"Askable Streamlines Recruitment and User Research in One Flexible Workflow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

What I like most about Askable is how it brings participant recruitment and user research into a single workflow. Rather than managing recruitment separately and then moving participants and research data across multiple tools, Askable makes it much easier to go from defining the audience and screener to running interviews, usability tests, or surveys.

I also appreciate the flexibility in research methods. Being able to combine qualitative approaches like interviews with unmoderated testing and surveys makes it easier to validate both what users say and what they actually do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

The main area I’d improve is the learning curve when setting up more detailed research studies. The platform offers a lot of flexibility, but that also means there are more options and configurations to work through before a study is exactly where I want it.

For smaller, straightforward studies, this isn’t a major issue. However, for more complex research workflows, more guided setup, clearer recommendations, or stronger AI assistance around study design would help speed things up and reduce the back-and-forth during configuration.

I’d also like pricing and ROI to be easier to evaluate upfront, especially for teams that plan to run research frequently or at higher participant volumes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A reliable user-friendly platform for sourcing high-quality research participants"
4/5
What do you like best about Askable?

The step by step setup wizard is incredibly well-organized and intuitive. It makes it simple to define precise study parameters such as session formats, device requirements, and custom screener questions without encountering any configuration lag. I particularly like the live preview feature on the right side of the screen because it shows exactly what participants will see before the study goes live. The platform does an excellent job of automating participant recruitment, which eliminates a massive amount of manual coordination and helps us move projects forward quickly. What do you dislike about Askable?

The credit allocation system can feel a little rigid when you are just running an initial trial setups to evaluate the audience filters before a full rollout. Additionally, it would be highly beneficial to see a real-time estimate of local participant pool size during the early drafting stages, rather than waiting to see the final credit calculations on the review summary page. "Askable Streamlines Participant Recruitment and Saves Serious Research Time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

What I like most about Askable is how much easier it makes the participant recruitment process. Finding people who actually match the requirements of a study can be surprisingly time-consuming, especially when you need a specific demographic, level of experience, or user profile. Askable takes a lot of that work off my plate by giving me a structured way to define who I’m looking for and screen participants before involving them in the research.

I also like that the recruitment process is fairly straightforward. I can set up the study, establish screening criteria, review suitable participants, and manage the process without having to rely on several different tools. That makes the overall workflow much more organised and reduces a lot of the back-and-forth that normally comes with recruiting research participants.

Another thing I appreciate is the speed. When I need feedback within a relatively short timeframe, I don't have to spend days posting recruitment messages or manually searching for people. Having access to a participant pool makes it much easier to get a study moving.

Overall, the biggest benefit for me is the amount of time it saves. Askable handles a lot of the repetitive recruitment and coordination work, which means I can spend more time actually conducting the research, analysing the feedback, and using those insights to improve the product or user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

The main thing I dislike about Askable is that the participant pool can feel a little limiting when I’m looking for a very specific type of user. For broader studies, recruitment is fairly straightforward, but for niche demographics, specialised experience, or very specific screening requirements, it can take longer to find enough suitable participants.

I also think there could be more flexibility in some parts of the screening and participant management process. When a study has more complicated requirements, I sometimes find myself having to work around the platform rather than being able to configure everything exactly the way I want.

Another area that could be improved is the overall visibility into recruitment. Having more detailed information about participant availability, response rates, and recruitment progress would make it easier to plan studies and understand where things might be slowing down.

These aren't major problems, and they haven't stopped me from using the platform. For most studies, the convenience of having recruitment and participant management in one place outweighs these limitations. But improving flexibility and expanding the pool for harder-to-reach audiences would make Askable much more useful for more specialised research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rapid Insights, genuine collaboration, and a Product that keeps getting better"
5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

What I appreciate most about Askable is the strength of our partnership and their collaborative approach. The Askable team is exceptionally supportive and maintains impressive transparency regarding their product roadmap and upcoming features. Having experienced multiple iterations of the platform firsthand, I can confidently attest to its continuous evolution. It is incredibly rewarding to see our feedback actively listened to and incorporated into the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

While we love using Askable overall, we see room for growth around reporting capabilities. We would love to see more advanced data export options, deeper analytics, and more flexible reporting templates to help us present insights to stakeholders even faster. That being said, we know the team is actively developing new features in this space, and given Askable’s track record of product evolution, we’re excited to see what’s coming next. "Reliable, Fast Payouts with Clear, Fair Cash Rates"
5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

Reliable, fast payouts. Unlike many standard survey platforms that pay in fractional pennies or rely on complicated point systems, Askable offers clear, transparent cash rates (via PayPal or direct options) that feel fair for the time you put in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

Inconsistent study flow: The studies I’m shown depend heavily on narrow demographics and my location, which often results in long dry spells where nothing is available.

High competition: The more popular sessions fill up within minutes, so qualifying can feel like a race against the clock. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Recruitment with Minor Scheduling Glitches"
5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

I like that recruiting is really quick on Askable, which saves me time. I appreciate how I can set up the study with screening questions, which makes it easy to recruit the right participants. The handpicking feature is helpful, too. Askable's panel of participants means I can screen them quickly, adding to efficiency, which is something traditional survey platforms lack. Also, Askable handling payment and incentives is a relief because it eliminates the previous manual process, saving a lot of headache. The calendar function in the Askable recruitment is helpful for allocating time slots, even though it can sometimes be clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

I find the calendar function in the Askable recruitment a bit clunky because it doesn't link back easily to the participant list. Also, the scheduling interface can be improved. The table view has a lot of controls like joining sessions or viewing screener questions, which are missing in the calendar view. When I'm back-to-back with interview meetings, I want to use the calendar to see what's next, but I can't click and open to join sessions directly from there. This sometimes causes a delay, making me late to interviews as I switch between views. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Askable — A Practical Platform for Recruiting and Running User Research"
4/5
What do you like best about Askable?

Askable is useful because it brings participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, communication, and study management into one workflow. I particularly like being able to define an audience using demographic criteria and screener questions, then review participants based on their eligibility and responses. The participant management screen is also helpful because it brings application status, screening responses, session information, and messaging together rather than requiring several separate tools. For research where the target audience needs to meet specific criteria, this makes the recruitment process much more structured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

The main challenge is that recruiting a very specific audience can still require some trial and error with the screening criteria. The more specific the audience, the more important it is to balance the requirements with the size of the available participant pool. I would also like to see more flexibility and customization for certain study workflows and participant-management actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive AI-Powered Insights, Perfect for UX Testing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

I appreciate Askable's ability to deliver insights quickly, which is a lifesaver for my team. The inbuilt AI tools are a standout feature for us, enabling dynamic interviews in line with our research objectives. The AI analysis tool makes it incredibly easy to analyze results, pull themes, and create reports, saving me a lot of time. I love having the control over what we create and launch, and it's user-friendly enough that many team members can use it with ease. The 'Ask AI' tool is fantastic, efficiently identifying trends, insights, and feedback from multiple studies. It's pretty accurate and can even back up themes with real quotes or video snippets, which I really like. The initial setup was straightforward, thanks to the support from account managers who trained us. Overall, it's a great qualitative tool that provides autonomy and valuable insights without the need for expensive, lengthy external services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

There are some limitations with setting quotas and interlocking quotas on Askable. You need to launch a survey before 3pm-3:30pm if you want it to go live the same day because the team needs to review and approve it, which is usually okay but can be a hassle. The 'Ask AI' tool doesn't work for all types of studies, like prototype testing. It doesn't support quantitative surveying heavily, so we need to use another tool for big surveys like brand health tracking. I've noticed with the AI interviews, about 90% are good, but some participants might not realize we are reviewing them, leading to slightly odd or inappropriate behavior at times but they do allow you to remove these and replace participants for free Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward and Rewarding Feedback Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

I like Askable because it's simple and straightforward. I appreciate that I don't have to jump through hoops to get started, and the studies are usually related to things I care about. The convenience of being paid for sharing my thoughts is a definite plus. I find it easy to give feedback on products and services I use daily, and my input feels useful. The setup was really easy and quick, as creating an account and answering a few questions only took a minute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

One thing that could be improved is the availability of studies; sometimes there just aren't many that match me, so I don't get to participate as often as I would like to. It can be a little unclear why I'm not selected for certain ones, so more transparency would help. I would like to see more consistent opportunities or notifications when new studies open up because it is really easy to miss them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup and Quick Results with Askable"
5/5
What do you like best about Askable?

I like Askable because it's easy to set up and quick to get results, especially for unmoderated testing. I appreciate the insights pulled from the testing, and it just makes testing and validation a lot easier and quicker. Setting up tests is very easy, which is a big plus for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Askable?

I guess what could be improved is being able to set quotas in the screeners and things like that. That's the only thing that I would say needs to be approved. Only other thing I would say as well is using Microsoft Teams. It's a bit more difficult because you have to send out the link invites to customers individually. That yeah, the only thing that's not easy about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
