Ease of use is insane for a system this complex. I came from zero hotel background and just figured it out. Implementation was smoother than I expected. Support actually picks up and knows what they're talking about. We use it every single day across all departments. The fact that PMS, POS and IBE all talk to each other is a game changer. What do you like best about Hostaway?

So far, it has simplified my life immensely. I’ve been able to automate a lot of what I was previously doing manually across 6 properties. My team can access the calendar for all bookings, so nothing gets missed, and they can immediately see if someone cancels. What do you dislike about Hostaway?

Nothing negative so far. It’s fairly simple to use overall, although I did need a bit of help setting up the website because that part is a little more complicated. What problems is Hostaway solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was managing six properties that aren’t even in the same town, let alone the same country. I was trying to organise team members manually, one by one, while also keeping up with constant booking changes and the endless, repetitive questions that come with them. What do you like best about Hospitable.com?

I use Hospitable.com to manage my short-term rental properties, and it really streamlines things for me by putting all my bookings from various companies like Airbnb and Booking.com into one place, making my life much easier. I find the setup quite easy, and I spent a day familiarizing myself with the software, tweaking my properties to make the most of it. It's important to know the different features, and for the most part, the software works well. What do you dislike about Hospitable.com?

I think Hospitable.com could be improved by adding a feature to temporarily delist a property on a particular booking page like booking.com and then, at a certain point, automatically relist the property. This would allow me to favor a particular property system over another, and as I get closer to a date when it needs to be occupied, it could then offer it to other portfolios. Competitive pricing on the platform (it's free) but travel (discounted) is a win. It allows easy to use policy creation, great UI and voice activated, via integration with Salesforce Agentforce voice to use on the go. The performance is top notch, support and onboarding is human even if automated and likely AI enabled. The AI features are additive, not excessive. I also like direct billing, the flexibility to cancel the same day, and having a charge card for off-platform purchases, along with additional travel rewards. What do you dislike about Engine?

Managing 4 properties across multiple countries could be a logistical nightmare. Cloudbeds makes it feel manageable. One login, consistent reporting, and the channel manager keeping everything in sync across OTAs - it just works.

What I appreciate most is not having to stitch together five different tools. Everything we need is there: reservations, rates, distribution, guest communication, reporting. For a lean team running multiple properties, that’s everything.

Distribution and rate management used to eat time we didn’t have. Keeping rates consistent across channels, avoiding overbookings, reacting to demand across properties in different markets. Cloudbeds handles all of that without us having to think about it.

But the biggest surprise has been guest experience. Even for OTA bookings where you’d normally know almost nothing about the guest before arrival the pre-check-in flow captures real data. By the time a guest walks in, we already know who they are. A few problems are simple bugs that occur, there was an update that helped us view specific reports when they were trying to be saved or printed.

Another bug that seemed to be fixed by skytouch is when payments would decline, and a new method of payment was added then that second payment would also decline. What do you like best about Lodgify?

The two best aspects of using Lodgify are their customer service and the speed/frequency of platform improvements.

Over my 2.5 years of using their software, I've contacted Lodgify customer service a dozen or more times; the representatives have always been responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. No phone trees. No AI chat bots. Just real humans who have been able to solve every issues I have brought to them.

They are also constantly making bug fixes and platform improvements. Their software is by no means perfect, but when there is an issue, they fix it quickly. They do seem to listen to customer feedback and incorporate it into each new feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lodgify?

Lodgify's software doesn't quite have the polish or reliability of a market leading PMS.

There are times when they are behind their competition in terms of necessary features. For example, when I first started using the tool there was no way to send an automated message to a guest immediately after they made their booking. You could only do automated messages for check in and check out. To their credit, this has since been remedied.

There are also commonly bugs/issues that impact my operations. Recently, there was a bug where the messaging tab did not display the name of the guest or any of the message history. he platform does an excellent job of responding to real-time market conditions, demand, local events, seasonality, and booking pace, allowing us to price more competitively without constantly making manual adjustments. What do you like best about Wheelhouse?

I like how easy and intuitive the user interface of Wheelhouse is to use. I also appreciate that it's not a black box, allowing data scientists like me to look into the underlying processes. Compared to its biggest competitors, Wheelhouse is much more transparent. That transparency is one of the signals that gives me trust that it is a more advanced product. I’m able to dive into as much detail as I want, customize the things that are important or that I want to test, and still leverage as many of the very easy-to-use recommended features. There's a lot of optionality in terms of what parts you're using the recommendation engine for and what parts you want to customize specifically. Setting up Wheelhouse was relatively easy — the support team was and still is incredible. I was able to set up a call with someone who walked me through all of my questions, stayed with me as long as I needed, and helped me configure the settings exactly how I wanted.
