Where do I begin? The UI/UX is clunky and seems to be slapped on top of their 'old system. The integrations with our 401k and HSA vendors break randomly, including not sending very important data over to those vendors. It lags or logs you out randomly. The pricing is clunky and they will nickle and dime you, and then try to sell you NEW things when the old ones do not work. Support is a joke. I have had to call multiple times for a simple issue, or when something is broken, and then it 'fixes itself'. There is no AI assistance within, or their sold 'Analytics' addon will randomly not work or not match data from other reports. Do not use Paycor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having easy access to paystub information and miscellaneous information like PTO accrual. I was just submitting PTO request the other day and saw the "Run PTO Report" option. After viewing the report I saw that my company had the incorrect PTO accrual rate set to my account. The report allowed me to notify HR/ my manager of the problem to get it resolved. There is a simple dashboard that highlights all the normal functions, but some of the better features, like the previously mentioned PTO accrual report, are somewhat hidden if you don't know where to look. I also had issues with my account setup when I was first hired to this company, but I am unsure if that is due to the restructuring of the company, resulting in different Paycor account logins that need to be managed, or if there was something behind the scenes causing errors. But I was unable to do the basic onboarding ahead of time as the company requested. I had to sit with HR and do it on my first day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Paycor to track my time worked, stay updated with news from work, and see my schedule. Paycor makes it easy for me to submit my timesheet and keep track of my hours at work. I like the connection it gives us, as I am able to see the awards given to all employees in the company, which makes us as a whole feel closer together. Sometimes when putting in my hours, there are several different codes on my timesheet that I do not quite understand. It gets confusing because there are three lines where I can add time, and sometimes the line on top is greyed out, so I can't use it and have to put my time on the second line. I do like the employee milestone feature in Paycor. I love being able to get to know people at the company, so seeing when they have a birthday or are celebrating years at the company is always really fun. I think this kind of thing builds employee engagement and team building, especially in a large organization like the one I work at, which has 17 schools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do think the site is a bit clunky. The app is definitely clunky. The way everything is stacked, even on the desktop and laptop version, makes it hard to configure things the way I want. Everything's in boxes, and while you can move them around, I can never get it configured the way I want. Something more interactive, with a panel that lights up or calls your attention to different areas, would be helpful because it's hard to figure out where my benefits are since they're hidden in places you wouldn't think to look. I like that I don't have to bother HR to get stuff I need. I appreciate being able to see my paychecks all in one spot and not having to file them in a paper cabinet anymore. It's convenient that I no longer have to receive paper paystubs, and I can get all my tax information from one website. Setting up Paycor was simple, just creating a username and password. Sometimes it can be hard to find benefits. I'm not sure if that is a Paycor issue or my HR not putting the information in correctly. I try to find information on my 401k plan, matching, and contributions, but cannot find anything on what my company offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Paycor is the 1-on-1s feature. The customizable meeting templates make it easy to structure weekly check-ins with my manager, document key discussion points, and refer back to previous conversations. I especially appreciate being able to view my responses from the prior week in a drop-down beneath each question, which helps me track progress and maintain continuity from one meeting to the next.

The ability to review and export previous notes as a PDF is also extremely helpful when preparing for quarterly and annual performance reviews. Rather than trying to reconstruct accomplishments, feedback, and development topics from memory, I can reference a clear record of my discussions throughout the year.

I’m also a big fan of the Time Off feature in the Paycor mobile app. It makes requesting time off quick, easy, and convenient, especially when I’m away from my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One area I find less intuitive is the process for creating quarterly objectives within the Performance tracking feature. The workflow can feel somewhat clunky and more complicated than necessary, which makes it harder to quickly create, update, and manage objectives.

I also find the experience inconsistent between the Paycor website and mobile app. For example, requesting time off through the app is quick and straightforward, but the same feature can be difficult to locate on the website. At the same time, the website includes several resources and capabilities that are not available in the app.

I like how user-friendly Paycor is and I also enjoy using the mobile app. It's simple and allows me to quickly clock in and out, especially when I'm traveling for client visits. If I miss a punch, I can easily request a change without jumping through hoops, which I really appreciate. Paycor makes it easy to track my time off and pay stubs, which simplifies my work routine. I believe Paycor could have some issues with approving the timesheets. Sometimes, I will approve it, and then my supervisor is unable to see it on her end, or I'm unable to approve it. And I have to approve it multiple times. I'm not sure if that's a user error, but I think it would be beneficial to take a look into it just so people are not having to approve timesheets multiple times. I really like how Paycor shows me when I'm getting paid and provides a breakdown of my payments and taxes. It's super easy to clock in and out, and I find Paycor easy to use and learn in general. I also appreciate being able to see my PTO, and I love how easy it is to access important information related to me and my banking details. Setting it up was very easy too. Maybe fixing the slowness of clocking in would be great. When I click on the tabs to clock in, it takes a minute for each tab to pull up, or it freezes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Paycor to be a good time tracking system, and the menu options on the computer are much more user-friendly than the keypad. It's very accurate on my time sheet and makes tracking my hours during the pay period convenient. The tracking of PTO and sick leave is very helpful for planning my time off. Access via the computer is the best option as it helps me keep better track of my time, overtime, as well as lunch and breaks. From time to time the computer version freezes and I have to reload the page. The pad in the hallway is more difficult to remember clock in and clock out times, and the scrolling options could be reduced.
