I especially appreciate being able to view my pipelines to see where every file is in the process, when it was received, and what we might be missing to complete the file. Sending requests for documents is extremely helpful! A significant number of our clients prefer to use the online tools, which saves us a considerable amount of time compared to in-person appointments or even just accepting drop-offs. I love being able to look at a client file and find all the relevant information in one place, including communications, documents, signatures, and workflow, rather than using multiple systems. Locking documents to invoices has been a game changer! I'm no longer wasting time with phone calls or emails to remind clients that they need to pay their invoices. I can't describe the joy it brings to receive a completed organizer, with all relevant documentation, engagement letter, etc, so I can prepare a tax return, send out for approval, request signatures, and payment, all using one tool, and then get back the completed file from the client sometimes in a matter of minutes! Everything is done! All I have to do is e-file. This saves immeasurable amounts of time! Learning the system was surprisingly straightforward. There are tons of "how-to" videos, which are extremely useful when getting started. It's a complex system, but it's very well-organized and easy to navigate. Plus, customer support is always available in chat, which made the transition much easier. We were able to move and integrate all of our client data in one upload. TaxDome has become an indispensable tool in our daily operations! **What do you dislike about TaxDome?** It's a bit pricey, but I think in terms of time, it saves us; it has more than paid for itself! There are lots of templates, which are a great tool to get you started. But you need to take the time to customize the templates for your office. Once we got all of our organizers and templates set up, they are easy to use. However, they don't come fully customized "straight out of the box." New users need to dedicate time to learning and customizing everything that goes to client-facing. I recommend doing a lot of tests before releasing your first organizer, because sometimes getting everything to work just as you want it can be tricky. Once you have released a bunch of organizers, you can't change them after the fact. Send your first handful of organizers to friendly clients who will help you run down issues. We've been using onedrive for client files and taxdome allows for the documents to be stored in a much cleaner way. It's also a lot easier to share clients safely with my clients. Implementation went smoothly with the help of the taxdome team. It's a learning experience in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it's second nature. I use it all day every day. Can't imagine going back. **What do you dislike about TaxDome?** My one qualm is that I cannot directly print from my tax software into taxdome, for some reason my tax software is giving me problems but the tax dome team is working on it. **What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to streamline my process. It has allowed me to teach staff easier by adding instructions to all tasks, thus speeding up the training process. It allows for safe sharing of files without the need for me to set passwords for everything thus saving me time. It also saves me time in getting paid. ### 47. The use of pipelines allows us to automate several of the admin items to free up time, clients love how user friendly it is, and tags make it so easy to keep things organized. Lots of great features all in one place. The program is easy to implement and the more we use it, the more features we discover that help us streamline tasks even further. **What do you dislike about TaxDome?** There are a few feature improvements I'm anxious to see implemented, like being able to save multiple files to the same folder for different clients instead of having to choose the destination folder individually. I will say that TaxDome does a wonderful job of listening to their client needs and working on resolutions. Customer Service is top-notch and always accessible, and that's a huge plus. **What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to consolidate our client portal, billing, and workflow tracking processes into one program has been a huge benefit and time-saver.
