What do you like best about CaliberMind?

CaliberMind offers more than just attribution features; we also rely on it as our engagement and customer intelligence platform. It allows us to not only track how our campaigns are performing from a sales standpoint, but also to analyze engagement across various marketing touchpoints. I find the company details pages particularly useful. One of the most valuable additions has been Ask Cal, CaliberMind's AI bot, which helps make sense of the extensive data available within the system. Customer Success and support teams are also super responsive and listen to customer feedback for product enhancements. It seems they are very quick to make enhancements as well. What do you dislike about CaliberMind?

It can be challenging for users to access and fully grasp the information presented. While this isn't entirely CaliberMind's fault, attribution itself is quite subjective. What do you like best about CaliberMind?

CaliberMind has been instrumental in bringing together our marketing and sales data, allowing us to gain a comprehensive view of how prospects move through our funnel. It has made it much easier to report on the factors driving our pipeline and to identify where we should focus our efforts.

The platform is also quite customizable which allows us to tailor the set up to our specific needs; this includes the ability to customize our attribution models and dashboards which has been very helpful. It allows us to create views that highlight what matters most to our team. We have also started leveraging buyer journey summaries to give our sales team better insights into prospect and account engagement.

The integrations with Salesforce and our other marketing tools work smoothly, providing a unified perspective on activity across all our platforms.

Additionally, their team is extremely helpful and responsive. We have had a positive experience working with both our dedicated rep and the support staff whenever we've needed help or have questions. What do you dislike about CaliberMind?

Adoption among our internal teams has been slower than we anticipated, but that is largely due to our own internal processes rather than issues with the platform itself. The platform offers a great deal of flexibility, which is valuable, but it also means that configuring the tool to fit our specific needs requires additional effort, as does keeping everything updated to match the changes within our organization. There is a learning curve when it comes to setting up dashboards and attribution logic, and some features require a few extra steps to configure just the way we want. What do you like best about CaliberMind?

CaliberMind is the first tool that has been able to make sense of our massive pool of campaign engagement and opportunity data, giving us true visibility into marketing influence on pipeline, as well as sales performance along the funnel journey - sliced pretty much every which way we could dream up. It provides a level clarity on engagement and channel performance that we have been desperate for as our engine has scaled, and the learnings we're deriving from that can be applied broadly to defined market segments or hyper-specifically for ABM motions. What do you dislike about CaliberMind?

There is a steep learning curve, especially for more junior marketers and those new to the concept of attribution, and there can be a lot of nuance to the data depending on how you set it up. What do you like best about CaliberMind?

Strong multi-touch attribution tool, working across all of our systems to join up all the data. Probably the leader in the vendor field. Also includes ABM / Sales functionality for scoring or engagement. Has a large amount of applications for multiple teams with its modules: Attribution, Engagement, Funnel, etc. so its quite an extensive and powerful tool, primarily for Marketing, then Sales. The funniest selling point was 'you may find answers you weren't necessarily looking for', like when something you thought was creating value, actually wasn't. What do you dislike about CaliberMind?

Complexity of the tool, hard for stakeholders to 'get it', and commit to usage. Requires a large commitment on the customer side to make it a part-time job during integration, and probably a 1/4 - 1/8 time job afterward - otherwise your org won't get value.

The integration should have included more education ongoing throughout the long integration process. Sales needs to be up front that a lot of attribution / data for the models is based on SFDC campaigns, not just activity or other Event data, which was very surprising.

SQL is needed if the out of the box reports aren't aligning with your business workflow. Custom dashboards are not very friendly with self-serve (even with LLM bots, which 'hallucinate' - this isn't a knock specifically to CaliberMind, all LLM bots make up stuff so aren't as useful as they are sold in 100% of cases).

Even with the other issues, CaliberMind worked through our tough integration, so I don't knock them down, and custom support is great and helpful with fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I most appreciate the partnership we have with our representatives at CaliberMind (Misha and Jared). Our relationship is collaborative with each side contributing ideas and implementations that enhance the final products in both organizations. They listen carefully and are patient with clarifying questions. Response time is quick when issues arise. Generally, their product is very easy to use and offers many features and functionality that we use every day, particularly in data source aggregation and transformation. CaliberMind is a growing platform and, unsurprisingly, there can be growing pains and waiting while navigating (together) never seen before issues. What do you like best about CaliberMind?

I appreciate that CaliberMind is consistently innovating and frequently adds new features, which indicates their commitment to improving the platform. They are also receptive to product enhancement requests, which makes me feel that my needs as a user are valued. I love the flexibility the attribution dashboard offers, allowing me to group by any field that we have in our system, such as campaign, channel, and account owner. This capability enables us to quickly and easily analyze reports or run comparisons on the fly. Moreover, the ability to connect our paid channels directly to CaliberMind streamlines our reporting process and removes the need for manual data entry or reconciliation, which is a significant time-saver. What do you dislike about CaliberMind?

I don't like that the sync occurs overnight, so real-time updates are not available. Additionally, to export a list of all attribution, we have to build lists, which sometimes require SQL, because the columns are not customizable within the dashboard. There's also a limit to the number of rows exported. The initial setup was challenging and time consuming. We've also experienced challenges with setting up our funnels within the platform and I don't feel that we are getting value from that feature. I have been incredibly impressed with CaliberMind for several reasons. First and foremost, the team's dedication to excellent customer service during our onboarding process ensured we were set up for success; I have never had such a positive experience with a vendor before. They worked closely with us to address our unique CRM and Marketo setup, which required substantial customization. The platform's flexibility in reporting and tracking has allowed us to expand our understanding of marketing impact from individual interactions to broader account-level insights, providing a centralized view of our marketing efforts across various platforms. Features like the AskCal AI summary on Accounts are favorites among our marketers, offering quick synopses of marketing impact, while the engagement dashboard helps focus our marketing strategies on revenue-generating opportunities. Personally, I love the Attribution dashboard for its ability to tailor perspectives needed to communicate marketing impact effectively to executives. The platform's seamless integration with tools like Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Marketo, Google Analytics, and others enhances its utility for us. The constant development and innovation by the CaliberMind team make me confident in my choice; they not only listen to our feature requests but also implement them swiftly as demonstrated when they created a new user role for us, significantly improving our onboarding of new users. I would like the flexibility to create custom user roles, allowing us to limit and control access more precisely. For instance, I want to restrict some users to view-only mode on certain dashboards or limit their access to Account and contact activity specific to their roles. What do you like best about CaliberMind?

I appreciate how CaliberMind has been instrumental in enhancing our attribution model over the past three years. Its advanced capabilities turned out to be easier to manage than I initially expected. I am impressed by its adaptability in allowing us to customize statuses and channels for capture, as well as assign custom weights to various data points, which proved beneficial in rolling out our multi-touch attribution model. CaliberMind offers excellent insights into the buyer's journey, making us aware of all touches and allowing us to effectively understand what drives pipeline creation. I find their custom attribution models particularly useful for the flexibility they provide. Moreover, the seamless integration with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google plugins, and Meta plugins ensures we efficiently harness data from our tech stack for more comprehensive understanding and tracking of paid media and website traffic attributes. What do you dislike about CaliberMind?

I am not satisfied with CaliberMind's data visualization and website tracking abilities. The visualization of customer journeys is not ideal, and it would be beneficial if visual capabilities were enhanced. Additionally, I find it inconvenient to manually insert tracking scripts on every web page we want to monitor. I hope for a more efficient and timely solution that encompasses all URLs. What do you like best about CaliberMind?

CaliberMind connects the dots between marketing activities, sales activities, and pipeline performance in one system—something I haven’t seen another platform do successfully without extensive customization or multiple system integrations. It truly stands out in its ability to sync and unify data from different sources into a single source of truth.

I also appreciate how seamlessly it allows you to toggle between attribution models with just one click. Being able to instantly see how different attribution models shift revenue by source or campaign provides incredible visibility and helps drive more informed decision-making. What do you dislike about CaliberMind?

The platform’s user interface is fairly complex and not very intuitive. It takes time to learn how to navigate and find the information you need. While the system houses a wealth of valuable data for marketing and sales teams, only users who’ve been trained can easily access and interpret it.

Even more challenging than navigation is building reports and connecting data within the platform. Fortunately, our Customer Success Manager has provided excellent hands-on support—helping us build the dashboards and reports we need, verify data integrity, and ensure everything is connected correctly to reflect how our efforts are performing.
