"Flexible, extendable platform but not without its flaws"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

It’s expendable. If I want to build something for my team that doesn’t exist already, I just can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Oh, you don't want to get me started. Although it’s an extendable platform, there so many limitations, many of which are arbitrary, that become a real pain. One simple example is that a BEFORE Flow can’t call an Apex action. I understand why you’d want to prevent that, but a trigger can do it… so it seems like you could put an “I understand the risks” stop gap and let me build some apex that a before flow can use. Again, this is just one small example of an endless book of silly limitations or incomplete solutions Salesforce has in place that make it an imperfect platform serious developers often prefer to stay away from. The platform can become complex as customizations and integrations grow. Configuration, troubleshooting, and maintaining integrations can require significant technical expertise, and licensing costs can also become expensive for larger organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Agentforce Sales AI Agents: A Game-Changer for Productivity and Outreach"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

As someone who's been in the Salesforce ecosystem for a while, the rebrand to Agentforce Sales isn't just a name change — it reflects a genuine shift in how the platform works. Here's what stands out to me:

### What I Like Best

**The AI agents are a game-changer.** The autonomous AI agents built into the core platform have fundamentally changed how I spend my day. Before, I was buried in data entry, research, and scheduling — the kind of work that eats into actual selling time. Now, Agentforce handles a huge chunk of that for me, and I can focus on building relationships and closing deals.

**Personalized outreach at scale.** One of my favorite features is the ability to generate brand-aligned, personalized outreach for every prospect. It's not generic template stuff — the messaging actually feels tailored, and I've noticed prospects responding faster and more positively.

**The unified performance hub.** Having a single place to view sales performance, agent activity, and prioritized next steps keeps me organized and focused. I'm not jumping between dashboards or tabs trying to piece together where I stand — it's all right there.

**Real productivity gains.** This isn't just marketing hype. I've personally experienced a noticeable drop in time spent on admin work, and my pipeline is moving faster. The stats I've seen — 30–40% less admin time, 25% higher lead conversions — track with my own experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

### Areas for Improvement

**Cost and complexity.** Let's be honest — Agentforce Sales isn't cheap, and the learning curve can be steep, especially for smaller teams. The depth of features is impressive, but it can feel overwhelming if you don't have a dedicated admin or implementation partner.

**Customization takes effort.** While the low-code/no-code approach is a step in the right direction, getting everything dialed in to match your specific sales process still requires time and expertise.

### Bottom Line

Agentforce Sales is the most significant evolution of Sales Cloud I've seen. The AI agents aren't a bolt-on gimmick — they're woven into the platform in a way that genuinely makes me more productive. If you're already in the Salesforce ecosystem and your team is ready to embrace AI-assisted selling, it's worth the investment. Just go in with realistic expectations about the setup and cost. "AgentForce Power"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Agentforce Sales is helpful because it simplifies sales management by keeping customer, lead, and opportunity information all in one place. It enables sales teams to track their pipeline more easily, automate routine tasks and follow-ups, and improve collaboration across the team, which ultimately saves time. The reporting and dashboards also offer useful insights into sales performance, helping teams make better decisions faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The least helpful aspect of Agentforce Sales is that it can sometimes be complex to set up and customize, especially for new users. It can take a while to learn all of its features, and when you’re managing large amounts of data, the overall experience can occasionally feel overwhelming. Some of the more advanced features may also require additional training and/or extra configuration before you can use them effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Agentforce made Sales Cloud something our reps and leaders actually talk to"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The topics-and-actions model is the right abstraction. We run an SDR agent with custom qualification topics on inbound leads, an autonomous sales management agent, and an internal analyst agent that answers pipeline questions in plain language from governed Salesforce data. Invocable Apex becomes an agent action, so existing business logic turns into agent skills without a rebuild. It sits on the same data, sharing model, and permissions we already trust, and Agent Script gives real control over behavior instead of a black box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Deployability lags the runtime. Prompt templates do not auto-activate after a deploy and return empty instead of erroring. Some newer agent configurations cannot yet be retrieved through the Metadata API, so promoting them between environments takes workarounds. Grounding discipline is on you: loose instructions can let an agent reuse an earlier answer instead of calling its action again, so test multi-turn conversations carefully. The licensing SKU list is a lot to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Continuity of Business w/o the extra labor"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Salesforce allows our team to log detailed information about opportunities, with strong visibility and transparency across the organization. In addition, we can view a donor’s historical interactions and collaborate as a team to manage larger gifts due to the ease of use. Most of our users are in Salesforce on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

For larger teams, it can be costly as there are per user costs, data costs and file storage costs. Integration and implementation can take some time, but don't let this persuade you into using something else. Salesforce is a powerful platform and customer support is available and extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All Your Customer and Pipeline Info in One Place with Agentforce Sales"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

What do you like best about Agentforce Sales?

What I like best about Agentforce Sales is having customer, account, opportunity, and pipeline information in one place. It gives me better visibility into where each opportunity stands, what follow-up is needed, and which accounts need attention. For someone managing multiple prospects and client relationships, it makes it much easier to stay organized, track activities, collaborate with the team, and focus on opportunities that are most likely to move forward.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Sales?

The biggest downside is that the experience depends heavily on how well Salesforce has been configured and how consistently the team maintains the data. There can be too many fields, steps, or screens for relatively simple sales updates, which can make CRM administration feel time-consuming. Reporting and customization are powerful, but some changes may require administrator support rather than being something a salesperson can quickly adjust on their own. "Flexible, All-in-One Sales Visibility with Strong Automation and Reporting"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

I like the flexibility and visibility Agentforce Sales provides across the entire sales process. It allows us to manage leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities in one place while customizing sales processes to match specific business needs. The automation, reporting, dashboards, and integration capabilities help reduce manual work, improve data quality, and give sales teams better visibility into their pipeline and customer relationships. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

One challenge with Agentforce Sales is that configuration can become complex as business requirements grow. Managing automation, permissions, record types, page layouts, and integrations can require significant administrative effort. Some seemingly simple requirements may also require additional Flow configuration or custom development, which can make troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance more time-consuming. The platform exhibits an outstanding level of organization, facilitating streamlined workflows and allowing for a user-friendly experience. Its ability to effortlessly integrate with third-party systems further demonstrates its adaptability and relevance in today's interconnected technological landscape. Moreover, the ease with which the platform can be customized to meet specific needs showcases its versatility, making it an invaluable tool for a wide range of applications.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Cost: Salesforce Sales Cloud can be quite expensive, especially for small businesses or startups. The pricing model can be complex, with additional costs for certain features, storage, and support.

Frequent updates: Salesforce releases updates frequently, which can be both a strength and a weakness. While it ensures that the platform is up-to-date with the latest features, it can also disrupt workflows or create compatibility issues with customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Data Layer for Automation, Integrations, and Accurate Sales Operations"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

What I like most about Agentforce Sales (formerly Sales Cloud) is the underlying platform and data layer, not the seller-facing UI. Most of my work happens in the object model, automation, and integrations—things like custom pricing logic, compensation calculations, rebate structures, and dashboards. That’s the work that makes the platform genuinely usable and accurate for reps, as opposed to the day-to-day screens they click through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

My biggest frustration with Agentforce Sales (formerly Sales Cloud) is that the platform’s data and governance layer isn’t clean or reliable enough on its own. I end up building the governance myself, whether that’s custom pricing cheat sheets for VBR/UPD/PTC/CCF or manually investigating billing gaps, instead of the system enforcing it natively. Data pipeline issues compound this: integration work like the Boomi to Databricks migration surfaces bugs (like Calculated Insights reading UTC as EDT) that skew metrics I’m accountable for. And any meaningful platform change, like the Opportunity Stage Redesign, comes with a heavy manual UAT cycle rather than built-in confidence that the change is safe.
