## About Einstein Conversation Insights

Einstein Conversation Insights (also referred to as Salesforce Conversation Insights or Conversation Intelligence) is an AI-powered conversation intelligence solution built natively into Salesforce Sales Cloud. It is designed to help revenue teams unlock actionable insights from their sales calls, emails, and meetings — automatically turning what was said into structured, CRM-connected intelligence without requiring manual note-taking or full call reviews. At its core, Einstein Conversation Insights processes audio recordings from voice and video calls and surfaces key moments, trends, and signals directly within Salesforce. It does not record calls itself; instead, it works with recordings captured by integrated voice and video providers and applies AI to analyze them at scale. \*\*Call Insights\*\* allow sales reps and managers to flag critical moments in every conversation — including competitor mentions, customer objections, pricing attitudes, and questions — without listening to the full recording. Custom keywords can be added to track product launches, competitive terms, or any topic critical to closing deals. \*\*Opportunity Insights\*\* automatically analyze call content and display deal-relevant signals — such as objections, risks, pricing discussions, and next steps — directly on the Salesforce opportunity record. Reps can jump straight to the relevant transcript snippet and take action without digging through entire conversations. \*\*AI-Generated Call Summaries\*\* provide fast, structured overviews of every conversation, highlighting key moments like objections, pricing, next steps, and decision-maker mentions. Sellers can get up to speed at a glance and navigate directly to relevant transcript sections. \*\*Call Explorer\*\* enables natural language search across all conversations, allowing users to ask questions like "Which deals mentioned pricing?" or "Where did competitors come up?" to instantly surface key moments, risks, and pipeline trends without manually reviewing transcripts. \*\*Custom Conversation Insights\*\* let teams configure AI-generated outputs tailored to their specific needs — such as customer sentiment analysis, key takeaways, or SWOT analyses — delivered directly on the call record so sellers can act on context immediately. \*\*Pipeline Management\*\* capabilities empower Agentforce agents to use conversation data to automatically update opportunity fields — such as next steps and deal stage — keeping pipeline data current in real time without burdening reps with manual CRM updates. \*\*Deal Guidance\*\* delivers personalized, AI-driven recommendations and early warnings to sellers based on real conversation data, surfacing next-best actions and flagging risks like stalled momentum or missing stakeholders — all in the flow of work. \*\*Personalized Email Follow-Ups\*\* ground AI-generated follow-up emails in actual call content, enabling reps to send timely, relevant messages with a single click that reflect what was discussed, what comes next, and what matters most to the buyer. \*\*Coaching Clips\*\* automatically clip the most important moments from customer calls and deliver them to managers in Slack as soon as a call ends, enabling proactive coaching on deal risks, churn signals, and product feedback. \*\*Conversation Mining\*\* provides a birds-eye view of trends across all team calls, helping sales leaders identify what customers are saying about competitors and products, uncover patterns stalling deals, and redefine sales programs and competitive plays accordingly. Einstein Conversation Insights is an add-on to Salesforce Sales Cloud and is included in Sales Cloud Unlimited Edition, as well as the Sales Engagement and Sales Programs add-ons. It integrates with voice and video recording providers and connects with the broader Salesforce ecosystem including Agentforce, Slack, MuleSoft, and AppExchange partners.

"Powerful Lead Tracking, Though the Many Options Take Time to Learn"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

I like having customer and prospect information available in one system instead of checking different spreadsheets or email. It helps me understand lead status, review previous interactions, update follow-up activities, and get a basic view of the sales pipelines as a trainee. It also gives me a better understanding of how sales teams manage prospects through different stages. The lead tracking and activity management features are my favorite. I can check the current status of a lead, see previous activities, and understand what follow-up needs to happen next. The interface is structured and provides a lot of information. It took me some time to understand the different sections, but regular use made navigation much easier. The integrations are helpful because sales and marketing activities usually involve CRM, communication, productivity, and project management tools. Connecting these systems reduces repeated data entry and makes collaboration easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

There are many features and configuration options which can be a little overwhelming initially. I sometimes need guidance to understand which fields, reports, or processes are relevant to my work. The platform becomes easier once I get familiar with the team's setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps keep sales and marketing information organized and reduces dependency on separate spreadsheets for tracking prospects. I can see lead progress, follow-up activities, and customer information in one place. This makes it easier to coordinate with senior team members and understand which prospects or activities need attention. The lead tracking and activity management features are my favorites. I can check the current status of a lead, see previous activities, and understand what follow-up needs to happen next. The performance has been reliable for my daily activities such as checking leads, updating records, reviewing customer information, and monitoring sales tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My journey with Salesforce sales cloud"

5/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The best part of Sales cloud is the way is it is available to handle the information of customer/partner etc, the standard crm process based on market needs. It provides the setup that doesnt need much of hassle to maintain . It meets the use case ofmarketing, sales, presales, business leaders ( for reports & dashboards), assignment . It already has out of box feature to automate the business rules and process. During my experience working with multiple companies, i have seen how easy its to use the sales cloud setuo as a end user as well as from business perspective. It highly increases the productivity of sales person and also scalable to meet all the business scenarios. There are lot of appexchange products that can be easily integrated to meet custom solution too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

One of the disadvantages is the pricing for different editions. Not every kind of company can afford the license cost. The enterprise edition, for example, has several limitations which then require additional costs for more flexibility. Salesforce releases new features at such a fast pace that it's not always possible to keep up to date with them. Sales Cloud is very vast, and for someone to implement a complex use case, they need to know a lot, like customizable forecasts and revenue generation. Companies charge a lot to implement Sales Cloud if you are outsourcing to consulting firms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

In our organization, we are utilizing Sales Cloud to handle the B2B onboarding process, which is currently a complex process. With robust process automation, we are able to streamline the entire sales process. This results in reduced manual intervention, tailored solutions for our process, easy-to-maintain CRM processes, and visibility into pipeline information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Salesforce CRM Gives Us the Tools We Need to Succeed "

5/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

We love that there are constant enhancements delivered every six months. Salesforce is committed to improving their product and it shows thru their regular scheduled updates. We also love that Salesforce is a "platform" that allows nearly unlimited customizations to fit our business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Obviously the biggest problem is price. Salesforce is definitely not the cheapest option, but it does give us a great ROI as we are able to save in other areas because of Salesforce's tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Salesforce Sales Cloud:

I highly recommend Salesforce. It is the largest CRM company in the world for a reason. It offers continual updates and enhancements, and can be customized to any company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're literally using Salesforce to handle almost all of our issues. It's helping us schedule technicians for service and installation, it's helping us resolve customer cases, it helps us sell to customers, and it handles our billing. It really handles quite a bit more than that as we are increasingly finding ways to utilize the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Salesforce is the best tool I've ever worked with."

5/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

4 years of working with Salesforce.com have made me a raving fan. It is the most user-friendly, intuitive, scalable and powerful application I have ever worked with in my professional career. As a developer, I've been able to accomplish things using Salesforce that would require weeks and months of work to implement in other systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The few frustrations I have stem from the multi-tenancy model which can occasionally provide some amount of inflexibility. Some limitations exist that can create issues and require workarounds or additional development effort to avoid those limits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have implemented a broad range of business processes that touch CRM. Examples are:

- Customer portals that allow users to build self-service quotes from a product catalog

- Integration with ERP systems to bring shipment data to the customer

- Quotation Management Systems

- Campaign and Event Management

- Detailed market analytics based on sales and integration with ERP systems Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Agentforce Coworker Has Completely Changed How Our Sellers Work With Our CRM"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Coworker’s ability to tap into all of our data through premade connectors allows it to surface information that was previously siloed. It gives us a complete picture of each customer across the entire customer lifecycle—from marketing to engagement, conversion, post-sales, and customer success—and it includes partner data as well. Anyone in the business can quickly find the customer data they need and put it to use immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The complexity created by having so much customization can be a real challenge. What makes the product strong can also feel like a burden at times. With so many customization options, it’s easy for things to become overwhelming, and it can take a significant effort to administer and manage effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our entire sales process is managed through Agentforce for Sales. From prospecting to customer success, everything lives inside Salesforce. The visibility into our lead-to-cash process couldn’t be simpler, and it’s tailored to our industry. Being able to keep the entire process in a single application makes it easy to stay organized and aligned across the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Customizable Sales Platform—But Needs Onboarding to Tame Complexity"

3/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

As a sales team lead, AgentForce Sales has helped my team improve pipeline visibility, automate repetitive tasks, and maintain consistent engagement with prospects through the sales cycles. The platform combines CRM capabilities with AI-driven insights, making it easier to manage opportunities, forecast revenue, and improve sales productivity. The biggest advantage of AgentForce Sales is its ability to centralize customer information, sales activities, and pipeline management in a single platform. This gives sales representatives and managers a complete view of customer interactions and opportunity progress. I regularly use it for lead and opportunity management, pipeline tracking, sales tracking, sales forecasting, activity monitoring, team performance management, customer relationship tracking, and sales process automation. The AI-powered recommendations help sales reps prioritize opportunities and focus on high-value activities. The interface is modern and highly customizable. It integrates well with a broad sales technology stack. I have integrated it with Jira and Google Workspace. Performance is reliable for managing customer data, tracking activities, generating reports, and monitoring sales performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

I don't like that the platform can feel complex for new users due to its extensive functionality, customization options, and configuration settings. While flexibility is powerful, it can require additional training and onboarding before sales representatives become fully productive. I have also found that a highly customizable environment can sometimes make workflows more complicated than necessary, particularly when multiple teams have different processes and reporting requirements. Maintaining consistency across dashboards, fields, and automation rules requires ongoing administration and governance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps to solve several critical challenges related to lead management, pipeline visibility, sales productivity, forecasting, and customer relationship management. Before implementing the platform, tracking opportunities, monitoring sales activities, and maintaining consistent sales processes across the team required significant manual effort. It solves problems such as limited visibility into the sales pipelines, inconsistent sales processes across team members, manual data entry and administrative work, difficulty prioritizing high-value opportunities, forecasting inaccuracies, and lack of centralized customer information. It's very valuable for lead and opportunity management, sales forecasting and pipeline tracking, customer relationship management, activity monitoring, coaching performance reporting, and revenue planning. From a business perspective, AgentForce Sales has helped me to improve forecasting accuracy, increase sales productivity, reduce administrative workflow, improve pipeline visibility, and enhance customer engagement, supporting more predictable revenue growth. "Great app for sales people to manage their work"

5/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Sales people can easily use Sales Cloud to track their work even if they don't have a lot of technical experience. It tracks leads, accounts, contacts and opportunities and the screens are very similar so it's easy to learn. The platform is very customizable so it can be tailored to your specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Many features are add-ons from Salesforce or third party partners, so your investment will probably go up over time and the complexity of administration/maintenance will go up too. This is probably true of all important company systems but it's just not always pointed out during the sales process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Sales Cloud to track the prospects and deals that our sales team is working on. We can see it all in one place, report on it and see charts and graphs without having to ask individuals for updates or export data to excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"✍️ Powerful and Flexible, but Complex and Expensive"

5/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

✍️ Salesforce is highly configurable and can support complex sales processes without forcing the business into a rigid model. Its biggest strengths are the ecosystem, automation capabilities, reporting, and the number of integrations available with other enterprise systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

✍️ Salesforce can become complex to administer, especially as customizations, automations, and integrations accumulate over time. The platform changes frequently, which can create additional admin effort and require users to continuously adapt. Licensing and add on costs can also increase quickly. In addition, the sales approach can sometimes feel overly aggressive, particularly around upgrades, additional products, and renewals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Sales Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

✍️ Agentforce Sales gives us a central place to manage customer information, opportunities, sales activities, and pipeline visibility. It reduces fragmented information across teams and improves reporting and follow up. Its integrations and automation capabilities also help connect Salesforce with other business systems and streamline repetitive sales processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Agentforce Sales Centralizes Customer Data with Powerful Dashboards and Automation"

4/5

What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

What I like most is how it keeps all customer and sales information in one place, making it much easier to manage leads, opportunities, and follow-ups. The reporting and dashboards provide a clear view of pipeline performance, and the automation features help reduce repetitive tasks so sales teams can spend more time building relationships and closing deals. I also like how customizable it is and how well it integrates with other tools, making it adaptable for different business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

While Agentforce Sales is a powerful platform, it has a fairly steep learning curve, especially for new users. Some tasks can require multiple clicks or feel more complex than they need to be, and customizing workflows or reports often requires additional training or administrative support. It can also become expensive as businesses add more features or users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Agentforce Sales helps centralize customer information, track leads and opportunities, and automate repetitive sales tasks. This makes it easier to stay organized, collaborate across teams, and gain better visibility into the sales pipeline. The biggest benefit is spending less time on manual administrative work and more time focusing on customer relationships and closing deals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
