What do you like best about D&B Connect?

I love D&B Optimizer's entity resolution and matching, data enrichment, data analytics, and visualization tools. We use D&B Optimizer for prospecting, lead qualification, and sales intelligence, and the tool has become integral to our enterprise and industry research along the path of our sales funnel. What do you dislike about D&B Connect?

D&B Optimizer does experience missing records and data from time to time, being fed from our central CRM. The tool also requires stringent setup and data maintenance from the start of implementation to avoid any potential issues that could arise by cross-functional teams. What do you like best about D&B Connect?

Having curated company info provided for us is incredibly helpful. We most value the DUNS numbers and hierarchies, as well as our ability to match, revise hierarchies, and easily add matching companies. We are also using Form Fill to increase matching of form recipients to existing companies. This increases data quality and reduces manual time to match people to companies later. What do you dislike about D&B Connect?

Optimizer only looks at a few standard objects to find numbers of related Salesforce records. It would be great if we could add checking custom objects, as that would tell a more complete story. I also wish it were easier to clean our data. Like it or not, examining unmatched records is a completely manual process. It took us over 200 hours to do the 1/3 of our data that was unmatched companies (5K our of 15K records). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about D&B Connect?

The volume of data is excellent as you'd expect from D&B, but I love that you can use this as your sole method for lead and account creation in SFDC, forcing users to search for records before creating their own outside of D&B. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about D&B Connect?

Nothing, the entire process demonstrated that D&B are thefts, nothing more, nothing less. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about D&B Connect?

(1) The sales rep lied and claimed we could import a list of 100k domains and match those against the database. The only problem is that there are roughly 10-15% of domains available in our target industries, so the product is useless for our purpose

(2) Several attempts to contact about this resulted in D&B completely ignoring us and not bothering to respond

(3) I filed a BBB report, and they claimed they were "in contact with us." Another lie.

(4) Then the cherry on top: They finally said they canceled the account and would issue a refund in 3-5 business days, after which we were subsequently charged AGAIN the very next day!

In all four steps, they lied. I'm assuming all these reviews are fake reviews written by employees because there is no way anyone could find this company competent, or in any way honest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
