What I like best about mParticle is..

- How it helps to organize customer data in one place instead of spreading it across multiple tools.

- Once data is coming through mParticle, it becomes much easier to understand what events are actually rising and where they are going.

- It helps maintain consistency between web, mobile and backend events..

- Another good part is the flexibility it gives in routing data. We don’t need to send everything everywhere blindly.

- We can control which events go to which destination, and that really helps in keeping things clean.

- Identity handling is also useful because users come from different devices and sessions, and mParticle helps connect those dots in a better way.

Overall, it reduces a lot of manual effort and confusion around customer data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- One thing I dislike is that the platform is still in a learning curve, especially for new users.

- At the start, it is not very easy to understand all the concepts like data planning, identities, and event flows.

- The User Interfacie also feels heavy sometimes, and finding the exact setting you need can take good amount of time.

- Also, mainly.. live stream debugging is bit tricky.

- Sometimes it feels like things are not very clearly configured, and tracking events becomes a hectic task when something goes wrong.

Small mistakes can take time to identify, especially when multiple integrations are involved.

Honestly, the user interface (at least the newer versions) is markedly improved over what I've seen before. It's not beautiful, mind you, but it's functional. And I’ll concede - the reporting is actually decent for the level of granularity offered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is where it gets painful. My biggest issue, and frankly, the one that keeps popping into my head, is the steep learning curve. They’ve layered on so many features, so many integrations, and so many complex rules, that it’s a nightmare for a mid-sized brand - let alone a smaller one - to actually use effectively. Mparticle is a multifunctional CDP tool that helps us quickly pinpoint audiences, build them with thoughtful segmentation, and publish them to where we need them to go. This year, I've also used mParticle for more than just Audience building, but also as a key tool to collect 1P data for Sweepstakes, NBCU Profile creation, ingestion of 1P data and much more. The platform seamlessly integrates with a lot of the vendors, partners or external tools we use. However, I think the #1 aspect of mParticle is it's amazing customer service team. I've been working with Molly ever since I began working at NBC/Telemundo and she's always been willing to help, while also offering easy, clear-cut solutions. Beyond Molly, the tech and support team is also always willing to help. Manny and his team are an absolute pleasure to work with, and they always feel like an extension of our internal team, which makes any implementation easy. The only part of mParticle I would say is my least favorite is the new UI, maybe it's a matter of me getting more used it but I sometimes don't feel it is as user-friendly as the past one. There are certain parts of the tool that I still need guidance on and maybe a new experience could make it feel a bit less intimidating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Moreover, mParticle’s extensive array of out-of-the-box data connectors provides seamless integration with various of our services, further enriching our data ecosystem and operational capabilities. mParticle can enhance its documentation to better cover various processes and best practices, facilitating easier setup and troubleshooting for users. The activity screen would benefit from more visual dashboards, displaying key metrics like the most frequently occurring events and projected event volumes. These improvements would provide with quicker, more actionable insights. Enhanced visual and informative interfaces would significantly boost overall data management and decision-making efficiency.
