What do you like best about Firstup?

I have enjoyed using FirstUp because of its variety of options for creating and publishing content. All of its unique capabilities have allowed me and my team to think outside the box when developing campaign ideas to engage CHRISTUS Health Associates. The platform is user-friendly and allows for a nearly seamless experience from creation to consumption of content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Firstup?

There are no major setbacks when it comes to using the FirstUp platform, but my team wishes the platform had a few capabilities. We wish we had the option to pin featured posts for specific topics and for featured posts to only be shown to those who are subscribed to the topic, even if the topic is open to everyone. We wish to have the direct delivery option for a push notification to cellular devices that is not tied to the "notification center." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Firstup?

Ease of creating and publishing content and relatively simple to tailor layout to your liking, availability of help resources, helpdesk is very responsive and knowledgeable. Photo comments are a hit! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Firstup?

I wish there were more branding options available. In Studio when working on a campaign, it is tedious to have to keep manually inputting hex codes when you are only given two options. We have a pretty robust brand color palette. I also wish there was an option to pin a post, add a banner, or add a ticker at the top of the main experience/homepage. This would be really handy during Open Enrollment in particular. It would also be helpful if creators could edit content directly within Experience, without having to go into Studio, click this and that, save, and publish. Being able to edit individual blocks/items directly from Experience would save a great deal of time. Also, we've noticed a copy/paste issue where text ends up bolded or in a completely different font style (like Arial Black instead of Arial). I think this is a known issue, though, and requires the user to click "Paste text only." Also, when manually adding audiences, sometimes we get users with a "0" next to their name instead of "1," showing they are an active, registered user. This makes creating custom audiences problematic, as we have to go through and manually confirm our lists, which, when uploading audiences of 100+ users, can be extremely time-consuming. It would also be nice to actually be able to view an embedded video within an email without being taken out of email and into Experience - it disrupts the flow of the user experience. We also have not been very satisfied with the level of turnover. It seems once we get used to one CSM, we get another, and another! (And one of our more recent support teams completely vanished on us at one point.) Finally, I wish pulling metrics wasn't such a hassle and that it was easier to find and compare data. What do you dislike about Firstup?

While Firstup is a powerful platform, one area I find challenging is the limited flexibility in customizing certain design elements and layouts. It can sometimes feel restrictive when trying to create more dynamic or visually engaging content. Additionally, the learning curve for some of the analytics features can be steep, especially for newer users who aren’t as data-savvy. What do you like best about Firstup?

It actually works for everyone. From employees in a factory to field techs working miles from the nearest office, Our Field gives everyone a voice. It’s quick to use, easy to access on the go, and doesn’t assume you’re sitting behind a desk all day. The simple translation option means we can reach our Global employee base very easily across all platforms and devices with easy to set up apps and integration into other platforms. What do you dislike about Firstup?

One of the challenges has been making sure everyone gets on board. With such a wide variety of roles across AGCO, from the factory floor to those in the field, and everything in between, not everyone naturally turns to a digital comms platform as part of their day.

What I find most frustrating about Firstup recently are the recurring glitches in Studio. These issues have made it difficult and time-consuming for our team to access analytics, often dragging on for days. The frequency and duration of these glitches have become a real challenge. What do you like best about Firstup?

Firstup allows us to easily communicate with desked and non-desked employees with ease via email, app, and intranet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Firstup?

Firstup identifies whether an employee should receive a communication via email or the app. They recently changed the app notification options to make it less likely to send a push notification and more like to just put a notification within the app. I don’t think as many employees engage with the notifications now. What do you like best about Firstup?

We are still having some issues with the search function on our internal site. However, the search function via the studio side has been great.

I also think the creation of custom distribution lists could be more intuitive - I've had a few teammates find it complicated and confusing to manage when they have lists that are constantly fluctuating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Firstup?

It would be great if FirstUp could also offer personalization to serve up personalized posts that might appeal to them, versus us having to provide that manually. It would be great if FirstUp could integrate with an AI messaging company and suggest messaging when a link is added to be shared, so a variety of messaging is presented.
