Reconciliation runs as a continuous, multi-stage process covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, loans, inventory, and fixed assets. The platform connects to financial institutions via Plaid or accepts uploaded bank statements, matches transactions against ledger records at a 95% auto-reconciliation confidence threshold, and surfaces items that require human review. For receivables, HORIZON integrates with Stripe via webhook-based GL posting so invoices, payment links, cash receipts, refunds, and related ledger activity are reflected in the books as they occur rather than uploaded at month end. The intelligence layer is where HORIZON departs from every other accounting platform in this category. Financial data inside the platform is continuously correlated against macroeconomic indicators, labor market data, trade and tariff databases, regulatory activity, sanctions screening, energy pricing, and contract and supplier data from federal sources. The platform uses your NAICS industry code and revenue band to apply benchmarked KPI thresholds that adjust to current macro conditions rather than static targets. It can model forward cash position under multiple scenarios, score supplier risk across tariff exposure and country risk, and deliver alerts against AR/AP aging, metric deltas, and threshold breaches without requiring a separate BI tool or analyst to pull it together. HORIZON includes more than 150 AI tools across 33 categories on the Advanced tier, operating in an agentic workflow model. The AI assistant handles natural language queries for balances, transaction history, reports, categorization, and cross-period analysis. Agentic tasks run on a two-tier approval model where routine operations execute automatically and changes to the books surface for human approval before being applied. Conversation memory and semantic caching maintain context across sessions.
