About half the time when I clock in or out on my phone instead of my computer, it does not record the punch. Sometimes when I clock out for lunch and then come back half an hour later to clock back in, it is still processing my earlier punch. It's complicated to check the time card and then report a missed punch. It should be possible to report a missed punch from the time card page. Sometimes when I try to clock in from my phone, it says my username and password are not valid. More than once, it has told me I do not have an account with Paycor when I tried to sign in on my desk computer. In the past, vacation/APTO/sick time has randomly disappeared. It is very easy to make a mistake when requesting time off, and it can be hard to fix the mistake if you make one, especially if you are working from your phone, not a desktop. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I guess Paycor lets our managers do scheduling and keep track of work hours. We use it to clock in and out and keep track of vacation/sick/APTO time. ### 2. I also like that I have the ability to access my information from anywhere with the appropriate credentials. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** This may not be a huge deal, but I do wish that the PTO balance showed the exact amount. For example, it will show 17.21 instead of 17.2137. I like that I receive my direct deposit checks 2 days early; however, I really dislike that I can' t see the pay details until Friday (our actual payday). I previously mentioned that I do like the simplicity of the home screen but I feel like there is a lot of unnecessary info displayed there. I'm aware that there are customization options available to me but to be honest, I haven't really messed around with that much. I also wish it provided your total number of hours for the day as you move along. I'd like to see the exact number of minutes/hours I've been here even before clocking out for a break of the end of the day. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was recently able to easily access my info and submit time off for bereavement after the passing of a loved one while not at work. Being able to update tax documents, submit pto requests, and effortlessly refer back to my pay information is very helpful for someone like me. I am constantly on the go with a brain that is firing quickly. Many thoughts and questions pop up that encourage me to pull up my Paycor app at random times; having that complete info at my fingertips is important to me. ### 3. We value some of their app and tracking features because there's some ease of use there. Additionally, their general payroll and HR modules provide some benefit. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** It's challenging. It was really challenging. I think we got okay support, but it was actually a very challenging setup to really figure out how to use. I think in general, they're just not a super robust solution and they're not very innovative. And that really comes into play with some of their support when there's issue management and just takes a very long time. It feels like a lower end product kinda you get what you pay for. I was just submitting PTO request the other day and saw the "Run PTO Report" option. After viewing the report I saw that my company had the incorrect PTO accrual rate set to my account. The report allowed me to notify HR/ my manager of the problem to get it resolved. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** There is a simple dashboard that highlights all the normal functions, but some of the better features, like the previously mentioned PTO accrual report, are somewhat hidden if you don't know where to look. I also had issues with my account setup when I was first hired to this company, but I am unsure if that is due to the restructuring of the company, resulting in different Paycor account logins that need to be managed, or if there was something behind the scenes causing errors. But I was unable to do the basic onboarding ahead of time as the company requested. The app is definitely clunky. The way everything is stacked, even on the desktop and laptop version, makes it hard to configure things the way I want. Everything's in boxes, and while you can move them around, I can never get it configured the way I want. I use the general ledger report specifically to help balance payroll journal entries each month. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** How long it takes to get a new location onboarded. We have had a new location for two months and still have to manually load in payroll for it. I also don't like that they are removing custom reports. Custom report templates are way better and more user friendly than the overly cumbersome report builder options. There is no way to mirror the custom templates to match the report builder options. I've tried over and over again. It's also difficult to get a resolution quickly. Requiring 8 hours to be manually entered by scrolling through a list of numbers is tedious. in general, 8 hours is a work day. I love using Paycor Recruit because it allows us to run background checks for future employees and helps weed out those who are not a good fit for our company. The ability to reduce turnover rates and keep track of everything for employees and HR is really helpful. I love the Knowledge Center, and overall, my experience with Paycor and its resources has been great. The initial setup was very easy and understandable. Paycor has broadened our scope of capabilities beyond just payroll with ADP, allowing us to use it for recruiting too. Simply put, Paycor is GREAT, and I have nothing but great things to say about it. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** I love the Knowledge Center however some more interactive activities and modules could be useful for trial and errors before actually completing tasks on our own. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paycor reduces turnover rates, helps track everything for employees and HR, runs background checks, and enhances recruiting.
