It really is a souped up excel, but instead of having to manually create pivot tables and manually download and store data, everything is done easily within the platform. Not to mention the creator is extremely responsive and any fixes or snags that are needed or occur, he is always quick to dig in and ensure smooth sailing. This product allows a lot of flexibility in reporting and is a vaulable asset to the way our organization uses data to make business decisions. Its user-friendly interface, seamless data integrations, and superb customer support make it an excellent choice for any organization seeking to optimize their reporting and analytics processes. **What do you dislike about Easy Insight?** Only constructive feedback I have is I wish there was a way to have data update immediately, but I don't foresee a workaround since this platform pulls data from outside software, and response times between the two will never be fully succinc - just the nature of the beast. **What problems is Easy Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reporting, data analytics, real-time audit of employee budget, time entries, etc. ### 2. I would highly recommend this software if your company is a highly data driven company, the simplicity does not require to be a coder, at first it will be challenging but James is always there to help and guide, If your company does not have Easy insights you will fall behind and waste resources scraping all your data manually from different data sources. **What do you dislike about Easy Insight?** - Really there is not anything bad to say, besides the time you need to put in at first theres nothing you can say as to why you should not have this software. We are able to access more information about our business. We can prolong the life of our existing ERP system Cin7. EI allows you to make some great statements, for example, commission statements, which we have struggled to create elsewhere. **What do you dislike about Easy Insight?** While EI is relatively easy to use as with any software there is a learning curve to using it. The reports are easy to build, but making good easy to read dashboards is harder. There could also be more formatting functionality to optimize the appearance of dashboards. **What problems is Easy Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Weekly sales reporting information - now have better more timely information. Giving our sales reps access to much more information for them to better manage their businesses. Commission statements - able to produce accurate monthly statements for sales reps. Funny enough it produces much more useful reports than my actual inventory software (Cin7 previously DEAR). Cin7 is one of the most important pieces of software in my business, but the reports are terrible. Thank goodness Easy Insight is here to take all that good data from CIN 7 and give me reports I can actually do something with. Using it for inventory and financial reports and automating them to email me is very helpful. Also I really like and appreciate that the subscription model is FAIR! You pay a flat rate and get all the features. It is not the greedy bloated highway robbery model you see with other software that tries to ride on your coat tail of success and charge you more based on your revenue. The customer support is absolutely amazing. James always gets back to me with all of my concerns and gets my issues resolved **What do you dislike about Easy Insight?** I don't really dislike anything honestly. It has a learning curve but once you understand it, its quite easy to use. Also you have the benefit of the customer support always there to help point you in the right direction. **What problems is Easy Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it for inventory reporting (pulls data from our inventory software via API). Because it does far better reporting than our actual inventory software. We also use it for sales reports. Weekly, monthly, etc. Basically if you can think of a report/query to ask your data- Easy Insight can help you present the data. ### 5. Shipping data from Starshipit - done. Shopify order revenue - done. Katana for my COGs - done. But what about if I need to have a fallback system for when COGs weren't correctly recorded in Katana? In my experience, it's been easier to implement and give the general user much more powerful reporting tools at their fingertips than Tableau or PowerBI. The team has thought of many integrations and use cases. We were able to tie together multiple data sources and run powerful analytics within hours with no advanced technical assistance or BI skills. Reports are extremely customizable and flexible and can be scheduled to email to the whole team. Customer service has been excellent too! **What do you dislike about Easy Insight?** The user interface is not the fanciest or the prettiest, and sometimes not completely intuitive. Discovering and leveraging some of their more advanced features requires time and effort on the user's part. **What problems is Easy Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** The reporting out of Quickbooks is limited. EI has been able to ingest all of our Quickbooks data and give me much more powerful reporting than out-of-the-box QB reports. The support is fantastic and really hands on so any problems I've had have ben fixed quickly. When you dig beneath the surface its a very powerful tool. Not as polished as some of the top BI tools but fantastic value for money. **What do you dislike about Easy Insight?** The system has been going through a refresh which has caused small frustrations but support is so good it's not really a problem. Can be quite hard to learn the deep details of how to set up reports but it pays to keep digging in the help articles. **What problems is Easy Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have multiple systems with their own reporting tools but needed a centralised reporting tool so that data could be shared cross platform. I wanted a tool that didn't demand a big setup budget and need consultant input to set up. ### 35. The dashboard controls allow me to create an array of dashboards that range from simple to complex. I can organize dashboards so that users can easily navigate and quickly see the data points that are important to them. I also like that I can have many viewers and create groups. **What do you dislike about Easy Insight?** I would like the capability to report on, or view user activity. I know that Easy Insight is working to make this possible soon.
