About half the time when I clock in or out on my phone instead of my computer, it does not record the punch. Sometimes when I clock out for lunch and then come back half an hour later to clock back in, it is still processing my earlier punch. It's complicated to check the time card and then report a missed punch. It should be possible to report a missed punch from the time card page. Sometimes when I try to clock in from my phone, it says my username and password are not valid. More than once, it has told me I do not have an account with Paycor when I tried to sign in on my desk computer. In the past, vacation/APTO/sick time has randomly disappeared. It is very easy to make a mistake when requesting time off, and it can be hard to fix the mistake if you make one, especially if you are working from your phone, not a desktop. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I guess Paycor lets our managers do scheduling and keep track of work hours. We use it to clock in and out and keep track of vacation/sick/APTO time. ### 2. I also like that I have the ability to access my information from anywhere with the appropriate credentials. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** This may not be a huge deal, but I do wish that the PTO balance showed the exact amount. For example, it will show 17.21 instead of 17.2137. I like that I receive my direct deposit checks 2 days early; however, I really dislike that I can' t see the pay details until Friday (our actual payday). I previously mentioned that I do like the simplicity of the home screen but I feel like there is a lot of unnecessary info displayed there. I'm aware that there are customization options available to me but to be honest, I haven't really messed around with that much. I also wish it provided your total number of hours for the day as you move along. I'd like to see the exact number of minutes/hours I've been here even before clocking out for a break of the end of the day. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was recently able to easily access my info and submit time off for bereavement after the passing of a loved one while not at work. Being able to update tax documents, submit pto requests, and effortlessly refer back to my pay information is very helpful for someone like me. I am constantly on the go with a brain that is firing quickly. Many thoughts and questions pop up that encourage me to pull up my Paycor app at random times; having that complete info at my fingertips is important to me. ### 3. We value some of their app and tracking features because there's some ease of use there. Additionally, their general payroll and HR modules provide some benefit. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** It's challenging. It was really challenging. I think we got okay support, but it was actually a very challenging setup to really figure out how to use. I think in general, they're just not a super robust solution and they're not very innovative. And that really comes into play with some of their support when there's issue management and just takes a very long time. It feels like a lower end product kinda you get what you pay for. I use the general ledger report specifically to help balance payroll journal entries each month. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** How long it takes to get a new location onboarded. We have had a new location for two months and still have to manually load in payroll for it. I also don't like that they are removing custom reports. Custom report templates are way better and more user friendly than the overly cumbersome report builder options. There is no way to mirror the custom templates to match the report builder options. I've tried over and over again. It's also difficult to get a resolution quickly. That is very annoying. Being able to see available PTO quickly is good also. I am not aware of integrations, performance, pricing or support available. AI everywhere is awful. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Entering PTO requests are not as easy as they should be. Requiring 8 hours to be manually entered by scrolling through a list of numbers is tedious. in general, 8 hours is a work day. It should not be required to scroll through that list for every entry. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's really not solving much that I can see other than being able to access certain information easily. The one newer feature that is good is the ability to create my own landing page with the items I use. It used to contain all kinds of things that were useless to me. ### 15. Any issues we may have had, Paycor did solve. One thing I really like is that it's up to the staff to put all of their information in, so each staff member is inputting their own information. If they say there's an error or anything, it's the user themselves, and it's not solely on me and my team to input the information. That leaves less room for error than having a middle person do it. It's pretty much step by step, making sure they put the information in, and it seems to work out perfectly fine. I haven't had any staff complain about issues with Paycor. The setup was a little challenging, but I have an awesome team member who was great with assisting and getting us onboarded fully onto Paycor. She was a really, really big help, and with me being the HR manager, she had more time to move me along with the system. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Ever since Paychex took over, it's just been harder to get in contact and get things situated. When I call, the call drops or I get hung up on. The last time, I got hung up on three times, and that was really annoying. I haven't tried to call again since then. I wish there was more human interaction. I'd rather talk to a live person who can walk me through how to get to what I need instead of having me follow these steps on my own. The reports are also the one thing we have issue with. Certain reports I need are a little hard to navigate, and creating the report I actually need is tricky. I wish they were more user friendly or that someone could assist me with them. The initial setup was a little challenging too. Overall, it’s a good tool for all employees, and it’s convenient to have payroll information all in one app with an easy-to-use layout. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** I honestly didn’t see any downside; it was good to use overall. The only thing I’d suggest is having customer service that’s a bit more accessible, just in case it’s ever needed. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It’s been good to manage and use. It’s easy to request days off in advance, and I can track our paychecks as well as the time off I have available for future use. Overall, it’s very user-friendly. ### 49.
