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s built to grow with you, not box you in.

When it comes to features, the platform is constantly evolving. One of the most impressive recent additions is the AI-powered PDF-to-work-instruction conversion—a serious game-changer for teams still bogged down with static documents. It’s a smart way to modernize without reinventing every process from scratch.

Onboarding is seamless, and that’s reflected in the response from users. Teams feel empowered, not micromanaged. There's a real sense of ownership and pride in the way people use the app to guide their work on the shop floor. When tools are this accessible and helpful, adoption becomes natural. What do you dislike about Poka.io?

While POKA delivers strongly on usability and frontline engagement, one area with room for improvement is the analytics and reporting capabilities—particularly around Training and Skills tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI and Powerful Data Visualization Drive Seamless Rollout"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

I think the very simple, yet effective UI is a huge advantage of the platform. As a corporate stakeholder of the platform for GE Appliances, I have found Poka to be very easy to navigate - from an end user and admin/SME perspective. This has allowed for a smooth rollout across several of our manufacturing sites.

To give specific examples, I really appreciate the following:

- Multiple ways to access the same content (manual through site structure, QR code scanning, ask Poka). This is very accommodating to a high-volume manufacturing environment when the access to information in a timely manner is very essential.

- Sharing of information: since I am a corporate stakeholder of the platform I find it very beneficial to be able to share content (forms, WI/TBS, Skills, etc) across sites. This allows for a fair sharing of Poka admin responsibilities.

- Data Visualization: the ability of the platform to take data and create visible action is very powerful, including "analytics managers'" ability to create custom dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

Our experience has been hampered by a notable lack of customizability. The platform faces challenges when integrated into a broader manufacturing environment, especially where existing external systems serve as the primary data source.

Instead of achieving smooth integration, we frequently find ourselves navigating unnecessary obstacles just to make workflows operate as intended. This has resulted in negative feedback from end users and has hindered adoption.

One clear example of this issue is the difficulty in escalating an issue to a work request once the CMMS system is fully integrated. Rather than having a straightforward connection, we are required to create extra, redundant forms simply to connect Poka with our internal systems.

For the platform to be truly enterprise-ready, the Poka team should provide greater flexibility in considering feature suggestions and enable more customization for individual customer environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Thank you so much Ben for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review. We really appreciate your perspective.

It’s great to hear that Poka’s intuitive UI, flexible access to content, and data visualization capabilities have helped support a smooth rollout and drive real visibility and accountability on the shop floor. We’re especially glad the AI-assisted work instruction tools are helping reduce documentation effort and equipment downtime.

We also value your candid feedback around customization and integrations in complex enterprise environments. Insights like these help us better understand how Poka is experienced alongside existing systems and workflows.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and for your continued partnership.
