At the start, there was a learning curve on both sides when it came to understanding our data structure and making sure the Pecan team understood how our industry works. I like how Pecan helps us in modeling our data to prevent fraud accurately. The team and our weekly calls are super helpful, making sure we are on the right direction. The portal and AI assistant also assist us with our SQL queries and more, reducing the time required to prepare data and integrate our product with theirs. It generally makes our work streamlined, with almost zero mistakes, saving valuable time spent on fixing errors. The integration with our CRM was simple, as they handled all the work related to it. The tool handles complex modeling tasks quite efficiently, processing a wide variety of data fields and supporting an almost unlimited number of parameters. I found the accuracy to be impressive, even after just a few iterations. Running different scenarios and quickly iterating through various versions is straightforward. It's also very clear which parameters have a significant impact on forecasting accuracy and which are less critical, which is helpful when discussing results with stakeholders. The team has been exceptionally available at all hours and acted as true partners, not only guiding us in using the tool but also engaging thoughtfully with our business and specific needs. There is still progress to be made when it comes to interpreting results for actions, such as understanding coefficients. We found that manipulating data within the tool using the AI agent was not any easier for us than simply handling it ourselves in SQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Above all else, Pecan has been deeply committed to our success with the product. They have been consistently available to assist and consult with us on how to improve our use of the product across both current and future projects.

The customer service has been excellent.

Additionally, the model-building process speeds up our ability to produce predictive models for key business initiatives. In situations where our Team doesn’t have the bandwidth to spend weeks building a predictive model, the Pecan product allows us to create models much more quickly when time is limited. I would like to see an additional interface option to better see all of my dataset options outside of the chat prompt, but this is just a nice-to-have. Providing multiple ways to ensure all relevant data is selected, both by chat prompt and a visual layout would make it easier to ensure that all relevant data points for a model are properly included. I like how simple Pecan is to use, set up, and understand results. It's also really flexible whenever I want to predict new features or change some of the settings. Pecan basically replaces the need of having a data science department, which is a huge plus. The initial setup was easy, especially with their native connection with BigQuery. If there is any downside, it would be the initial learning curve. As with any powerful machine learning platform, there’s a depth of capability that takes time to fully understand and apply. I like Pecan because it helps our analytics teams move faster by abstracting away the effort and domain expertise needed to build and deploy machine learning models. Pecan is very a very straight forward end-to-end predictive model deployment tool. We have been using Pecan for 3 months now, and nearing our first production model for demand forecasting. I'm pleased to say that their support and pro enablement team is a 10/10. Great people with great domain knowledge and very focused on business value solutions to help you expedite your experiments and have something in production as quick as possible.
