"Great Insights and tools, a little dated on the UI"

What do you like best about CoreLogic Realist?

Corelogic is a large platform that can provide many different data points and insights. Realist is used in the Real Estate industry to pull tax records, county records, mls information, homeowner information, and more. It compiles them into a great report that has a ton of information included. However, it does not always match county assessor records, and I'm not sure why. It is fairly easy to use, but I am a techy person, and to me, the User Interface looks somewhat dated and could be improved upon. But if you know what you're doing, you won't have any trouble navigating their website. Realist does offer excellent value (it is actually provided by our MLS where I live), so I can access their tools very easily. Also, the map view is a huge win for Realist, that offer great functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoreLogic Realist?

Realist could build so much more on their platform with the data they have access to. This seems to be the next missing piece. Right now, it really serves as a repository for information without being intuitive enough to offer or suggest insights to the user. I'm not saying Realist is not a great resource; it is a great resource. I just think they could offer more with minimal effort. Realist should be updated to be more modern; it is a bit basic but very functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering CoreLogic Realist:

If you get access to Realist through another resource as I do, it offers outstanding value. I am not sure what this would cost someone who may not be in Real Estate, I consider it a very valuable piece of tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoreLogic Realist solving and how is that benefiting you?

Realist is providing a solution to locating and accessing essential records for a property. Realist is far superior to any county assessor or state website I have come across. The most significant benefit is the ease of access and integration into our Matrix Multiple Listing System, making it very easy to find and use Realist as a data source. "Much Better Then Others"

What do you like best about CoreLogic Realist?

I enjoy the interphase with ResMan and I also like the very detailed screening results. It's not a basic "yes/no". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoreLogic Realist?

I do not like how many glitches we have had with its link to ResMan. It can be very frustrating when the screening software isn't talking to the property software correctly and you don't know who to turn to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoreLogic Realist?

Core Logic is integrated into our MLS. The default report contains items that I would never want to forward to a potential client. It would be nice of the default report could be changed as the report I DO want to send to my clients is also the one I would use most often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While I wasn't part of the group that chose this, it's clear to me why they chose this over our previous vendor. Information is complete and accurate, is laid out in very useful ways, and the platform allows for extensive customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Corel Logic makes it easy to find private sales nearby, creates a CMA that I can integrate into my own preferred platform, and arranges information in a logical format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its UI is sort of dated. I would like a revamp of the UI. I think that I would like it if they did not use adobe. It is not friendly to my Mac. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoreLogic Realist solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can look up tax data and sales, mortgage and owner history. Can search by address, owner, APN and MLS number very quickly, even with partial data. Complete reports can be emailed in summary or with populated reports; neighborhood, comps and auto (AVM) valuation range, tax breakdown with jurisdictions and detailed property characteristics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I live in a rural/resort area and like that I can easily find tax mailing addresses through realist since most homeowners don't live here year round. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The search feature is a little wonky and not user friendly. You have to manually select all the addresses you want to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
