The software itself is easy to navigate, has many bulk updating features, and customizable reports. The implementation team was very knowledgeable, and I appreciated the trainings on the various aspects of the software using my software instance. **What do you dislike about tax.com?** The original data information request from the implementation team was detailed, but there were some columns that didn't have enough information for our team to understand their use. There was also additional functionality in the software that our team was unaware of from the start. After discovery of this additional functionality, our team had to revise and update the data import template for this new information. It would have been great to know about this before starting the data information request. **What problems is tax.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Tax.com Property Tax Solutions, we manually updated shared excel spreadsheets with the various compliance, AV, accrual information on a monthly basis. The process lacked controls around who was responsible for preparation / review, we frequently encountered version control issues as well. Now with the software, we have a one-stop shop for compliance, appeals, accrual, and information storing processes. This saves us significant time and headache. We can assign specific tasks to specific individuals, and can assign review tasks to the correct individuals. Using the property tax calendar, we can make sure that we never miss a payment, filing due date, or appeal date again. ### 2. Its simple framework makes documentation a breeze, even for complex structures. The comparable company benchmarking is one of the best, and it's only gotten better over time. Customer service in the past year (2024) has been very responsive and helpful, especially as our company users were ramping up. While there's definitely an initial investment to learn the system and set up your processes, it pays off quickly with time savings and consistency. I now have multiple team members using the tool efficiently, and the ability to leverage modules and update reports year over year is invaluable. I've seen a lot of transfer pricing tools come and go, but this one has stood the test of time (originally Crossborder Solutions, then Thomson Reuters Transfer Pricing Documenter, now Tax.com Transfer Pricing Documenter). If you're serious about streamlining your transfer pricing documentation, this is the tool for you. **What do you dislike about tax.com?** Documenting complex entities and transactions (e.g., cost sharing or residual profit split) is possible in the tool but not simple. That said, these methods require more customization and experience than maybe a tool like this is expected to require. The process is easy and organized. **What do you dislike about tax.com?** The only downside to Tax.com Property Tax Solutions is they do not provide the taxing jurisdictions for you. We have to use another provider to run the address through, which gives us the taxing jurisdiction then we load those into Tax.com **What problems is tax.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since we are in the rental business, we have a lot of property that is constantly moving around. Right now we have to manually update in Tracker Pro. We would also like automation with our core to update to current balance. It was calling Ryan and now Tax.com. I am still trying to get used to this new name.

I am impressed by how Ryan does their customer service. Their help desk is timely, professionally and very knowledgeable about their product. Someone from Ryan always reaches out to me when I need them. I can contact them through email, phone call or through Zoom meetings. And it doesn't matter what questions I have. Ryan's customer service team stays with me till we find a solution.

Ryan's training classes, webinars, and open hours for questions are also helpful to me. I like how the service continues even after they sold me the product. So, I feel like they care about what they do and that is why I stayed with Ryan's Unclaimed Property Solutions and didn’t switch to another vendor.

Compared to the Tracker Classic. Tracker Pro is Ryan's new unclaimed property solutions. It’s easy to use and I can tailor the needs accordingly. I can upload and download data with my excel spreadsheets. It is easy to map and create custom reports. Since I have a large volume of data, the group modify feature became one of my favors. It saves me time to make changes and avoid mistakes.

With its security features, I can custom and create various roles and responsibilities. I love this feature so much. Because, I don't have to worry about what types of sensitive information my student helpers can see or if they made change to certain fields. I can just blank out the fields or I can disable certain features. So, they can't accidentally made some kind of change.

I also love how easy it is to use the links for various state websites. All the State specific information is there. I don't need to research myself. And the updates from Ryan keep my system current. So, I don't have to worry about if I missed something.

These are just a few reasons why I stayed with Ryan all these years. I would not use other products because I like this one better. **What do you dislike about tax.com?** I can't think about it on top of my head. Perhaps more in person connections between users. There are meetings for users. But mostly it's online, I like to meet in person when we gather at the UPPO conference. **What problems is tax.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is easy to use and it helps me to file unclaimed property accurately and timely. ### 10. The inability to drag and drop attachments 2. The inability to update user defined fields without double clicking, updating field in a different window and then saving the field. I especially like the automatic import of the tax amount due per account per taxing authority. It's easy to track refunds due and when they have been received.
