**What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

What I like best about Covetrus vRxPro is how easy it makes the prescription process for both our team and our clients. The platform streamlines prescription approvals, helps reduce phone calls and manual paperwork, and allows us to quickly review and authorize medications. It integrates well into our daily workflow, saves valuable staff time, and provides clients with a convenient way to order the medications and preventives their pets need. Overall, it helps us deliver a more efficient and positive experience for both our team and our patients.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

While Covetrus vRxPro has been a helpful tool overall, there are times when certain prescription requests can take a few extra steps to process, and some areas of the platform could be more intuitive for new users. However, once the team becomes familiar with the system, it integrates well into the daily workflow and provides significant time savings.

Covetrus vRxPro helps us manage prescription requests more efficiently by reducing the amount of time our staff spends on phone calls, manual prescription processing, and follow-up communication. **What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

I love that Covetrus vRxPro® is extremely easy to use and navigate, and none of our team have a hard time utilizing it. It's a trusted supplier that we can count on to provide quality products to our clients. Also, it helps us to retain some of the revenue that we lose to third-party pharmacies with pricing that is equivalent to other online retailers. The platform also assists us in helping clients place orders, which is really helpful for our older or non-tech-savvy clients. Ease of use and good pricing are definitely standout features for us.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

Sometimes the shipping times are longer than our clients expect. We have had some communication issues in the past but this has improved as of late.

**What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

I really like Covetrus vRxPro® because it is really easy to use. It's a convenient online platform where we can send recommendations for products directly from the room, and clients can order off the website effortlessly. We can prescribe medications that get shipped directly to their home, and they can subscribe to auto ship, which makes it incredibly convenient. It's also great for finding and getting hard-to-find or compounded products. The integration with our Cornerstone system is fantastic because it updates our records and helps us provide better medicine. Price comparison with Chewy is competitive, which I think is wonderful because it keeps some of the business in-house. The platform has been a great addition to our clinic, offering a lot of good tools.

**What problems is Covetrus vRxPro® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Covetrus vRxPro® is easy to use and convenient. It lets us send product recommendations and prescriptions that patients can order directly online, with home delivery or auto-ship options. **What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

Covetrus vRxPro is super user friendly.  It has allowed us to approve RX requests and renewals quickly all at one time.  Easy to navigate. Our phone call volume has been reduced, allowing us more time to answer more urgent calls for appointments and annuals visits.  We can see that clients and their pets are staying compliant on preventions, can see product has shipped.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

The only thing I can think of would be the clients that have called and let me know that they prescription has not been shipped and they don't know why, even though it should tell them why. Also, there's been several times where we have deleted items from our cart and double checked our cart before checkout, and we end up being charged for it and it gets sent to us anyway.

**What problems is Covetrus vRxPro® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Call volume for refilling prescriptions and products that we do not carry in office gives us more options for clients.

**What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

I really like the write back feature in Covetrus vRxPro® because it goes right into the medical record. This saves me time since I don’t have to go back and add it later.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

Sometimes it can be difficult to look up prescriptions, like dog foods or prescription diets. For instance, if you search using 'science diet', it doesn't come up, you have to input 'hills'. I'd also like to be able to see pricing in advance, especially when I have clients next to me who want to know if it's cheaper than other options like Chewy. Adding new patients could be faster too, as I often have to do it manually.

**What problems is Covetrus vRxPro® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Covetrus vRxPro® for most of my prescriptions. The write back feature is great because it automatically updates the medical records, so I don't have to add it later.

**What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

I really enjoy Covetrus vRxPro® for its ease of use and the way it automatically inputs into the client's account, making it simple for us to see what was ordered and when. The initial setup was seamless. I also love the online support; my online help Jamie Green is amazing and always takes care of whatever I need.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

We have a lot of patients that are on prescription foods due to their allergies, and one of the companies we use is Rayne Food. A few of their diets are not offered on Covetrus vRxPro®. I also wish we could offer better discounts for using our online pharmacy versus the leading competitors.

Covetrus vRxPro® reduces the need for high medication stock, allowing owners to order online. It seamlessly updates client accounts with orders, enhancing tracking and convenience.

**What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

The ease of filling scripts as well as being able to look back through the history of a client is definitely a pro for vRxPro.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

I dislike the fact that I can go through and make notes and change the status of scripts on my end; however, if a client calls customer service, the answer the client gets is the script is still waiting on the clinic. I feel the customer service rep should be able to say the clinic has noted that an exam is needed or should be able to give the information from any note that has been entered.

**What problems is Covetrus vRxPro® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with keeping certain medications not often used in stock without expiration dates coming due. By being able to write scripts for clients through vRxPro, the clients are able to schedule auto shipments and not worry about whether or not we have the particular medication in stock at the clinic.

**What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

The user interface is easily understandable. I love that I am able to use a backdoor into a client's account to help them with orders or prescriptions. Approving prescriptions couldn't be easier with this platform!

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

The one thing I have had difficulty with in the past is admin controls of the clinic's profile. I wish it were easier to add and delete doctors. We also use a single account for our entire platform rather than having different accounts for each doctor and CSR. I wish when it came to account settings, there were options that made this type of management easier.

**What problems is Covetrus vRxPro® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving clients ease to order medications online and have them autoshipped. We are able to retain more clients within our own pharmacy rather than have them outsource to companies like Chewy.

I like that I can log on and help the client with Covetrus vRxPro®. It's also great that I can track prescriptions for clients, especially if they are elderly or not very tech-savvy. The initial setup was pretty easy and problem-free.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

Pricing. I think the pricing needs to be better. Chewy and other pharmacies are just so much cheaper on many things.

I use Covetrus vRxPro® for our in-clinic pharmacy, making it easier to provide medications and look up compound meds. It helps manage difficult patients' meds and prevents sticker shock for owners. I can also log in to assist clients and track prescriptions for those less tech-savvy.

It makes it easy to quickly create and approve script requests for patients, bringing more revenue into our practice rather than clients ordering from external pharmacies like Chewy.

The feature to "create another" script after making an initial never works. It glitches and requires getting out of the patient file and searching for the patient again to create another script recommendation.

It helps us regain some of the revenue we would have lost from outside online pharmacies, and allows us to offer products that we don't carry in clinic, which means we have fewer inventory items to keep in stock.

Declining and changing client requests is a little frustrating. If there was a way to notify clients that there has been a change to a request before sending a declined notice, we would receive a lot less angry phone calls.

Covetrus vRxPro is helping to increase client compliance with purchasing medications, especially monthly preventive medications. The performance reviews help us to see how we are performing each month. The special pricing / discounts on preventions help create a more affordable option for clients.

I like the fact that Covetrus vRxPro® writes back to our PMS. I also appreciate being able to easily link clients and patients to the portal.

It seems like the email sent to clients for recommended medication instruction are confusing, especially for older clients. Feedback we have gotten is when clients go to order the suggested dosing is not easily found and then it asks them what mg the medication should be when they are not sure.

I like how Covetrus vRxPro® makes it easy to compare pricing and recommend prescriptions, which helps to convince clients that it's the best online ordering platform. The ability to log into clients' accounts to help with placing orders has been a big benefit, improving the way our clients value and appreciate the assistance we provide. The initial setup and training were very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

Having one login for clients that want to order from two different emails would help us out. Sometimes the husband wants to order and sometimes the wife wants to order. We have found that they are creating two accounts and this becomes confusing.

It is easy and intuitive to use. So far, have had great customer service when I needed help. Integration was simple and quick. Being able to have different tiers that meet our clients needs was great, we are a low cost clnic with low income clientele so they were able to provide a tier that met our clients needs.

That it does not integrate with our software, Ezyvet.

What I like least is the lack of control over pricing. On top of that, the cost is extremely high, which makes it hard to justify.

I find Covetrus vRxPro® to be user-friendly, particularly enjoying the ability to set up templates for SIG. This feature greatly speeds up the process of completing requested scripts, making it valuable for my practice. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be fairly easy.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

I find the limited ability to control the pricing structure of our homestore problematic. With the last platform upgrade, changing the price markup of individual items or even full categories isn't as user-friendly as it used to be.

I use Covetrus vRxPro® as our online pharmacy platform. It's user-friendly and speeds up script completion with templates for SIG, though I wish it had better pricing control options.

I like the convenience of an online store.  More and more clients are choosing to purchase online.  It is also nice for those items that we do not stock in hospital, we can send a direct purchase link to our clients.  The platform is easy to use and the integration is nice to have so we can see in our PMS what was purchased.

Out of stock items.  Clients will call us upset sometimes when they are unable to get medications for their pets.

I find Covetrus vRxPro® a great option for writing prescriptions, particularly for pet parents who prefer using an online pharmacy. It provides the convenience of delivering prescriptions through the pet parent's preferred method, making it a practical alternative to platforms like Chewy. I appreciate that the integration with Pulse makes the setup much more seamless, which simplifies our processes considerably. The write-back system with our Pulse software is highly beneficial, saving our staff significant time by reducing the workload. This feature is invaluable, as it ensures our staff can focus more on critical tasks without being bogged down by repetitive work. Additionally, one of the most important aspects is the ability for pet parents to receive the same medications we purchase through the Rx portal, ensuring they obtain the correct and non-fraudulent products, which is a major benefit in maintaining the trust and safety of our clients.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

I find that Covetrus vRxPro® could benefit from more live integration, especially concerning weight updates. It would improve the experience if changes made in our practice management software were automatically reflected in the portal. I also feel there are challenges with software variations between practices, which complicates determining the benefits of different integrations. This makes it hard to assess which practices would truly benefit from the integration, potentially leading to better options depending on the specific practice management software being used.

Covetrus vRxPro has made our prescription process much smoother. Approvals are quick, it integrates well with our PIMS, and the branded online pharmacy with autoship options has improved client compliance and revenue. The interface is straightforward, and most of our staff adapted quickly.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

The main downsides are occasional tech glitches and long hold times when calling customer support. Pricing can also be higher than third-party retailers, which sometimes leads to client pushback. Still, the time saved and the ability to keep more pharmacy sales in-house make it worth using.

streamlined our prescription approval and refill process, saving staff significant time and reducing errors. The integration with our practice management software means scripts auto-populate, client records stay updated, and we can process approvals in under a minute.

**What do you like best about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

Before vRxPro, we had a lot of clients going to other online pharmacies, we were losing out on clinic income, but since adding vRxPro, we have been able to offer our client's an online option that ships directly to their house and sometimes there are special discounts through the online store that make it easier and more affordable for them. The thing I like most as a Practice Manager is the way it writes back into out operating system so it helps keep a tab on when a rx is requested, when it is filled and imports it into our Avimark system seemlessly. I highly recommend any clinic upgrading to vRxPro! It is very easy to fill out or approve rx for clients.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

So far I have not had many issues, there was once when the wrong quantity wrote back into the system but after I brought it up the system has been correct every time.

**What problems is Covetrus vRxPro® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

vRxPro is fixing the problem of always getting clients looking for only filling at other online pharmacies. The ease of them knowing that the meds come from our Dr and our hospital gives them more peace that their information is secure. The customer service offered to them is the same customer service I deal with at the Practice Manager so I know that the client's will get the same care and understanding of a professional team that work very hard. 
The benefit to me is less filling out of online or faxed requests from other weird random pharmacies and I can just go on the vRxPro Hub and the ease of the website is truly the best I have dealt with.

some of the wording like choices like "maximum units per fill" could be replaced as it can be confusing. The list of breeds needs to be longer. Preventing an owner from making a second account would be nice.  Integration with Ezyvet would be awesome.

We switched from Vetsource to Covetrus vRxPro in order to take part in the Vetsuite program.  Vetsource wasn't an issue at all. So not much of a difference.

Ability to look up prescription and compounding options, send scripts to clients, ease of use, and simple revenue generation breakdown. Also the integration with our software (Impromed) for medical record keeping is helpful. We are on there at least daily to keep up with clients, and when we do have an issue or question, customer support is very helpful at solving our issue. It was also easy to switch from the old Covetrus pharmacy to this updated version with minimal disruption to our clients.

**What do you dislike about Covetrus vRxPro®?**

So far we haven't had too many downsides. Main one is that it isn't Chewy so client awareness isn't as high, but that's just consumer brand recognition.
