"Evet"

What do you like best?

Doing estimates! After some exploring and playing with the program, estimates are easy to do and seem understandable to the owners.

What do you dislike?

It seems like this program just takes longer than it should sometimes if you are putting a decent amount of charges in. If you want to change/update info on an appointment from the home screen, you really have to be careful how you hover over the appoint block. It seems like you have to find that "sweet spot" on the appoint or else when you click you end up highlighting half the page. Just minor inconveniences but annoying. Overall my biggest gripe other than the occasional very slow response/run time would be the search bar. It takes way too long to find a patient/owner and sometimes they don't even show up! You have to go to the extended search an type it in there.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend it overall. My favorite program was Intravet, so if given the choice I would recommend that first.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The benefits are easy refills. If a patient is on a regular medicine that doesn't change directions, you can easily print out a label with all the info needed on it.

"Too complicated"

What do you like best?

The calendar. How you can access the client/patient easily and also note their status, i.e. room they are in. Liked how the bloodwork was automatically imported and the ability to make a req form for the lab order. Callbacks were easy to locate and make.

What do you dislike?

Too complicated. Too many ways to access parts of the record. Too many areas to locate downloaded records or client communications. Entering a new client and patient takes too long. Having the phone and address and what not in its own section that needs to be saved is not beneficial in an ER situation. Not user friendly. Everyone was doing things a different way. Hard to learn and hard to train.

Too much, needs to be simplified. Not an easy program to figure out. Time consuming.

Callbacks are nice, making sure to reach out to check in with clients.

"It's good, it's cheap, but it's not all the bells and whistles."

What do you like best?

Probably the best thing about this software is that clients can log in from home and see their accounts without having to go through a portal.

What do you dislike?

Reporting is kind of a pain in the rear.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The single largest benefit of this software is that every client gets their own login to the website, and can see exactly what the hospital puts in about their patients. All labs, notes, history, etc. So if they aren't sure when their animal got surgery, or a vaccine, or was diagnosed with something, it's right there.

"Easily manageable "

What do you like best?

How easy it is to input information

Cloud based; if you don't have time to complete records prior to leaving, you can always complete them at home

What do you dislike?

It wouldn't notify you of multiple accounts

eVet support is very eager and willing to solve many problems right as you're discussing with them via chat or by phone. Prior to my company switching from eVet Practice, I felt it was very easily navigated through, easy to get referrals out the door with their medical record in hand.

"Evet practice review for mobile use"

What do you like best?

I can enter all client, patient, invoice and payment information while on the road verses waiting until we get back to the clinic.

What do you dislike?

Not mobile friendly, easier to use laptop

Immediate invoicing to get to clients. Good reports to run and manage practice.

"Managing Made Easy"

What do you like best?

This system works great for all billing, inventory, and scheduling purposes for a practice.

What do you dislike?

One downside is that the system only keeps track of inventory for one location which is difficult for an ambulatory practice.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We can easily run reports on eVet that help keep us on track and predict our productivity.

"Happyish with new online based system."

What do you like best?

The whiteboard feature is excellent, allowing you to know where all your patients in the building are, and to have better communication.

What do you dislike?

There are a lot of extra steps to do very common tasks. The invoicing system is hard to comprehend visually.

Communication issues, hospital flow has been optimized.

"it was always acessable and user friendly"

What do you like best?

can be used from multiple locations. easy to learn. very user friendly.

What do you dislike?

cloud based. a hard wired server would be more secure for medical documents.

being able to see what employee does what creates large learning opportunities. in computer notes make documenting get done properly and on time.

"enjoyed using evet"

Recieving purchase orders- if you have a negative quantity the system could not figure difference btw what u recieved in and the negative amount

"Evet review"

What do you like best?

The ability to do almost anything. Use this for medical charting, scheduling, inventory, running reports, client communication, etc.

What do you dislike?

Slow connections, things not working. I feel like a lot of items need some bugs worked out. Saves passwords, logs wrong employee in/out.

Make use of their customer service for questions.

Inventory. We ate figuring out how to best keep track of inventory.
