“Transforms Data into Clear Visuals with Ease”
What do you like best about Tableau?

I use Tableau to turn raw data into clear and interactive dashboards that help me actually see data, track performance, and make smart decisions. I like that I can create complex dashboards without needing heavy coding and that Tableau can connect with multiple data sources, which is a significant feature for me. Tableau's strong sharing feature is great for team collaboration, as I can make and share dashboards that my team can access anytime without needing the original files. My team can see real-time dashboards, and the permission control makes sure the right people see the right data. The initial setup of Tableau was very easy and beginner-friendly, which I really appreciate. Uses it for 4-5 times a Week to generate reports and visualizations. Customer support is good, but I don't use it daily, but whenever I get my query resolved. Integrations i use are aws redshift and google sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

The licensing cost adds up quickly as more users need access, and it requires a good amount of system resources, so performance slows with large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Tableau to turn raw data into clear, interactive dashboards, making it easier to spot patterns, track performance, and make smart decisions. It brings multiple data sources together and streamlines reporting, facilitating team communication by sharing real-time dashboards without needing original files. Its integrations are very useful; I use Google Sheets with it to track usage of products and what my users (customers) like more, and its native connector for databases like AWS Redshift is being used for data visualization and streamline data analysis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Power BI from an Analyst’s Perspective: The Good, the Bad, and the DAX”
What do you like best about Microsoft Power BI?

One of the greatest strengths of Power BI is its seamless integration into the Microsoft ecosystem. For an analyst already working within Azure, SQL Server, or even just Excel, the connectivity is unmatched. It’s not just about moving data; it’s about the familiarity of the interface and the ease with which you can publish reports to Teams or SharePoint. Furthermore, the breadth of visualizations—both native and community-created—allows me to tell a compelling story that resonates with stakeholders, regardless of their technical literacy.

The true magic, however, happens when you have a well-constructed semantic model. When the backend logic is solid, the "drag-and-drop" simplicity of the front end is incredible. It empowers business users to perform their own ad-hoc analysis and build their own reports on top of the data model I’ve created. This self-service capability is a win-win: users get their answers faster, and I can focus on deep-dive analytics rather than tweaking minor chart formatting for every request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?

The biggest “trap” for beginners is definitely DAX. At first glance, it looks just like Excel formulas, which is really misleading. In reality, it’s a completely different animal. The underlying logic is fairly complex, and it’s very easy for a newcomer to get overwhelmed—or, even worse, to calculate something incorrectly because they didn’t understand the formula’s “context.” It’s a steep hill to climb before you start feeling confident with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Power BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work as a freelance data analyst, and Power BI is basically my daily driver. Before I started using it heavily, business data was usually a mess—scattered Excel files, manual exports, and too many disconnected sources. Power BI takes away that massive headache of data fragmentation by letting me pull everything into one place, so my clients finally have a single source of truth instead of five different versions of the same number.

For me, the biggest win is automation. I used to spend hours cleaning data, updating tables, and redoing the same steps over and over. Now, with Power Query, I can build the “pipes” once and let the data flow in and clean itself.

It also helps a lot with communication. Sometimes it’s hard to explain a complex trend in words, especially when people want to see what it means for them. Power BI lets me build interactive “What-If” scenarios where a client can move a slider and instantly see the impact on profit. It makes the results of my work more tangible, easier to understand, and ultimately more valuable to my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Helps minimize AI hallucinations”
What do you like best about Kyvos Semantic Layer?

We can plug our LLMs and AI agents seamlessly into Kyvos semantic layer (instead of connecting them to multiple raw data sources). It gives AI access to all our enterprise data with standardized business logic and definitions. This helps reduce hallucinations and improve accuracy of responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyvos Semantic Layer?

Slight learning curve for some of the advanced features, but once we got a hang of them things were fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kyvos Semantic Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?

As our organizational data runs into petabytes, we were finding it hard to train our AI agents on the complete data. This was creating blind spots and impacting contextual understanding and accuracy. Kyvos has helped us address this problem and we have been able to ship production-grade AI applications much faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Trustworthy solution for daily operations”
What do you like best about GoodData?

The positive aspect of GoodData that I like most is that it helps build confidence in decision making. Being aware of the fact that the numbers will not change overnight makes me talk to the teams better. I apply it on a regular basis, and it has minimized tension during reviews and executive meetings. I do not need to defend figures since I can be more effective by concentrating on the explanation of implications, which has led to my better performance at work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodData?

What I dislike about GoodData is that change can be really sluggish in cases where business questions change. Even minor changes can involve additional procedures, which influences my performance when it is essential to meet a strict deadline. This can at times translate to take longer than anticipated before updates are made to the business particularly when the leadership requires fast clarification in situations where it is needed most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodData solving and how is that benefiting you?

The issue of discrepancy of numbers between teams is resolved by GoodData. It brings about uniformity that is advantageous to my work since it minimizes debates and reworks. My colleagues use less time to query figures and do more of what they are told. In the daily life, meetings are briefer, decisions are clearer and I no longer have to go out of my way to get answers to the discrepancies in the results given by various sources. What do you like best about Knowi?

I use Knowi to dashboard ecommerce performance, and it's great because I no longer need to manage manual CSVs across multiple platforms. The dashboarding features are intuitive, making my data easy to consume, saving me a ton of time. I also like the onboarding and support teams—they're always ready to help, especially for API-specific challenges. Onboarding helps me learn the platform quickly, and the support team is prompt in problem-solving any issues, which means I can unblock my progress within a day. Once the API setup and dashboard is running, it doesn't take much maintenance, and it's easy to share. Plus, embedding into Notion automates a ton of reporting, which is a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knowi?

I think there could be more guidance for different types of API connections for popular platforms like Shopify, Google Analytics, and Tableau. It can take time to get everything set up correctly the first time with Knowi's platform and API documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Knowi solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Knowi to dashboard ecommerce performance, eliminating the need for manual CSVs and handling data beyond Google Sheets limits. “TIBCO Jaspersoft Review: A Great Experience with Platform and Operational Reporting”
What do you like best about Jaspersoft?

TIBCO Jaspersoft is a powerful reporting platform designed for enterprises, perfect for both operational and compliance needs. It shines when it comes to features like report scheduling, secure delivery through email and SFTP, role-based access control, and multi-tenancy support, making it a great fit for regulated environments. The platform also offers a variety of export options, including PDF, CSV, and paginated Excel, ensuring your reports are consistent. With customizable reports and dashboards, Jaspersoft integrates smoothly into enterprise applications, providing real value for organizations that emphasize governed, scalable, and automated reporting over ad-hoc analytics. This can be especially helpful for internal audits and analyzing future targets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jaspersoft?

Despite its solid reputation in traditional reporting, TIBCO Jaspersoft does have some hiccups when it comes to modern analytics. You might run into performance issues with large datasets and complex reports, which often means a bit of extra tuning is required.

When you stack it up against tools like Power BI and Tableau, Jaspersoft tends to offer fewer advanced visualizations, has less robust ad-hoc exploration capabilities, and doesn’t quite deliver on AI-driven insights. This can make it less appealing for organizations looking for rich analytics and speedy data discovery.

Clients often find themselves navigating report complexity and dealing with unexpected email failures when handling large datasets, which can complicate troubleshooting. These challenges are definitely something for product managers to keep in mind as they work to meet customer needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jaspersoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Jaspersoft is your go-to for dependable, governed, and automated enterprise reporting, which is key for keeping your data accurate, secure, and distributed in a controlled manner. It makes generating those pixel-perfect reports a breeze with options for scheduling, email, and secure channels like SFTP, all while cutting down on manual effort and minimizing risk.

With its role-based access control and multi-tenancy features, managing user groups and customers becomes a walk in the park, all while ensuring compliance is top-notch. Jaspersoft acts as a solid, embeddable reporting foundation that scales effortlessly across various use cases and supports your long-term product roadmaps without needing extensive customization.

Oh, and we’ve just made the leap from Jasper 8.0.3 to 9.0.0! This upgrade has tackled a bunch of client issues and made the user experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Empowering Data Analysis with Intuitive AI Tools”
What do you like best about Hex?

I really like the HEX generative AI agent; it's the feature I enjoy most. It's incredibly helpful for getting research started, writing code accurately, and synthesizing findings without much hallucination. Additionally, the integration process was very easy and gradual, with HEX making it simple to use CSV files directly out of the box. The threads feature is particularly useful for speaking in natural language, and HEX performs a lot of the analysis automatically without needing much intervention. It has great self-healing properties, too, like fixing code issues easily through the AI agent. I find it valuable to chat with the HEX AI agent, which helps explain results and their ramifications in simple terms, aiding in synthesizing research questions and analyzing data effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hex?

I think Hex is still figuring out the enterprise use case in general. I tried to use Hex's semantic features, but even though it was supposed to be in my plan, I was not able to access it until very recently. So I think, in terms of the admin panel or the platform itself, there might be some issues here and there. However, I think the team is very responsive whenever you do have a problem. I've noticed that it's very difficult to export from Hex. I wish there was a cleaner way to export the data files from Hex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hex solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Hex for data analysis, and it's great for starting my research. The generative AI tools help consolidate results, separate noise from signals, and explain findings simply. “Good Balance of Ease-of-Use and Functionality for HR Case Reporting”
What do you like best about Yellowfin BI?

As a first-time user, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I could set up dashboards in Yellowfin. The interface is intuitive, allowing me to explore data and create reports without needing extensive technical skills. What impressed me most was the ease of collaboration—being able to comment and share insights directly within the platform helps keep everyone aligned. While I know there are more advanced features to discover as I continue, the rapid time-to-value and the overall smooth, user-friendly experience have made a strong impression. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yellowfin BI?

As a first-time user, I found a few areas where Yellowfin could be improved. Some of the advanced features were not immediately intuitive, and I needed to spend extra time experimenting to understand how to use them effectively. I also sometimes felt restricted in how much I could customize certain charts and layouts—while it works well out of the box, making detailed adjustments to the appearance isn’t always simple. Overall, it’s a capable tool, but there is definitely a learning curve once you go beyond the basics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yellowfin BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Yellowfin BI has enabled us to transform our ELR and Leave Administration case data into clear, actionable insights. Previously, much of our reporting was manual and reactive, making it difficult to keep up. With Yellowfin BI, we can now create dashboards and schedule reports that consolidate trends in grievances, corrective actions, leave volumes, turnaround times, and case outcomes all in one place. This centralized approach allows leaders to monitor workloads more easily, identify emerging issues sooner, and recognize opportunities for process improvement. Additionally, it has helped us standardize case reporting across the organization, leading to greater transparency and more informed decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“All-in-One Analytics Powerhouse with Outstanding Support”
What do you like best about Count?

I have switched to Count for all the analysis I run, so I would say I use it on a daily-basis.

With Count, you can have queries, plots, text, reports, and comments all in the same place. I find this extremely valuable, as it effectively makes everything self-documenting: the queries that support the results, the interpretation, and the reviews that were made all live together. Moreover, we can collaborate in real-time on the same canvas, which is amazing.

I really like that Count allows you to create tiles and reference results, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. This helps avoid a lot of code duplication and significantly streamlines query creation. Personally, I think this makes a big difference because it allows me to split complex queries into clearly defined components and then combine their results as needed.

When using other tools, I sometimes felt constrained by the lack of flexible filtering, which was often managed at the organization level and pushed me toward hacky solutions. With Count, control cells make it easy to implement the exact filters you need, giving you a lot of freedom and power to build very flexible dashboards.

Finally, I think the Count support team is excellent. They are consistently helpful, whether I’m stuck or just looking for best practices to implement something in the tool. They either provide a solution or take note of the feedback to improve the product. A good example is the recent addition of support for different scales in facet plots, which addressed a limitation I personally encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Regarding areas for improvement, I do have a few ideas.

I think the construction of frames could live in a separate canvas, similar to how Tableau approaches dashboards. This would offer the best of both worlds: plots would remain close to the queries that generate their data, while still allowing the creation of a dedicated dashboard that brings everything together.

There are also some smaller usability issues that can make the interface feel unintuitive at times. For example, when creating custom plots, individual marks cannot be named, which makes it harder to understand what each mark represents. Similarly, when multiple marks are used, it’s not always clear which variable is assigned to the secondary axis.

Some solutions also feel a bit hacky—for instance, adding vertical lines to indicate events by using bar plots, where it’s not always obvious how to control the bar width cleanly.

Overall, these are relatively minor points. They don’t slow me down in my day-to-day work, and I see them more as a wishlist than as real blockers. As with any tool, there is always room for improvement—but Count is already a superb product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Count solving and how is that benefiting you?

Count solves the problem of fragmented analytics workflows by bringing queries, plots, text, and reviews into a single place, which makes analyses naturally self-documenting. This benefits me because I can always trace results back to their underlying logic and interpretation without losing context. It also addresses code duplication by allowing results to be referenced across tiles, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. As a result, I can break complex queries into clear, reusable components and iterate much faster.

Count also solves the rigidity of traditional dashboards by giving you control cells to define filters directly in the analysis. This gives me far more flexibility than organization-level filters and avoids the need for hacky workarounds. Another key problem it solves is reviewability: comments, interpretations, and feedback live right next to the data. That makes collaboration easier and decisions easier to justify.

Finally, Count reduces the risk of getting stuck with tool limitations thanks to a very responsive support team. Knowing that feedback is heard and often translated into product improvements makes me confident in relying on Count for my day-to-day analytical work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful, Cloud-Based Analytics Platform with Scalable ML and Visualization”
What do you like best about SAS Viya?

What I like best about SAS Viya is that it combines powerful data analytics, machine learning, and visualization into one modern, cloud-based platform. It allows users to process large datasets quickly using scalable computing while supporting multiple programming languages like SAS, Python, and R, which makes collaboration easier across teams. I also like that it integrates the entire analytics workflow from data preparation to model deployment and monitoring into a single system, helping organizations work more efficiently while maintaining strong data governance and security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Viya?

One potential downside of SAS Viya is that it can have a steep learning curve, especially for users who are new to SAS or enterprise analytics platforms. The cost of licensing and implementation can also be high compared with some open-source alternatives, which may limit accessibility for smaller organizations. Additionally, while Viya supports multiple programming languages, some advanced customization can still feel more seamless within the SAS ecosystem, which may reduce flexibility for teams that primarily work in open-source environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAS Viya solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAS Viya solves the challenge of managing and analyzing large, complex datasets efficiently while streamlining the entire analytics workflow in one platform. It helps by reducing the need to switch between multiple tools for data preparation, modeling, and deployment, which improves productivity and collaboration across teams. The platform’s scalable, cloud-based computing allows analyses to run faster and handle larger datasets, leading to quicker insights and better decision-making. For my medical projects, I needed quick and reliable statistical analyses, and SAS consistently provided accurate, reproducible results. Additionally, its built-in governance and model monitoring help ensure reliability, transparency, and compliance, which supports consistent and trustworthy outcomes. “Effortless Data Management and Automation with TIMi”
What do you like best about TIMi?

What I like best about TIMi is its ability to simplify and streamline data management and task automation.

The platform provides an intuitive interface that makes organizing, tracking, and analyzing information much easier. I particularly appreciate the automation features, which reduce repetitive manual work and improve overall productivity.

Additionally, TIMi’s integration capabilities allow it to work seamlessly with other tools and systems, creating a more connected and efficient workflow. The combination of ease of use, flexibility, and time-saving automation makes TIMi a highly valuable tool for managing tasks and data effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TIMi?

One area where TIMi could improve is in its advanced customization options. While the platform is very user-friendly and effective for general task and data management, some complex workflows or specialized reporting needs can be difficult to implement without additional configuration.

Occasionally, performance can be slightly slower when handling very large datasets, and some integrations may require extra setup or troubleshooting. Despite these minor limitations, TIMi remains a highly efficient and valuable tool for day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TIMi solving and how is that benefiting you?

TIMi helps solve challenges related to task management, data organization, and workflow automation.

Before using the platform, tracking tasks, managing data, and ensuring team alignment were time-consuming and prone to errors. TIMi centralizes these processes, automates repetitive tasks, and provides clear visibility into progress and priorities.

This results in improved efficiency, reduced manual work, and better collaboration across teams. The real-time notification system ensures that everyone stays updated without constant manual follow-ups, which has significantly improved our workflow efficiency. The customizable dashboard allows me to track project milestones in a visual format that makes reporting to stakeholders much simpler. The integration capabilities with our existing tools like Jira and Slack created a seamless transition that didn't disrupt our ongoing projects. The mobile accessibility means I can stay connected even during my commute, which is crucial in our fast-paced environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hurree?

The initial setup process proved somewhat complex and required substantial IT support to implement correctly across all departments. The advanced features have a steep learning curve that necessitated multiple training sessions for team members who aren't technically inclined. I've noticed occasional synchronization delays when handling very large files, which sometimes creates version control issues during critical project phases. The reporting module, while comprehensive, lacks some flexibility in exporting data to specific formats our finance department requires. The pricing structure becomes significantly more expensive as you add more users, which makes scaling challenging for growing teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hurree solving and how is that benefiting you?

This platform fundamentally solved our communication gap problems between remote team members across different time zones. Before implementation, we struggled with version control issues where team members would work on outdated documents, leading to rework and missed deadlines. The automated workflow features reduced our project deployment time by approximately 30% by eliminating manual handoff processes. The centralized documentation repository eliminated the problem of duplicate files and conflicting versions that previously caused confusion and errors in our deliverables. The permission settings allowed us to maintain security while enabling appropriate access levels across different team roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful Embedded BI with Proactive Support Addressing Performance at Scale”
What do you like best about Luzmo?

Luzmo's embedding capabilities and modern BI features make it powerful for multi-tenant SaaS applications. The Luzmo IQ natural language querying feature is particularly impressive, allowing end users to ask questions about their data conversationally. The multi-tenancy architecture with account overrides enables secure data isolation across client environments. The Databricks connectivity works smoothly, and the cross-filtering functionality provides good interactivity.

What stands out most is their customer-first approach. When we raised performance concerns, their Product team committed to a complete Databricks connector overhaul—not just a patch—addressing both JOIN and formula pushdowns. We've been kept informed throughout and will be among the first customers migrated to the new connector. This responsiveness to enterprise customer needs is exceptional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Luzmo?

Very little at this point. We experienced some initial performance challenges with dataset linking at large scale, but the Luzmo team responded proactively with a comprehensive solution in development (expected Q1 2026). The communication and support throughout has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Luzmo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Luzmo solves the challenge of providing embedded, white-labeled analytics dashboards for our multi-tenant SaaS platform serving enterprise supply chain clients. Rather than building a custom BI solution from scratch, Luzmo provides production-ready embedded dashboards that integrate seamlessly into our application while maintaining strict data isolation between clients through account overrides.

The multi-tenancy architecture allows us to deploy the same dashboard templates across multiple enterprise customers while ensuring each client sees only their data. This significantly accelerates our time-to-market for new client onboarding and reduces development overhead.

Luzmo enables us to deliver sophisticated forecast analytics visualizations—including complex metrics like wMAPE, Bias, and FVA calculations—without requiring our data engineering team to build and maintain a full front-end visualization layer. The Databricks connectivity allows us to leverage our existing data infrastructure while providing interactive dashboards.

The Luzmo IQ natural language querying feature adds significant value by allowing non-technical users to ask questions about their forecast performance data conversationally, reducing the need for custom reports and training.

Overall, Luzmo allows our small team to deliver enterprise-grade embedded analytics to multiple Fortune 500 clients without the engineering resources required to build a proprietary BI platform. Their team has been highly responsive to our scaling needs, with a new Databricks connector in development to further improve performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Looker for digital ads reporting for platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and DV360. I like that it creates dynamic and live reports, especially for Google platforms, which is great for sharing with clients and managers. The best part is, once set up, it can show reports in real-time to anyone who needs it, and the initial setup is easy, though it takes time when blending reports. Once done, it can be used forever. What do you dislike about Looker?

“Streamline Your Reporting with Easy Insight”
What do you like best about Easy Insight?

Easy Insight has streamlined the way our organization handles reporting and data visualization. As a reporting software, it successfully integrates cross-platform data quickly and efficiently.

One of the standout features is the extensive range of data integrations and reporting set-up. It really is a souped up excel, but instead of having to manually create pivot tables and manually download and store data, everything is done easily within the platform. Not to mention the creator is extremely responsive and any fixes or snags that are needed or occur, he is always quick to dig in and ensure smooth sailing.

This product allows a lot of flexibility in reporting and is a vaulable asset to the way our organization uses data to make business decisions.

Its user-friendly interface, seamless data integrations, and superb customer support make it an excellent choice for any organization seeking to optimize their reporting and analytics processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Easy Insight?

Only constructive feedback I have is I wish there was a way to have data update immediately, but I don't foresee a workaround since this platform pulls data from outside software, and response times between the two will never be fully succinc - just the nature of the beast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Easy Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?

Reporting, data analytics, real-time audit of employee budget, time entries, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
