**What do you like best about Paycor?**

The recruiting and on-boarding features are my favorites.
 1.	Increased Applicant Reach
The Paycor Recruiting platform significantly boosts the number of applicants per job posting. It automatically distributes listings across multiple job boards, including:
o	Indeed
o	ZipRecruiter
o	LinkedIn
o	Glassdoor
o	The company website
Currently, we only post to Indeed, so this expansion will greatly enhance our visibility.
2.	AI-Driven Job Descriptions
The platform features an AI-powered job description builder that incorporates SEO keywords tailored to each platform. This optimization typically leads to higher engagement with job listings.
3.	Enhanced Communication Tools
One standout feature is the ability to communicate with applicants via email and text directly within the platform.
o	Texting has proven particularly effective in increasing response rates and improving candidate engagement.
4.	Seamless HR Integration
Integration with Paycor’s HR system allows applicant data and resumes to transfer automatically, streamlining the onboarding process.
o	This also improves team-wide visibility, enabling other LPC users to monitor applicant progress more efficiently.
5.	Digital Application Process
Applicants will be able to complete a digital application online, eliminating the need for paper copies to be submitted onsite. This simplifies and accelerates the application experience.
6.	Smart Sourcing Feature
We will have access to Smart Sourcing, an AI-driven tool that proactively reaches out to passive candidates and invites them to apply for our open positions.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

The customer support and service leave much to be desired. I haven't had much luck with the chat feature or when calling the support line. The representatives are difficult to understand, and I often get transferred repeatedly between different departments. Instead of providing direct assistance, they usually just send a link to an article about fixing the issue. Getting an answer to a question can sometimes take days or even weeks.

The platform has helped us reach more applicants and offers AI-driven job descriptions, which makes the process more efficient. The enhanced communication tools and digital application process have made hiring quicker and easier overall.

Paycor is a great system overall — very organized, modern, and efficient once you get the hang of it. It helps streamline payroll, reporting, and communication across departments, and its tools for performance and talent development are a real plus. However, it’s important to remember that employees — not just administrators — need time to learn and adjust to the system. With the right training and support, Paycor can be a real game-changer for any organization.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I’ve submitted feedback directly to Paycor for a few improvements, and while their team is responsive, I’m disappointed that the custom fields under People Settings are still not working properly. It’s a key feature that would make tracking and reporting much easier. They did confirm that they’re working on it, so I’m hopeful it will be resolved soon.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything is streamlined, but hiccups do occur from time to time. I usually try to figure things out on my own, and if I can’t, I reach out to Paycor for guidance. They’re generally helpful and responsive. Overall, Paycor is an excellent system, but employees and managers need time to learn and adapt — not just administrators. With continued improvements and training support, it has great potential to meet an organization’s long-term HR and performance goals.

I like how Paycor easily calculates my work hours, especially when sometimes I calculate them wrong and don't keep track of it. It helps me keep track of my work hours, how much I am paid, and retrieving my check stubs. I value putting in my PTO hours the most. It's very easy and simple to use, and finding out information is easy as well with their help center.

What I liked most about Paycor was its ease of use and clean layout. From the moment I logged in, everything was clearly organized, which made it easy to navigate and find what I needed without wasting time. Whether I was handling payroll tasks, viewing employee information, or managing time-off requests, the interface felt intuitive and efficient. It was designed with the user in mind, which helped simplify what could have been complex HR functions. What I disliked about Paycor was that, although the platform was generally easy to use, some of the more detailed functions—like reporting or customization—felt limited or less intuitive. **What do you like best about Paycor?**

I enjoy being able to easily log in and log all of my hours for my work week.  The software is easy to navigate and simple to read through.  I use it daily and never have any issues logging in.  The software has many features I am sure I haven't even utilized yet, but I know they are there for if I need them.  I work with a broad range of people of different ages, and nobody ever has any problems getting used to the software and using it correctly.  The period requirement for a password reset is also something I like, as it shows that safety is a priority.  The fact that my hours can be logged virtually with no time sheets is also very helpful in keeping all of my information organized and in one location.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I don't personally "dislike" anything about Paycor.  However, I have heard instances where co-workers or other acquaintances struggle with receiving good customer service representatives, as well as issues with security break ins or log in issues.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to manually write out a time sheet for my job anymore.  I can simply log onto Paycor and easily type in all my hours from there.  It saves me the hassle of remembering where I last placed my time sheet.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

Paycor is our first HRIS, so the process has been a lot to work through. We use it every day for things like onboarding, but there are a lot of attachments with Paycor that make it nearly a one-stop shop, which is great. I have found some of their resource tools excellent for solving quick, simple problems. For basic HCM, it is fairly easy to use as well. They are always adjusting their features and seem to be interested in always creating a better user experience. Their recruiting module has been great and customizable for our needs. Our sales representative was very hands on and available during implementation, which did not go smoothly, but he provided as much support as possible.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

Paycor's customer support team is not great. I find myself in situations where I know as much as, or more than, their support advocates. This makes it challenging when I am working through a very complex problem and cannot find someone who can assist. A smaller issue is that the different pieces of Paycor can be choppy when switching from Recruiting to HCM to Paths, as they are all clearly items that have been bolted on post-creation. They all function well, but they are visibly different systems, which means there is no continuity across them.

Onboarding and workforce management was a massive issue for our company as we did not have an HRIS beforehand. Both pieces have made it much easier to have a set onboarding process with the hiring managers involved at the right stages and with all the right documentation. It has been wonderful.

Paycor has changed a lot for the better. I have used Paycor for about 4 years. There are so many opportunities to learn the system with thee training module or monthly product updates. They want you to be empowered to use the system to it’s full potential. They are also open to hearing your thoughts and ideas on what they can do better. I really love the ease of using the system and the support I have with just  click of a button.

LMS is better but more in depth training would help.

Seems they are solving recruiting issues by adding smart sourcing to their platform.  That will benefit in us having to do less of the heavy lifting in recuiting.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

Since we de-activated our Paycor account, we ran into multiple issues. Their system continued to send out to my organization previously auto-scheduled reports up to a full YEAR after we deactivated our account and the Paycor support team told us that those reports would stop. The result? Our organization was receiving people data from TWO HCM systems, and Paycor simply couldn't get it figured out for an extended period of time.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

When Paycor support tells a client something they need to execute what they say. If they say that your account is deactivated and the data in their system is no longer available, their platform should NOT auto distribute reports to old customers. The trust was completely breached. 

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer use Paycor due to the size of our organization. When our company was far smaller Paycor was able to get the job done for us.

I like the HR side where i can book time off but also see who else in my time if off.

Horrible customer service, bad setup, the system doesn't do what it is designed to do, extremely long waiting time for support, issues take weeks to get resolved. The initial setup was extremely difficult, and at the end, it wasn't even set up correctly. The implementation team rushed through everything and would not listen to our needs.

I like how easy Paycor is to use as an all-in-one HRIS system. I appreciate how the system talks with itself, which means when we ask it to do something, it just does it. For example, with timekeeping, if an employee clocks in on the computer and then moves to hardware, there's no wait time. Also, the initial setup was very easy, which I really liked.

I use Paycor as an all-in-one HRIS system that solves FMLA issues. I like its ease of use and how seamlessly it handles timekeeping, ensuring no wait time when employees switch devices.

I dislike the inability to update my time in Paycor myself, which often leads to complications when I log in and it fails to record my punch, prompting a missed punch report. Additionally, if a double punch occurs, I cannot correct it myself, necessitating administrative intervention. I haven't found one yet, we are very dissatisfied with this company.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

We had to move to Paycor because our previous provider was purchased by them.  The implementation was rushed and we were not consulted much during that stage.  Then within a month and a 1/2 we are told we have to start using them.  Their system didn't fit our needs and now it is taking us longer to process our payroll entries, we still don't have a working G/L upload and it has been 6 months.  We also do not have a working Workers Comp report and our feeds to our providers are not up and running.  Every mistake we have found that they have done with our employees, they want us to fix and do not take ownership of it.  During implementation, you have 1 team, then they move you to another team for 6 months, then you get an advocate, but have to go through their support.  Unfortunately, their support has no idea how your system was set up and you end up going round and round and not getting an answer or help.  Their garnishment services take 2 weeks to enter and they don't send the checks out till a week after the payroll is run instead of sending it out with all the other checks they for funds they withheld.  Very dissatisfied and looking for another company.  We had a potential data breach and there turn around time was weeks, instead of immediately to try to protect the integrity of our employee's data.
When we told them we were leaving, they wanted us to sign an agreement to close the accounts, but once you do that, you loose access to make any necessary corrections after that is submitted, so we waited till everything was complete, then signed with them and they continued to bill us even though we gave them written notice that we were terminating their services.  
Stay clear of this company.

They are creating problems for us, it is not a benefit at all.  It was taking us longer to process payrolls and we had so many more issues with our employees than ever before.

It is a massive improvement on our previous software. I like the phone app - very easy to use. I haven't had to use customer support or actually implement Paycor so I cannot comment on those specifics. I do use it almost daily though, and it causes a lot less frustration that some of our other softwares.

Website is a little bit hard to navigate, would definitely prefer a different interface - but it is not the worst thing I have ever used.

Paycor basically trakcs my pay, my time off and scheduling. Again, the cell phone app makes this a breeze - I always forget to book time off so being able to do that on the go is great.

Analytics would be great if you could choose the options you want to see in the reporting. For instance, we have non-paid workers that use our time and attendance and we would like to see what our analytics would look like without them and with them.

Less phone calls to HR. The associates can log on their app and see their attendance points and PTO balances. The associates have more options to communicate and change their own information in the system. When they do it notifies payroll so they can make any local tax changes.

I find the software to be user friendly, our managers have an easy time figuring out what they need to do in the system.

I find Paycor's customer service to be lacking, each person has a different answer or you get routed to another location and have to keep repeating yourself.  The system can't take into account future time off accruals for an employee to see what their balance of time will be on that day unless they try taking more time off and seeing what it will be.  The reporting feature I feel is a joke, I can't create my own report unless I start with a template in the new reporting area.  There are reports that we need as a company that don't really use a template per say.

Never really seem to know what is being worked on and how it is fixing.  Get told to put it into the product ideas and a lot of the same ideas are there and they never seem to get looked at or even considered.

Chat support has not been accurate or thorough. Wait time to call in with problems needs to be shortened and need more employees fluent with the English language. Also, I wish Paycor would communicate better about changes or updates in the functions. It would be great to have a point person on the Paycor team that we could communicate with for problems.

Paycor offers a wide range of products that can all be used from the same platform. The interconnectivity is good until it is not.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

Paycor's support is pretty much the worst I have ever experienced with any software provider. A lot of the module's are cumbersome. A major draw back is the fact that many of the modules require what I would call universal configuration but that might not fit your business case. For example time off and scheduling might be managed by one person and performance reviews another but an employee can only have one "manager" in the system. Implementation was also the very worst experience I have ever had in my life. We have spent the past year undoing configuration settings because the implementation team did not take the time to understand our business. Lastly integrations take an incredibly long time to accomplish for no apparent reason.

Paycor helps with recuirting and onboarding in an effective way. Beyond that it creates more problems then it solves.

Paycor is one of the easiest systems to learn how to use! I have been in my role in Talent Acquisition for 3.5 years and trained three different individuals on how to use the software. Each one has made comments about easy it is and raves about the different automation features such a email and texting templates, offer letter templates, and  thank you letters!

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

One thing I wish Paycor would improve is the reporting capabilities. Right now, it can be difficult to retrieve the data you want because the reports are only customizable to a certain extent. It makes recruiting metrics frustrating to pull but there are work arounds to getting what you need if you’re willing to do a little extra work outside the system.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycor has played an essential role in helping us measure our time to fill for specific job titles, departments, etc. We’re also able to target which areas of the company - we have 82 branches across the Midwest - struggle the most with recruiting and can then collaborate with managers in the area to determine what the root cause might be behind the difficulty in backfilling.
