**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

Improvement from our prior tech stack (SmartVault & Asana). Clients seem to prefer it over SmartVault.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

Integration with RightNetworks takes extra steps and costs versus SmartVault. Onboarding was rough. Automations limit the personalized client touch. Desktop app severely lacking in keyboard shortcuts. Not Mac friendly (I use Windows, my admin uses a Mac).

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client portal and project management, keeping track of tax returns

If an improvement over your prior tech stack is a 1.5 star, I wonder how you felt before TaxDome.

We’re happy your clients like it - providing an outstanding client experience is something we pride ourselves on and will continue to invest in.

With regards to your dislikes --- outside platforms and hosting companies have various security protocols and to install desktop applications, often require additional steps from the client (you). There are no extra steps to use the web application, but when working in a remote environment their security policies may vary about installing software. In general, TaxDome works on all hosting platforms - Verito, RightNetworks, and more. We’ll reach out to our reps there to ensure a seamless process for all TaxDome users.

We’d love to hear about your onboarding process-  please email support@taxdome.com and we’ll route you to our onboarding team. It sounds like you’re not using shortcodes in your automations - by adding them, you can make automations seem like they were sent individually. Of course - by definition, all automations are, well, automated - but the flip side is doing things manually!

We have good news for your admin - our MacOS application is in beta!
