# Which foodservice distribution platforms deliver the most responsive support and hands-on implementation assistance based on user reviews?

Looking for input from G2 reviewers and operations directors, IT managers, and project leads at food distributors in the Foodservice Distribution Software category, specifically from those who have been through a full foodservice distribution software implementation.

The platforms with the strongest implementation quality and support responsiveness evidence:

Aptean Food & Beverage ERP: The food safety and traceability functionality that arrives pre-configured for HACCP, SQF, and BRC compliance means the implementation team spends time on distribution-specific workflow configuration rather than explaining food industry basics.

BlueCart: The support team's responsiveness for a platform whose primary function is digital order management is credited for keeping the order flow operational even when restaurant customers encounter login or ordering issues during peak service periods.

Latitude WMS: The implementation team's knowledge of food safety requirements is credited for configuring the system to the operational standards that regulatory compliance demands from the first day of live operations.

For operations leaders who have been through a foodservice distribution software implementation in the past three years: what was the specific configuration that the implementation team got wrong on the first attempt that required the most rework, and was the root cause a lack of food industry knowledge, a misunderstood operational requirement, or a platform limitation that the implementation team did not disclose during the sales process?

To the configuration-mistake question: the pattern behind most of those stories is that implementations get scoped on the standard flow and fail on the exceptions, and foodservice is an exception-dense business, with catch-weight items, split cases, substitutions, and returns of temperature-sensitive product. A quick test of the industry-knowledge claims these vendors make: hand the implementation team your three weirdest SKUs and your ugliest credit scenario in the sales cycle, before signing, and watch whether they recognize the problems or write them down to research.
