I also like that I have the ability to access my information from anywhere with the appropriate credentials. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** This may not be a huge deal, but I do wish that the PTO balance showed the exact amount. For example, it will show 17.21 instead of 17.2137. I like that I receive my direct deposit checks 2 days early; however, I really dislike that I can' t see the pay details until Friday (our actual payday). I previously mentioned that I do like the simplicity of the home screen but I feel like there is a lot of unnecessary info displayed there. I'm aware that there are customization options available to me but to be honest, I haven't really messed around with that much. I also wish it provided your total number of hours for the day as you move along. I'd like to see the exact number of minutes/hours I've been here even before clocking out for a break of the end of the day. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was recently able to easily access my info and submit time off for bereavement after the passing of a loved one while not at work. Being able to update tax documents, submit pto requests, and effortlessly refer back to my pay information is very helpful for someone like me. I am constantly on the go with a brain that is firing quickly. Many thoughts and questions pop up that encourage me to pull up my Paycor app at random times; having that complete info at my fingertips is important to me. ### 2. We value some of their app and tracking features because there's some ease of use there. Additionally, their general payroll and HR modules provide some benefit. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** It's challenging. It was really challenging. I think we got okay support, but it was actually a very challenging setup to really figure out how to use. I think in general, they're just not a super robust solution and they're not very innovative. And that really comes into play with some of their support when there's issue management and just takes a very long time. It feels like a lower end product kinda you get what you pay for. I use the general ledger report specifically to help balance payroll journal entries each month. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** How long it takes to get a new location onboarded. We have had a new location for two months and still have to manually load in payroll for it. I also don't like that they are removing custom reports. Custom report templates are way better and more user friendly than the overly cumbersome report builder options. There is no way to mirror the custom templates to match the report builder options. I've tried over and over again. It's also difficult to get a resolution quickly. Any issues we may have had, Paycor did solve. One thing I really like is that it's up to the staff to put all of their information in, so each staff member is inputting their own information. If they say there's an error or anything, it's the user themselves, and it's not solely on me and my team to input the information. That leaves less room for error than having a middle person do it. It's pretty much step by step, making sure they put the information in, and it seems to work out perfectly fine. I haven't had any staff complain about issues with Paycor. The setup was a little challenging, but I have an awesome team member who was great with assisting and getting us onboarded fully onto Paycor. She was a really, really big help, and with me being the HR manager, she had more time to move me along with the system. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Ever since Paychex took over, it's just been harder to get in contact and get things situated. When I call, the call drops or I get hung up on. The last time, I got hung up on three times, and that was really annoying. I haven't tried to call again since then. I wish there was more human interaction. I'd rather talk to a live person who can walk me through how to get to what I need instead of having me follow these steps on my own. The reports are also the one thing we have issue with. Certain reports I need are a little hard to navigate, and creating the report I actually need is tricky. I wish they were more user friendly or that someone could assist me with them. The initial setup was a little challenging too. I also hate that they didn't do a conference this year. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Paycor for our payroll system. For the most part it's user friendly. It's fairly smooth transitioning from week to week and looking up tax information etc. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Sometimes I have trouble putting in the times and adding the client's name - if a correction needs to be made I have to delete the whole entry because it goes wacky. That takes a lot of time. It specifically meets our company's needs, and while it has taken several years to feel confident and comfortable with it because it's such a huge monster to learn, that familiarity is valuable. We genuinely like the core product. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Customer service is definitely an issue—it's a struggle to get a direct phone number to reach a Paycor employee, even when I'm working directly with someone assigned to me. The sales representative changes so often that there's no opportunity to build an ongoing relationship, meaning I have to start over with a new rep multiple times a year. The EDI feeds are another headache. They're quite messy and take forever to resolve, so much so that it makes us wary of switching insurance carriers, knowing it'll be months before everything's sorted out. It was pretty easy to implement with our team, and there are integrations with other platforms we use, like Accrue (formerly Guideline) and also BRSI. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Customer support. I definitely feel that Paycor has gone down in the quality of Customer Support. I've submitted many cases before, and it feels like it is hard to get a clear answer sometimes.
