The thing I like best is definitely the speed and scale it allows for. Traditional video production is a huge time sink—you need scripts, voiceovers, filming, and editing. Elai.io cuts all of that down to almost nothing. I can go from a text document to a polished, professional video with an avatar in literally minutes. It completely removes the barrier to creating video content at volume, which is huge for things like internal training or quick marketing updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest dislike is where the AI still has some limitations, specifically around finer control and realism. While the avatars look good, they can sometimes still feel a little stiff or robotic, especially with complex emotional scripts or gestures. Also, I wish I had more granular control over the final video edit—sometimes I want to tweak the layout or design outside of the templates, and it feels a bit restrictive compared to a traditional video editor.
