**What do you like best about Personio?**

We have been using Personio for three years and experience the software as a significant relief in our administrative HR processes. Many procedures are now more structured, efficient, and transparent than before. Particularly positive for us is that Personio continuously evolves and adapts workflows and system logics to new and growing requirements in the HR field. One gets the impression that the system develops sensibly in the background without the need for the customer to actively request every improvement.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

From our perspective, not all tools are fully developed yet. Particularly in the area of "performance/competency models" and in the "planning" tool, we still see potential. However, the basic idea of the tools is very good and could create significant added value both in the performance area and in job and personnel planning. We would like customer feedback to be incorporated into further development more quickly so that the tools can realize their full potential faster.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personio helps us primarily to manage administrative HR processes more efficiently and to noticeably reduce operational effort. This saves us time in day-to-day business, gives us more overview, and allows us to map our personnel processes cleanly, traceably, and scalably. Especially in a growing environment, this is a clear advantage for us.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

Personio impresses with a modern layout and a simple and intuitive operation. In case of questions or problems, support is quickly and easily available. Particularly noteworthy is the continuous development of the system and the openness to feedback from the customer's perspective.

A major added value is the automated workflows, which allow many requirements to be implemented independently and efficiently. For example, absence requests are automatically forwarded to the responsible manager or representative for approval and are recorded directly in the absences after approval. This creates a transparent and smooth approval process without additional coordination effort. Personio also offers clear advantages in onboarding: We have created an individual step-by-step guide through automations, so local HR managers are optimally supported and all necessary tasks are structured.

Additionally, employees can manage and update many of their data and concerns independently, which significantly reduces the administrative effort in HR.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Of course, Personio is not quite as customizable as perhaps other major providers in this field, but our ideas have often been met with very positive responses, and some have already been successfully implemented. Another optimization suggestion from our side concerns the time stamping: It would be desirable if employees could directly select a project when starting or pausing their working time (e.g., business trip, home office, ...), as this is currently only relatively cumbersome to implement and poses a problem, especially when stamping for business trips.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personio helps us to digitize our HR processes and largely map them centrally in one system. As a result, and also due to the possibility for employees to maintain and correct many data themselves, numerous manual and administrative tasks are eliminated, leading to significant time savings and a more efficient way of working. Overall, the administrative effort in HR is noticeably reduced, leaving more time for strategic and value-adding topics.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

Personio is best convincing due to its very high usability, which is easily accessible even for less digitally savvy employees and enables quick acceptance within the company.

From a corporate perspective, the close support from the Key Account Manager and the structured, prompt support are particularly noteworthy. This continuous support is, in our view, a clear added value.

Additionally positive is the possibility to flexibly connect own systems to Personio via API interfaces, thus ensuring seamless integration into existing system landscapes.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

The editing rights for time tracking could be designed more restrictively from our perspective. However, this is certainly a cultural issue.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Personio, we benefit from a largely paperless personnel management within the framework of legal requirements, allowing processes to be designed more efficiently and modernly. Employee annual reviews are digitally supported, structured, documented, and thus made evaluable. This creates a transparent basis to specifically identify where our talents are located within the company and which employee groups have specific training or development needs. At the same time, role-based access for managers to relevant personnel information and documents leads to a noticeable reduction in inquiries from the specialist departments, as much information is directly available and can be independently accessed. This sustainably relieves the HR department and makes collaboration within the company more efficient overall.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

It is intuitive, easy to use, you quickly find your way around, and there are many possibilities to integrate this software into our company. Overall, I am impressed by the range of services. We use the Premium Support and usually receive an answer to all our questions within minutes. Additionally, we have a personal contact person who helps us optimally integrate the processes, introduces new possibilities, and continuously develops the usage. Working with Personio is really fun!

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Personio is a software that is used in many companies. Therefore, we occasionally encounter limitations with our requests that we cannot implement because it is, after all, a standard software. However, so far we have always been able to find a good alternative, and sometimes it's not so bad to have to come to terms with new circumstances.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many locations in Germany, each unique in certain areas and representing processes differently. Personio helps us to standardize such processes and create new structures. This ultimately means less effort in managing these processes. And Personio has already digitized and automated many of our processes. It's just really fun to create such automations and see how many of our employees are significantly relieved as a result.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

We are quite satisfied with most factors - especially, since Personio has also integrated payroll features and the tiresome export (of HRIS data) and re-import (of salary slips) can be avoided in this way.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Not impressed about the reporting features: I don't uderstand the setup of individual reports (what is included/what is not) and some reports lack the necessary depth our BI team seamlessly provides when given the raw data (e.g., fluctuation -> correct by voluntary. Gender pay gap -> give correcte and uncorrected. Sickness rate -> correct by long-term). You can all do that, but it's not a standard feature/filter/drill-down which I would expect.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* having all HR data in one system
* documenting in accordance wiht German GDPR and employment law
* having all employees handle processes (like bank account/address updates, sickness, ...) in the same very simple process
* being easy to use for C-Level "viewers" also

**What do you like best about Personio?**

Personio is a very flexible system that allows us to set up different workflows for the multiple countries we operate in. We now have all checklists in one system, which ensures us we never forget steps in, for example, onboarding or offboarding of colleagues. They have many options for integrations, and have an open API, so you can link it with your other software.

A big plus for me is that you don't need a consultant to change a workflow. They have a ton of support articles, AI assistent or designated support consultants that can answer your questions if needed. 

We also use the Performance & Development module. Running complete cycles is easy and it allows you to get a full picture. You can use self-reviews, peer reviews (360 feedback) and manager reviews. The only thing I need more guidance on/research more, is to how to set up the module to proactively manage performance.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

It would be great if the system supported more manager and/or employee service options, for example that an employee can officially start a workflow if they want to reduce or increase their weekly working hours. 

Regarding the additional modules, e.g. the Performance & Development, signature, etc. I don't have any feedback. It works very well for us.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we used Personio, we had multiple sources of truth and now we have one. We did not run official performance reviews, and since implementing Personio, we are running review cycles. Our employee files are up-to-date and it is easier to give feedback.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I find all the important information for me as an employee in one place. Possible reasons for absence are very flexible. At my employer, we have a synchronization of our internal time tracking from Jira to Personio, and vice versa.

I can't say anything about the price of Personio as an employee. The interface is easy to use, and I find everything I need.

I often use the app on iOS to request absences. I don't have to log in on the PC first.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

There is nothing I miss. Everything I need is present.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage my timesheet, my payroll, the vacation of my colleagues and myself, so that there are no overlaps; HR documents are now exchanged and signed digitally only. Very practical! It goes faster without having to print things out.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I use Personio for everyday HR related tasks like applying for leave, tracking attendance, and accessing personal and company information. It makes handling HR processes easy without needing to go through manual steps or frequent follow-ups. I appreciate the clean and straightforward interface, which makes it quick to use even for simple tasks. This reduces back-and-forth communication as most information is readily available and up-to-date. It brings clarity and structure to everyday HR interactions and reduces the dependency on manual communication. I value the notification system and approval workflows as they keep me informed and updated without needing to follow up. The dashboard view is also helpful for getting a quick overview of important information.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

One area to improve is flexibility, especially in terms of customization and reporting. At times certain workflows feel a bit rigid and it's not always easy to tailor them to specific needs. Also, I have noticed performance issues like slow loading and minor glitches, although they don't happen frequently.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personio solves manual HR management, offering one place for leave applications, attendance tracking, and document access, improving transparency in approvals and saving time.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

Still very well integrated into our infrastructure – intuitive and easy to use, allowing employees to work with it without extensive training. The focus on self-service with defined release guidelines works well. We particularly value the broad integration options via API with systems like Microsoft 365 and others. However, we sometimes encounter API limitations regarding historical attributes and states.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

The number of paid add-ons is quite high. Often, we only need a small function, but it’s bundled into a paid add-on with many additional features we don’t use. As a result, the cost-benefit ratio doesn’t always fit.
Additionally, recent changes to pricing and tariffs have created some uncertainty, especially due to the frequency of adjustments and price increases.

Central HR, self-service for vacation and other absences. Synchronization with other systems. Posting of jobs. Management of applications.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

What we like most about Personio is that we can configure and manage many things ourselves. New ideas can be implemented quickly, and the system offers many opportunities to swiftly bring our own concepts of HR processes into practice. With Core Pro and Premium Support, we are very well positioned. Time tracking in Personio is straightforward and can be easily evaluated. Additionally, Personio offers many integrations and interfaces. If we have questions, we receive help very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Small things could be improved in the area of time tracking and preparatory payroll. However, if you give feedback here, you will be heard, and every month there are meaningful product updates.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Personio, we map employee management, as well as time tracking, digital files including digital signatures and document generation. Additionally, we are introducing the topic of preparatory payroll, making it comprehensive for us to simplify our daily HR experience, allowing us to focus on our employees and our HR strategy.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

-) Well working integrations with major tools such as Greenhouse or service providers such as remote.com. I like that we can now automate the creation of new employees between Greenhouse and Personio and don't have to manually add them anymore. 
-) Personio's interface is clear and easy to use from both an employee and an admin POV
-) There are little technical interruptions on the platform
-) The AI function of the chat can give satisfying answers to basic questions or problems

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

-) Price has increased significantly over the years
-) No direct support anymore, you first have to write a message to the general help line which often takes a long time to get a reply. The replies are not always helpful
-) A lot of the features are not customizable (e.g. when it comes to time tracking it would be nice to be able to customize based on the rules of different countries)

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do see a lot of things on the road map, but I honestly have to say that some improvements or solutions were not always for the best. E.g.:
-) the new time tracking that was introduced in 2024 is worse imo compared to the one before (the bulk tracking UX is horrible)
-) the depiction of yearly salaries introduced this year caused a lot of confusion for us in countries in which salaries exceed 12 monthly salaries

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I use Personio for registering my attendance, checking the org chart, consulting my payee receipts, and communicating with HR, especially signing needed documents. I appreciate the user-friendly interface, allowing me to do many things fast. Registering attendance is quick since I set my hours weekly or bi-weekly, and it's easy to submit. I also find it convenient to get contact information and the structure of teams by just typing in a name on the org chart. This feature is particularly useful and a time-saver in a big organization like mine. The initial setup was super easy and fast, which made my onboarding experience smooth.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Maybe the display on the org chart can go more fluid but it's something that doesn't affect my day to day.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Personio to quickly register attendance, check the org chart, and communicate with HR. It helps me find team info fast, like birthdays and emails. It's user-friendly, saving me time on tasks like scheduling and finding contacts in a big organization.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

Very intuitive platform that can cover many HR areas. Additionally, it is open to interfaces. Since the restructuring of support, it has been very helpful, and you receive quick assistance with issues.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Depending on the account size, there are sometimes issues with speed. Also, for example, there is no way to generate feedback requests in the context of creating certificates or similar, and unfortunately, a few functions that would be very useful are missing. There is also room for improvement in the reports. The system does not calculate hourly wages itself, which is an important factor for annual financial statements, e.g., for vacation provisions.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Especially with specific questions or problems, the Customer Success Manager is an important support. He is always approachable and pragmatic, and suitable out-of-the-box solutions are usually found. Particularly positive is the very quick support, which keeps response times short. Additionally valuable: assistance with interface issues or coordination with external service providers to create a holistic solution.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I appreciate the ease of use of Personio and the very good configurability, which allows us to consider every peculiarity of our 18 subsidiaries. The operation is intuitive and clearly structured. The customer support is absolutely top-notch; I quickly receive solutions to my support requests that are explained in a way that they can be implemented. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. The setup was unusual because you have to teach yourself the topics, but with the support of our contact person, everything worked out quickly and functioned from the start. Additionally, I am very satisfied with the interface to DATEV.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Standard evaluations and standard processes, such as personnel requests or salary increases, must be possible in the product. I need sickness rates, average salaries, annual salaries, evaluations for annual financial statements, and vacation provisions that are easily retrievable. Currently, the analysis module is still too complex and some data cannot be evaluated.

I use Personio for employee administration and payroll. The software is easy to use and configurable, ideal for our 18 subsidiaries. Customer service provides quickly understandable solutions.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I like the design and clarity of Personio, especially how the app is kept simple. I mostly appreciate the function of having a precise overview of my colleagues, who is present when, which is very helpful for personnel planning, both in terms of presence and absence. Just like the document management. Additionally, getting started with Personio is very easy, especially when you add more locations that you then integrate. You have to read up a bit at the beginning, but you are well supported.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

I think when importing files from Excel, it could be a bit smarter, perhaps with more AI so that the fields can be better matched or the content can be better recognized.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personio helps us coordinate and manage different policies per location, which is crucial due to our distributed locations in Germany. It simplifies cross-location HR management as well as defining and assigning roles.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I find it great that Personio is very intuitive and user-friendly. You quickly find your way around, have everything at a glance, and it leaves little to be desired. Especially the analysis section is very well structured. You no longer have to pull lists and edit them in Excel, as the preset reports cover most requests. Even if I have to build an analysis myself, it works very well. The initial setup was difficult (but that was 6 years ago ;-) ), but now, when new OpCos are added, it's a breeze. Personio allows us to have all important data and facts at a glance and in one place. The interaction with payroll works excellently.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

We sometimes have the problem that we are a very large company - with an international parent company, and not all requirements are always covered. In such cases, we sometimes have to improvise - but we always find a solution.

Personio centralizes information, facilitates internal communication and deadline setting. The onboarding and offboarding processes run smoothly, everyone is informed and knows what task comes next. The payroll process is also more efficient.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I like about Personio that everything is designed very simply and intuitively, which makes it easier to use. The ability to customize everything individually is a big plus. I find the recruiting module particularly helpful because it operates in compliance with GDPR and we don't have to worry about deadlines. The process is optimally structured and connected to various job platforms, which increases the reach of our job offers. The personnel file is great because it moves us away from paperwork and everything is stored in one place. Everything is quickly accessible, and employees also have access to the most important information. The payroll module is great because we can handle almost the entire payroll ourselves and no longer need an external service provider.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

The performance module could be improved so that every type of employee can request feedback via a feedback form. Additionally, support in the payroll area could be a bit faster.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personio takes care of all our administrative tasks, structures our processes, and reminds us of important things. It stores everything in compliance with GDPR and centrally, facilitates recruiting, and enables almost complete internal payroll accounting.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

Personio brings together several key HR functions in one tool. It’s very intuitive and easy to get familiar with, even for non-tech people. You can build clear standards and continue to grow with the system as your needs evolve. The “back end,” especially the settings, is straightforward to manage and doesn’t require extensive tool knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

If you have multiple entities, it can get pretty hard to manage everything individually. You basically have to establish a standard that all entities need to follow, without exceptions. There are also some random bugs that are business-critical, and extra hours cannot be imported.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Personio, it’s possible to get an easy overview of all your HR data. You don’t need several systems because everything is in one place. I find the all-in-one package from Personio great, having everything in one place is super. It offers all employees the opportunity to acquire knowledge, and it's free. I stay well-informed about legal changes without having to dig through everything, which is important in my role. The regular newsletters automatically keep me up to date. The Personio Academy is also a plus, as it is accessible to every employee. The initial setup of Personio was not difficult, everything was well understandable and self-explanatory.

The implementation of Personio Payroll was very challenging from my perspective, and sometimes there is still doubt whether all the information was entered correctly. It was advertised that Personio Payroll could be introduced without expertise. From my point of view, however, a lot of expertise was needed to fill in the Excel tables and execute all the entries properly. Otherwise, I don't really like the "Goals" tab and the associated goal management yet. The view here is very confusing and can still be improved.

The automation possibilities in Personio are impressive because they are very diverse, and I can set up automation for almost any topic. Above all, the payroll system is easy to handle when everything is set up correctly because then you hardly have to do anything manually. This automation saves work time while achieving the same result, which really helps me.

Personio Payroll is still a relatively new part of Personio. There are a few exceptions that are not yet represented in the system, and you have to manually submit reports via the SV reporting portal. However, for us, these have really been absolute exceptions so far.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Personio is not yet mature in the area of billing systems and cannot represent some benefits. The interfaces between the tools are problematic because the developers do not collaborate and the tools are not interconnected. The API is not good, which makes integrations with other applications difficult. The ideas are good, but often the necessary connections are missing, for example between competency models, performance, and compensation. The implementation of goals has also not been successful, especially with sub-goals for employees. Onboarding and offboarding processes also have gaps, for example, checklists for specific situations such as pregnancy, contract changes (team changes, title changes, etc.) are missing - these cannot be well represented through workflows, as the workflows can only proceed step by step and cannot start workflows simultaneously, such as when there is a change and multiple departments receive a to-do at the same time, leading to delays in the workflow if it gets stuck at one point. The setup was simple but time-consuming with a lot of manual effort.

Personio simplifies the management of attendance and absences, which works well through the app. It is a digital HR software that supports processes like onboarding and offboarding, even though these can still be improved. Unfortunately, the training area is not well developed at all.

I appreciate the intuitive use of Personio. The customization options the system offers me are great, and the self-service is gladly used. I find the integration with other tools like DATEV particularly helpful, as it significantly eases my work as an HR manager. Additionally, Personio simplifies work processes by allowing employees to independently change their data and set reminders. Payrolls are automatically entered into the system and are available as PDFs, which also makes the HR process more efficient. Overall, the system works efficiently and well, while also being compliant with data protection regulations.

On one hand, I think it's good that innovations are released quickly, but sometimes they are released somewhat hastily and are not quite as well-developed as they should be. And sometimes, less is more in HR. That means functions should really work well before they are released. I work in Germany, and as Personio was built in Germany, it reflects the specifics of the legislation here. It also develops and is more and more user friendly. What is important on governance level, it is IT - and GDPR compliant. 
The core model allows covering all the basics even for small companies.
In the end we did not come to use of other modules but I know it from other context/companies. I think it is very cool that the software develops, offers more modules and areas to cover, integrations etc. At a company with 20 people I cannot make such a big use of it. But from my previous experience, with bigger organizations and more workload (e.g. onboarding/offboarding) it performs better. I could consider it a very holistic solution.

The system is accessible without specific IT support or knowledge, therefore an average person that understands a bit of technology/systems and HR can setup the system independently. I did not use onboarding option at the end, but it is available, shoul you struggle.
Did not get to AI benefits so far. Personio offers a lot of webinars and a great knowledge base to users to be self-sufficient, which I love.


The price is still a bit too high for me. With more employees and actions it would have to ma a better ROI.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

I really like it, however I am not always able to follow up on all updates and releases. I could imaging a  bit more flexibility in the the onboarding/offboarding process.

What I miss is a central repository. THe point is, I can have employee data/files in the system, but don't have a shelf/folder where I could store other HR relevant data that I don't want to have on Drive etc. 

Also a kind of library for employees with policies etc. would do. 

Assets management as an optional feature.

Absence management in first line. It is audited and trackable.

Earlier it was an excel list, where we could not follow up on changes and did not have an approval system in place.

What I like most about Personio is its modern interface and user experience. It breaks the friction caused by communications and procedures with HR, and it's organized visually in such a way that it's almost intuitive to know where each element is. I haven't needed to ask anyone how to navigate and use the interface. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple; just by doing the first login with SSO, I was able to start using it without any issues.

Perhaps as a small improvement in signings, I would like the possibility of doing it with a plugin via app, API, or smartphone application. It would also be useful to have a browser plugin, or for MAC/Linux/Windows, to make it easier without having to open the browser tab.

Payroll accounting via the DATEV interface and retrieving documents from DATEV with a single click work very well once the initial setup is complete. This streamlines our processes, and our colleagues have easy access to their pay stubs at any time.

One-off pay components still need to be provided via the payroll export, but that is also down to DATEV itself. I feel it’s clear that Personio has shifted its focus towards large corporations in terms of its target customer base. Due to the steady growth in customer numbers, support response times have also increased, but perhaps this is only temporary.

Personio simplifies onboarding and offboarding for all parties involved and massively accelerates the process. In addition, all personnel documents are collected in one place and can be quickly located if necessary. Design to only use Personio for all functions, if you have e.g. payroll outsourced, it's hard to make things work and lots of manual effort is required. Challenges if you operate in different countries.

I particularly appreciate the ability to manage vacation days, absences, and time tracking in daily business. The filing function for contract and salary documents, performance records, employee interviews, and salary developments is very helpful. The corresponding reporting functions make further optimization easier for HR and management. Additionally, it is very easy to handle and intuitive to use, which is a big plus. Personio requires no extensive training and the connection to DATEV for payroll accounting is also advantageous.

For very small companies, Personio might be too powerful and therefore also too expensive. You really have to want to use it with all its features so that it is not just a simple storage tool. Integrations with common tools and applications in the HR field are seamlessly possible. I can't make a price comparison, but I usually find the price-performance ratio to be reasonable. The onboarding is professionally set up, the support usually works well, but sometimes you have to wait longer for answers and after completing the onboarding, you no longer have a direct contact person. The AI function is helpful.

I like the intuitive use of Personio and the ability to administer it myself and adapt it to our needs. It eliminates manual processes and enables full automation of all HR processes, so no more Excel lists or reminders are needed. Personio is constantly evolving, with product updates released monthly.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

When new modules are implemented, they were sometimes not yet mature enough to have the full range of functions and/or unfortunately also contained bugs. The rapid development of Personio has the advantage of quickly getting the changes you might need, but it also carries the risk of missing something; you have to actively follow all the changes.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personio eliminates manual processes in personnel management, fully automates all personnel processes, and makes Excel lists and reminders unnecessary.

There are also occasional small bugs or features that could offer more flexibility. However, improvements and updates are released regularly, which is definitely appreciated.

Personio helps us centralize and streamline many HR processes that were previously handled manually or across different tools. Tasks like employee data management, onboarding, absences, and document handling are much more efficient now. This saves time, reduces administrative effort.

I used Personio to store all my documents in one place, which I really appreciate. Tracking leave is very easy, and it’s convenient to apply and track leaves. I also like that my company can easily access the personal information I provide. Keeping all my personal documents safe and easily accessible is a big plus for me. The high level of security, where only I can access my documents, is something I value. Personio makes it easy to access documents like contracts, ID proofs, and policy acknowledgements and avoid the risk of losing important files or searching through emails and folders. The initial setup was very easy due to the better user interface of Personio.

Certain modules like payroll or time tracking could be more advanced.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I find Personio easy to use and very user-friendly. It is especially well usable for end users, as we had to conduct few training sessions because it is very intuitive. The support is very nice. The initial setup went quite well with several onboarding calls and various templates to upload data.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Payroll is not yet well integrated with Core everywhere, which can sometimes lead to confusion on the admin side. For example, I cannot pay out overtime using the standard button, but have to take an extra step to pay it out.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that Personio particularly simplifies vacation and absence management and transparently displays employees' overtime and vacation balances. It's also great that everything related to employment can be found in one place.

Personio simplifies a variety of HR processes – for both employees and employers. Thanks to numerous templates and automated calculations, hiring processes, time tracking and payroll, vacation and overtime approvals, as well as the creation of contracts and certificates become significantly easier and more transparent.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

The use of placeholders in document templates is not yet fully developed. More options and a clearer, more intuitive handling would be desirable here, so that placeholders can be used more easily and clearly overall.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Personio, we had very labor-intensive, manual processes for creating contracts and certificates, tracking working hours, and approving vacations and overtime. With Personio, we were able to standardize and partially automate these processes. This saves us resources in the long term, reduces manual effort, and simultaneously increases quality.

I find using Personio enjoyable and intuitive. The user interface is aesthetic, which contributes to a positive user experience. I particularly appreciate the integration options with other systems, as we can seamlessly integrate it with our existing system landscape through custom integrations. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

Feedbacks cannot be accessed via API. Goals and feedbacks are not integrated with each other. I would like to be able to query goal achievements in feedback discussions, but unfortunately, the modules do not communicate with each other. Also, the fact that competency models are now available is still too short-sighted - because the positioning of competency models also belongs in feedback discussions. But that is not possible yet.

Personio creates order and makes us faster. The operation is fun and intuitive, which contributes to a positive UX.

I appreciate the review templates that Personio offers. The system is intuitive and clear, and it is nicely designed. I like that I can adjust things after a bit of searching, and I love the feeling of having control myself, instead of having to arrange everything through support.

Because there is a lot possible and because I can change a lot myself, it can sometimes also be the case that something is still set incorrectly as a result.

I use Personio to store personnel data and draft flawless contracts. It prevents errors because data can be reused. The system is intuitive and clear. I can have documents signed and it gives me control without needing constant support.

**What do you like best about Personio?**

I use Personio for my day-to-day tasks and I find it very helpful. I can apply for, edit, or delete leaves, which is a major feature for me. It also helps that I can update my personal information, which is useful for the company's record-keeping. Uploading documents like salary slips and medical insurance is convenient too. As an HR, I appreciate being able to edit other teammates' details and leaves. Personio is very user-friendly and easy to understand. Even though there have been many changes over the years, the UI remains simple and doesn't feel tough at all. The initial setup was straightforward because of how easy the UI is.

**What do you dislike about Personio?**

There's nothing much improvement needed in Personio, except it would be helpful if we could share documents through Personio itself when needed.

**What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Personio to manage day-to-day HR tasks like applying for and editing leaves, updating personal info, and storing documents. It keeps attendance records, centralizes my documents, and holds personal and professional details, which is efficient for both me and my organization.
