Adobe acrobat isn't free, even trial requires card information for initial signup so you can't try individually without a valid card for initial 7 days trial only. Trial period also comes with limitation of the product usage.. If you have only pdf read requirement then reader version is free but playing around the pdf docs requires subscription.
