Although Filmora is smooth for simple edits, it starts to feel limited once your project gets more complex. There are plenty of upsides of using Filmora over other video editing software, I will highlight my personal best features.

You do not need to worry about having a super powered computer as you do not need high system specs like you do with other video editors, which is fantastic news for people that haven't upgraded their setups in a while.

My only issue with Filmora is that the premium assets can be quite pricey and can be very overwhelming to look at, it would be great if Filmora had better filtering options so you can customize effects more efficiently.

Filmora has a large amount of free effects but I feel that more of the premium effects should be included in the base price.

The misleading details regarding credit usage on their website, compared to reality: 3x more credits for mediocre results and 50x more credits for using Veo3.

They advertise 30 credits on the site for a video, without specifying the engine. For mediocre results, it actually requires a minimum of 90 credits, and 1100 for Veo3, even though the monthly subscription only offers... 1000 credits...

What I love most is how easy it is to just jump in and start editing without feeling lost. The program is fast and efficient. Its interface is intuitive, and whether for amateurs or professionals, the quality is there. There are many tools available, and I am getting to use them all. There is an incredible number of templates available, and there are frequent updates. Wondershare Filmora is honestly one of the best video editing apps I’ve used. Even with just the basic features, you can already do a lot. One of my favorite tools is the keypoint feature—it gives me the freedom to create animations however I want, which is super fun and creative. I also really enjoy some of the built-in effects and animations; they add a nice touch to my edits.

Another thing I really appreciate is the ability to set a custom video size, which gives me more control over the final result. The AI features are also a big plus for me. I especially love the autocut tool and the AI sound generation—both are super helpful and save a lot of time. Being able to overlay images easily is another cool feature.
