**What do you like best about Askable?**

I like Askable because it's simple and straightforward. I appreciate that I don't have to jump through hoops to get started, and the studies are usually related to things I care about. The convenience of being paid for sharing my thoughts is a definite plus. I find it easy to give feedback on products and services I use daily, and my input feels useful. The setup was really easy and quick, as creating an account and answering a few questions only took a minute.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

One thing that could be improved is the availability of studies; sometimes there just aren't many that match me, so I don't get to participate as often as I would like to. It can be a little unclear why I'm not selected for certain ones, so more transparency would help. I would like to see more consistent opportunities or notifications when new studies open up because it is really easy to miss them.

I use Askable to give feedback on products and services easily. I like its simplicity, relevancy, and of course, getting paid. It's quick and makes my input feel useful.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

I like Askable because it's easy to set up and quick to get results, especially for unmoderated testing. I appreciate the insights pulled from the testing, and it just makes testing and validation a lot easier and quicker. Setting up tests is very easy, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

I guess what could be improved is being able to set quotas in the screeners and things like that. That's the only thing that I would say needs to be approved. Only other thing I would say as well is using Microsoft Teams. It's a bit more difficult because you have to send out the link invites to customers individually. That yeah, the only thing that's not easy about it.

**What problems is Askable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Askable for research and testing with customers. It's easy to set up and quick to get results, especially for unmoderated testing. The insights from the testing make validation quicker and more efficient.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

Askable has saved me a ton of time when recruiting and communicating with participants. Now that it includes AI, reporting feels much easier and faster. I also like that the platform offers end-to-end UX research tools, so I don’t have to rely on a bunch of different tools just to get everything done.

I also appreciate how quickly and seriously the team takes action to address my concerns. Kudos to the support team.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

The list of allowed countries is still too limited for us, since we work with participants from many countries that aren’t included. In the study settings UI, I can also select countries that don’t even appear on the allowed-country list, which is confusing. Sometimes the participants we get are not quite who we’re looking for.

**What problems is Askable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit for me is the time we save on recruitment, reporting, and switching between tools. On top of that, our new designer also finds the platform easy to use, which saves us a lot of time and reduces the capacity we need for training.
Besides, pulling insights from multiple studies using AI is a game changer.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

Askable is the most efficient, quality recruitment platform I have ever used. The team are awesome, and always ready to help with any questions I have. In the odd case where someone doesn't show up or has lied to get through the system, Askable has been prompt to remove them from the platform and give a full refund as well as replace the participant. We've used them for a couple of years now on every research job both quant and qual and I don't see the need to use any other platform.

Nothing! They're constantly innovating, improving and evolving! :)

Easy fast recruitment and now top of market AI researchers allowing for insane lead times which is really helping the work.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

I've been using Askable for about a year, initially to improve our research processes, and since then we've started utilizing some of their other services as well. The platform has been especially valuable for sourcing niche candidates within our sector, which has always been a challenge for us. More recently, we began working with their in-house researchers to conduct interviews and generate reports, and the outcomes are excellent. The support from the team has also been outstanding, both in managing projects and keeping us informed about product updates.

We've not had any issues with the platform or the service.

**What problems is Askable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first, we relied on it primarily to source candidates for interviews, which is always a challenge in our sector due to the difficulty in finding willing participants. Later, we started working with the in-house researchers, who have taken on research projects and provided valuable feedback on their findings. This service has been a tremendous asset, significantly reducing the workload for my team while consistently delivering high-quality results and insights. Another major advantage is the ability to engage researchers whose experience closely matches the needs of each project.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

I use Askable to recruit participants for qualitative research studies both online and in person. Askable makes it really easy to do a fast recruit, find a diverse set of participants, and use our existing tool stack, making the admin of running research much faster. I like how fast recruitment can happen, even when you're trying to recruit for fairly niche projects. I was able to do a full qual recruit within 26 hours. Askable makes it very easy to flag low-quality participants, so I don't mind that the quality can vary. They also handle payment for me, which is really nice.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

I'd like a better integration with Google Calendar for when I am running research outside of Askable, at the moment it's a bit tricky to get participants a calendar invite. I'd like to be able to either easily export the email addresses of participants so I can send them calendar invites directly (I understand that might not be a fit for Askable) so some kind of integration where I can send Askable the Google Calendar invite and have them send it to the participant.

I use Askable to recruit participants for research. It makes recruiting fast, even for niche projects, and lets me work with our existing tools, speeding up admin tasks. They handle payments, which is really nice.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

I find Askable super simple for getting a campaign going, which brought us a load of really qualified candidates. The proactive Askable team helped readvertise campaigns whenever we needed more responses, making it easy to get all the interviewees we want. I appreciate that the platform is intuitive and easy to use. The human support is invariably engaging, friendly, and helpful, which I really value. Adding our own availabilities into the calendar instead of negotiating timings with candidates is a big time saver. The interview tool is great, especially because it allows watchers who don’t appear in the meeting itself, so it doesn't overwhelm the participant.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

We found that download speeds out of Askable (for full interview video recordings) were sometimes slow.

**What problems is Askable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Askable solves low interview response rates, manages incentives, and ensures consistent documentation. It's super easy to set up campaigns, saves time by scheduling, and the tool doesn't overwhelm participants. The proactive support and intuitive platform make it valuable.

I really like that I can self-manage the recruitment process with Askable. The quick availability of videos and transcripts makes things efficient, and the team is friendly. Overall, it's an easy-to-use platform that lets me get things done relatively quickly. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

When working as Askable researcher some of the projects have really difficult specs which can slow down the process. In the Insights builder with the reels, not being able to control the order of the videos impacts the reporting flow and sometimes they don't make sense.

**What problems is Askable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Askable lets me self-manage recruitment and access videos and transcripts quickly, making the process efficient. I work on interesting projects that pique my interest, supported by a friendly team. As a client, I’m dabbling with Askable and it’s been a really positive experience for projects where I’m confident Askable will be able to fill the spec. Response rates are also very good.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

I use Askable for customer and market research. It's great because it enables me to quickly and easily recruit participants for research studies and takes away much of the headache around participant scheduling, rescheduling, communications, and incentive payment. I find Askable to be easy to use, and in most cases, it's fully self-serve, so I can set up studies myself and make adjustments as needed. The support is also responsive and helpful whenever I encounter any challenges. The ability to easily self-serve studies is especially valuable to me because we often pull studies together at the last minute or with little lead time, and it helps keep things moving without relying on back-and-forth with a vendor.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

At times we have had challenges in meeting quotas for studies, either overall for the study, or lacking a balance of male and female participants. The ability to rate participants is binary - either good or bad - which is challenging when you speak with a participant who is not great/very forthcoming, but you do not want to penalize a person by saying they were 'bad' - if they turned up and had the conversation they deserve some recognition for that, but the ability to provide a more nuanced ranking might help the platform put forward more engaged participants.

Askable quickly recruits research participants, eases scheduling, and handles payments. It's easy to use, self-serve, and flexible, allowing last-minute study setup without vendor reliance. Support is helpful.

The research capability matches that of in-house teams I've worked with, and the fresh perspectives from the researchers frequently reveal nuances I might overlook because I'm so immersed in the work and its context.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

Our systems are quite restricted, which means we can't access Google products. Even after using Askable for several years, I still find myself needing to remind the Askable team to send attachments and updates by email in file formats compatible with our systems, instead of Google documents that we simply can't open.

Askable is assisting us in continuously developing our understanding of several key areas: how customers see our brand and the products and services we offer, their experiences as they navigate our most important journeys, and whether we are positioned to enter new markets and what steps we must take to earn that position.

It is an easy to use tool with allow us to test quick and make decisions. I really appreciate their support in all stages of research, from planning to execution, I how I can count on them if I need.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

They are very open to feedback, so every time we have any problems they jump right in to help. One example is when we had "poor performing" participants (who didn't complete the tasks), Askable offered to repeat the tests with no additional costs for us.

Askable has been an invaluable partner in our research efforts, providing us with timely and crucial customer insights. The platform's flexibility allows our team to run a wide range of research, from in-depth qualitative sessions to broad quantitative studies.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

I am currently a one-man-band, running all market research needs for the company. Askable's Plus/ Tracks allows me to work with other researchers of my choice to help me complete projects when I can't put all my time into them. It has literally saved my life! 
It is super user friendly and I have worked with wonderful people so far.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

I think I may run into some tricky situations whereby I can't run two projects through the track at once, but the team has made it clear that we can at least have that conversation about what to do when that happens. I also think for other teams, not having the credit system anymore may be a reason they can't continue working with Askable. It's fine for my role though.

**What problems is Askable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Askable solves the need for faster insights, at a good cost! 
Also the support I get from them when I have no team of my home on the ground.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

For my specific use case, which is usually for conducting one on one interviews and usability studies, Askable have made the entire process much more efficient and headache-free. We used to go back and forth with third party market research recruitment firms on the brief and screener, then participant scheduling was a nightmare, consent was extra work, and participant quality wasn't always great (and difficult to replace if one had gone very badly). With askable, all of those factors have been simplified. I can recruit good quality participants from a very large panel, schedule (and re-schedule), conduct, and analyse my data all from a single platform. It has saved a lot of time and headaches for me and my team. Customer support has also always been easy and helpful to interact with when needed, which is relatively rare.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

For a time there were a few bugs in the video conferencing side of things, but these have been ironed out and it now performs really well. I would like the ability to have more conditional logic and better screen-out logic on the recruitment questionnaire, but I can usually work around this.

I love that Askable makes it incredibly easy and fast to reach research participants, ensuring that they are exactly the individuals I need. This efficiency is invaluable for my user experience research processes. The built-in video call system is another feature I greatly appreciate, as it ensures all participants are familiar with the tool, eliminating the usual technical difficulties like audio or screen-sharing issues that we used to face with other video call tools. I enjoy how straightforward it is to create highlight reels for stakeholders, which helps in clearly communicating our findings. The initial setup of Askable was also remarkably effortless. Additionally, the capabilities Askable offers in terms of sharing clips and insights libraries with both internal and external participants are fantastic. Overall, these aspects collectively enhance the research process and streamline collaboration significantly.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

I find the lack of quick-notes for positive, negative, and neutral things, along with the absence of keyboard shortcuts for these notes, to be a drawback. This feature would enable me to make real-time notes during interviews, reducing the need for an additional colleague. I would benefit from automated session analysis and summaries within Askable, as I currently have to use Gemini to achieve this.

I have been using Askable for at least 5 years, primarily for recruiting participants for qualitative research, and it has been a reliable tool in this area. I love how it allows me to quickly and easily get participants from around Australia. The product's ease of use stands out, making my experience smooth and straightforward. One specific feature I value is the ability to book sessions entirely within the platform, which streamlines the workflow significantly. Additionally, the initial setup of Askable was very easy, which added to the overall positive experience.

When using a meeting platform that isn't Askable Live, I am required to manually send participants a link. This additional manual step can disrupt workflow and is cumbersome. Having an option to integrate with Microsoft Teams or Zoom would make the process more seamless, allowing links to be managed directly within the platform and enhancing overall user experience.

**What do you like best about Askable?**

Askable Plus service was a great experience. A researcher who has relevant industry experience was assigned as request.The researcher was expert in their field. Easy to deal with and keep the team informed along the way. The platform itself supports the study in a way it's clear to see the progress and output. Screening and recruiting participants is super easy as well. The project was delivered timely to the expectation.

**What do you dislike about Askable?**

There were moments we weren't sure if we deal directly with the researcher or involve the Askable staff. But direct communication with the researcher works fine. Otherwise everything works fine. The new pricing model is not fit for purpose for my organisation. Credit system is much more flexible. The panel could also be expanded in other region more.

I love how easy it is to recruit, incentivise and run studies. Then with their tagging and insights features makes it really quick to go from interviews to actionable insights

Once you've created insights, being able to share these with others is a pain. You can enable a whitelist domain name for email but this is pretty clunky

Finding good participants, as you can be very specific in the type of people you want to speak to. For our business it works very well with recruiting

I like Askable because of their dashboards, which make it easy to recruit and customize screeners. This helps us get the right participants for the right projects. I also found the setup easy and the interface quite intuitive. If I had any problems, I had people within my team to reach out to.

For certain projects, Askable's panel doesn't work as well. I'm unsure sometimes, depending on the niche audience, if Askable would be able to recruit for these people or not.

Askable has become my go to research recruitment platform. There's never any trouble meeting my sample criteria and the process for getting a quote, setting up a project and choosing participants could not be simpler. I love having full control over participant shortlisting and the support team are always on hand when I have any queries. Overall the platform has made recruitment far less daunting and much quicker than I've ever experienced before.

The one downside is the lack of customisation of the incentive amount, but the support team have always been able to help with this when needed.

Askable have taken out the middle man in research recruitment. Nice all in one platform that covers all your discovery needs. The entire recruitment process for participants couldn't be easier or faster. On top of this we find the quality of participants to be consistently high. Having a video platform within Askable that records and transcribes is also very helpful. Customer support always quick to reply when extra help needed.

Bugs do pop up from time to time and occasionally have difficulty with participants getting access to the call - usually easy enough to troubleshoot.

Only other downside is Askable is moving to a subscription model that will likely be out of our price range as a smaller organisation.

The Askable team are always great in ensuring my study has enough participants, either during the planning stages or during to check up if all participants have attended. 
The ability to give report or give feedback on participants is also a great feedback loop.

I have issues installing the (android) app, so am unable to receive and send messages to participants on the platform, which is super critical on the day of (in person) testing. Alternative options for efficient SMS messaging  would be great. I would opt for in-platform messaging for accountability, but extra options are a time saver.
