best Dashboard Software.

Dashboard software is a crucial data visualization tool to integrate multiple data sources into a user-friendly interface. It empowers businesses to gain valuable insights by uncovering correlations and connections within disparate data sets. Dashboard solutions often serve as a central hub for business intelligence (BI) by transforming complex data into visual insights like graphs and charts, offering a comprehensive overview of business performance metrics. These interactive dashboards aid in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, driving data-driven decision-making, and predicting outcomes through AI and machine learning. Dashboard software can be a standalone tool or a feature of analytics platforms and embedded business intelligence software.

“Transforms Raw Data into Strategic Insights with Tableau”
What do you like best about Tableau?

I really like how efficiently Tableau helps me transfer raw data into meaningful visual insights. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to build dashboards quickly, saving a lot of time when preparing reports. I especially value its ability to connect to multiple data sources and create interactive visualizations, which allows me to monitor key metrics and present clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders. It simplifies the process of building dashboards without needing complex configuration or coding. Tableau makes it easy to create charts and modify visualizations, speeding up my reporting process. Connecting to multiple data sources like Excel files, datasets, and cloud platforms enables me to effectively analyze information and generate comprehensive insights that support better decision making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

While Tableau is a powerful analytics platform, there are a few areas that could be improved. The licensing cost can be relatively high, especially for smaller teams. When working with large data sets, dashboard performance can sometimes slow down and require optimization. Improving collaboration features and simplifying some advanced calculations would also make the platform even more convenient for everyday users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Tableau to convert large datasets into visual insights, highlighting trends and metrics. It simplifies understanding complex data, improves decision-making, and allows exploration of insights without technical skills. It efficiently turns raw data into dashboards, saving report preparation time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Power BI works really well with Microsoft Fabric for reporting”
What do you like best about Microsoft Power BI?

I’ve been using Microsoft Power BI mainly for reporting and dashboard creation. In one of our projects we connected Power BI directly to warehouse tables and views in Microsoft Fabric, and the experience was pretty smooth.

What I like most is how quickly you can turn structured data into a dashboard. Once the connection with the warehouse is set up, creating visuals like charts, KPIs, and filters is quite straightforward. Business users in our team prefer dashboards over raw tables, so Power BI helps a lot in presenting the data in a clear way.

Another thing I find helpful is Power Query for simple transformations. Even if the data is mostly prepared in the warehouse, sometimes small adjustments are needed and Power BI handles that well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?

When reports start getting bigger with many visuals, performance can sometimes slow down a bit. It usually works fine but you need to design the model carefully if the dataset grows.

Also, learning DAX properly takes some time. Basic reports are easy, but advanced calculations definitely require practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Power BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Power BI helps us convert warehouse data into meaningful reports that business users can easily understand. Instead of manually preparing Excel reports every time, we now have dashboards that update automatically when the warehouse data refreshes.

This saves a lot of time and makes it easier for teams to track important metrics and trends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Kyvos Makes Asking and Following Up on Data Questions Effortless”
What do you like best about Kyvos Semantic Layer?

The way that Kyvos allows our teams to interact with data is incredible in how simple it is to just ask a question in plain and simple terms, without having to create a lot of detailed reports. The ability to ask follow-up questions while still in the same discussion without having to re-create the earlier context is huge and helps us hurry up how long we would spend creating these types of conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyvos Semantic Layer?

I think it would be beneficial for more very specific examples of conversational analytics scenarios done as demonstrations to be available to view. Other than that, the process of using Kyvos has been very smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kyvos Semantic Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a lot of very large and complex data sets to look at, and typical BI tools limit our ability to look into the data quickly. We needed a solution to look for insight through conversational analytics that was scalable and that had a good relationship with our business context. Kyvos was by far the best option available after looking through the other choices made available to us. The results have been that our teams have been able to get much quicker insight with greater accuracy through asking questions in the way we would normally ask other people. “Intuitive Dashboarding with Exceptional Support”
What do you like best about Knowi?

I use Knowi to dashboard ecommerce performance, and it's great because I no longer need to manage manual CSVs across multiple platforms. The dashboarding features are intuitive, making my data easy to consume, saving me a ton of time. I also like the onboarding and support teams—they're always ready to help, especially for API-specific challenges. Onboarding helps me learn the platform quickly, and the support team is prompt in problem-solving any issues, which means I can unblock my progress within a day. Once the API setup and dashboard is running, it doesn't take much maintenance, and it's easy to share. Plus, embedding into Notion automates a ton of reporting, which is a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knowi?

I think there could be more guidance for different types of API connections for popular platforms like Shopify, Google Analytics, and Tableau. It can take time to get everything set up correctly the first time with Knowi's platform and API documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Knowi solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Strong Data Modeling That Keeps Everyone on the Same Page”
What do you like best about GoodData?

I really like how GoodData performs with its data-modeling. Once all the metrics have been correctly defined, everyone is working off the same information and no one is disputing whose spreadsheet is correct. I am often on the couch (half) watching TV and can easily find what I need, without it becoming an ordeal. We don't have to export manually and/or receive "Can you resend that file?" emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodData?

The initial setup for GoodData is not for the faint of heart. Petty complaint: When something goes awry in the defining of a metric, the error message is usually so vague it may as well say, "Something is wrong - figure it out." Minor annoyance. Documentation varies based on what you want to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodData solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were having five different people build reports five different ways, and numbers never agreed upon during meetings. It also allows non-technical people to view their data without having to ask for help each and every time, thus greatly reducing back and forth communication. And for clients that require visibility into their own performance data, the ability to embed our reporting into their site eliminates us from having to create a new reporting solution for them. “Empowering Data Analysis with Intuitive AI Tools”
What do you like best about Hex?

I really like the HEX generative AI agent; it's the feature I enjoy most. It's incredibly helpful for getting research started, writing code accurately, and synthesizing findings without much hallucination. Additionally, the integration process was very easy and gradual, with HEX making it simple to use CSV files directly out of the box. The threads feature is particularly useful for speaking in natural language, and HEX performs a lot of the analysis automatically without needing much intervention. It has great self-healing properties, too, like fixing code issues easily through the AI agent. I find it valuable to chat with the HEX AI agent, which helps explain results and their ramifications in simple terms, aiding in synthesizing research questions and analyzing data effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hex?

I think Hex is still figuring out the enterprise use case in general. I tried to use Hex's semantic features, but even though it was supposed to be in my plan, I was not able to access it until very recently. So I think, in terms of the admin panel or the platform itself, there might be some issues here and there. However, I think the team is very responsive whenever you do have a problem. I've noticed that it's very difficult to export from Hex. I wish there was a cleaner way to export the data files from Hex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hex solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Hex for data analysis, and it's great for starting my research. The generative AI tools help consolidate results, separate noise from signals, and explain findings simply. “TIBCO Jaspersoft Review: A Great Experience with Platform and Operational Reporting”
What do you like best about Jaspersoft?

TIBCO Jaspersoft is a powerful reporting platform designed for enterprises, perfect for both operational and compliance needs. It shines when it comes to features like report scheduling, secure delivery through email and SFTP, role-based access control, and multi-tenancy support, making it a great fit for regulated environments. The platform also offers a variety of export options, including PDF, CSV, and paginated Excel, ensuring your reports are consistent. With customizable reports and dashboards, Jaspersoft integrates smoothly into enterprise applications, providing real value for organizations that emphasize governed, scalable, and automated reporting over ad-hoc analytics. This can be especially helpful for internal audits and analyzing future targets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jaspersoft?

Despite its solid reputation in traditional reporting, TIBCO Jaspersoft does have some hiccups when it comes to modern analytics. You might run into performance issues with large datasets and complex reports, which often means a bit of extra tuning is required.

When you stack it up against tools like Power BI and Tableau, Jaspersoft tends to offer fewer advanced visualizations, has less robust ad-hoc exploration capabilities, and doesn’t quite deliver on AI-driven insights. This can make it less appealing for organizations looking for rich analytics and speedy data discovery.

Clients often find themselves navigating report complexity and dealing with unexpected email failures when handling large datasets, which can complicate troubleshooting. These challenges are definitely something for product managers to keep in mind as they work to meet customer needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jaspersoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Jaspersoft is your go-to for dependable, governed, and automated enterprise reporting, which is key for keeping your data accurate, secure, and distributed in a controlled manner. It makes generating those pixel-perfect reports a breeze with options for scheduling, email, and secure channels like SFTP, all while cutting down on manual effort and minimizing risk.

With its role-based access control and multi-tenancy features, managing user groups and customers becomes a walk in the park, all while ensuring compliance is top-notch. Jaspersoft acts as a solid, embeddable reporting foundation that scales effortlessly across various use cases and supports your long-term product roadmaps without needing extensive customization.

Oh, and we’ve just made the leap from Jasper 8.0.3 to 9.0.0! This upgrade has tackled a bunch of client issues and made the user experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Good Balance of Ease-of-Use and Functionality for HR Case Reporting”
What do you like best about Yellowfin BI?

As a first-time user, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I could set up dashboards in Yellowfin. The interface is intuitive, allowing me to explore data and create reports without needing extensive technical skills. What impressed me most was the ease of collaboration—being able to comment and share insights directly within the platform helps keep everyone aligned. While I know there are more advanced features to discover as I continue, the rapid time-to-value and the overall smooth, user-friendly experience have made a strong impression. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yellowfin BI?

As a first-time user, I found a few areas where Yellowfin could be improved. Some of the advanced features were not immediately intuitive, and I needed to spend extra time experimenting to understand how to use them effectively. I also sometimes felt restricted in how much I could customize certain charts and layouts—while it works well out of the box, making detailed adjustments to the appearance isn’t always simple. Overall, it’s a capable tool, but there is definitely a learning curve once you go beyond the basics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yellowfin BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Yellowfin BI has enabled us to transform our ELR and Leave Administration case data into clear, actionable insights. Previously, much of our reporting was manual and reactive, making it difficult to keep up. With Yellowfin BI, we can now create dashboards and schedule reports that consolidate trends in grievances, corrective actions, leave volumes, turnaround times, and case outcomes all in one place. This centralized approach allows leaders to monitor workloads more easily, identify emerging issues sooner, and recognize opportunities for process improvement. Additionally, it has helped us standardize case reporting across the organization, leading to greater transparency and more informed decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“All-in-One Analytics Powerhouse with Outstanding Support”
What do you like best about Count?

I have switched to Count for all the analysis I run, so I would say I use it on a daily-basis.

With Count, you can have queries, plots, text, reports, and comments all in the same place. I find this extremely valuable, as it effectively makes everything self-documenting: the queries that support the results, the interpretation, and the reviews that were made all live together. Moreover, we can collaborate in real-time on the same canvas, which is amazing.

I really like that Count allows you to create tiles and reference results, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. This helps avoid a lot of code duplication and significantly streamlines query creation. Personally, I think this makes a big difference because it allows me to split complex queries into clearly defined components and then combine their results as needed.

When using other tools, I sometimes felt constrained by the lack of flexible filtering, which was often managed at the organization level and pushed me toward hacky solutions. With Count, control cells make it easy to implement the exact filters you need, giving you a lot of freedom and power to build very flexible dashboards.

Finally, I think the Count support team is excellent. They are consistently helpful, whether I’m stuck or just looking for best practices to implement something in the tool. They either provide a solution or take note of the feedback to improve the product. A good example is the recent addition of support for different scales in facet plots, which addressed a limitation I personally encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Regarding areas for improvement, I do have a few ideas.

I think the construction of frames could live in a separate canvas, similar to how Tableau approaches dashboards. This would offer the best of both worlds: plots would remain close to the queries that generate their data, while still allowing the creation of a dedicated dashboard that brings everything together.

There are also some smaller usability issues that can make the interface feel unintuitive at times. For example, when creating custom plots, individual marks cannot be named, which makes it harder to understand what each mark represents. Similarly, when multiple marks are used, it’s not always clear which variable is assigned to the secondary axis.

Some solutions also feel a bit hacky—for instance, adding vertical lines to indicate events by using bar plots, where it’s not always obvious how to control the bar width cleanly.

Overall, these are relatively minor points. They don’t slow me down in my day-to-day work, and I see them more as a wishlist than as real blockers. As with any tool, there is always room for improvement—but Count is already a superb product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Count solving and how is that benefiting you?

Count solves the problem of fragmented analytics workflows by bringing queries, plots, text, and reviews into a single place, which makes analyses naturally self-documenting. This benefits me because I can always trace results back to their underlying logic and interpretation without losing context. It also addresses code duplication by allowing results to be referenced across tiles, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. As a result, I can break complex queries into clear, reusable components and iterate much faster.

Count also solves the rigidity of traditional dashboards by giving you control cells to define filters directly in the analysis. This gives me far more flexibility than organization-level filters and avoids the need for hacky workarounds. Another key problem it solves is reviewability: comments, interpretations, and feedback live right next to the data. That makes collaboration easier and decisions easier to justify.

Finally, Count reduces the risk of getting stuck with tool limitations thanks to a very responsive support team. Knowing that feedback is heard and often translated into product improvements makes me confident in relying on Count for my day-to-day analytical work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Powerful and Modern Platform for Advanced Analytics and Teaching”
What do you like best about SAS Viya?

What I like best about SAS Viya is how it combines the strength and reliability of traditional SAS with a modern, flexible environment. I appreciate the cloud-based structure, which makes it easier to access projects from different locations, and the integration of visual analytics with coding in SAS and Python. The interface is clean and intuitive, but still powerful enough for advanced modeling, including mixed models and large datasets. It feels scalable, efficient, and well-suited for both teaching and research environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Viya?

While SAS Viya is powerful, the transition from traditional SAS 9.4 can sometimes feel challenging, especially when certain procedures or workflows do not behave exactly the same way. Some advanced features require additional configuration or licensing, which can limit access depending on the setup. In addition, for new users, the interface and ecosystem can feel a bit overwhelming at first, particularly when navigating between different applications (e.g., Visual Analytics, Model Studio, programming). A smoother learning curve and clearer guidance for users migrating from earlier SAS versions would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAS Viya solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAS Viya helps solve the challenge of analyzing large, complex datasets efficiently while maintaining reproducibility and transparency. It provides scalable computing power, which is especially valuable when working with mixed models, high-dimensional data, or collaborative research projects. The integration of visual tools with programming also streamlines the workflow from data management to modeling and reporting. For me, this improves efficiency in both research and teaching, allowing me to demonstrate advanced methods clearly while handling real-world datasets more effectively. “Powerful Embedded BI with Proactive Support Addressing Performance at Scale”
What do you like best about Luzmo?

Luzmo's embedding capabilities and modern BI features make it powerful for multi-tenant SaaS applications. The Luzmo IQ natural language querying feature is particularly impressive, allowing end users to ask questions about their data conversationally. The multi-tenancy architecture with account overrides enables secure data isolation across client environments. The Databricks connectivity works smoothly, and the cross-filtering functionality provides good interactivity.

What stands out most is their customer-first approach. When we raised performance concerns, their Product team committed to a complete Databricks connector overhaul—not just a patch—addressing both JOIN and formula pushdowns. We've been kept informed throughout and will be among the first customers migrated to the new connector. This responsiveness to enterprise customer needs is exceptional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Luzmo?

Very little at this point. We experienced some initial performance challenges with dataset linking at large scale, but the Luzmo team responded proactively with a comprehensive solution in development (expected Q1 2026). The communication and support throughout has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Luzmo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Luzmo solves the challenge of providing embedded, white-labeled analytics dashboards for our multi-tenant SaaS platform serving enterprise supply chain clients. Rather than building a custom BI solution from scratch, Luzmo provides production-ready embedded dashboards that integrate seamlessly into our application while maintaining strict data isolation between clients through account overrides.

The multi-tenancy architecture allows us to deploy the same dashboard templates across multiple enterprise customers while ensuring each client sees only their data. This significantly accelerates our time-to-market for new client onboarding and reduces development overhead.

Luzmo enables us to deliver sophisticated forecast analytics visualizations—including complex metrics like wMAPE, Bias, and FVA calculations—without requiring our data engineering team to build and maintain a full front-end visualization layer. The Databricks connectivity allows us to leverage our existing data infrastructure while providing interactive dashboards.

The Luzmo IQ natural language querying feature adds significant value by allowing non-technical users to ask questions about their forecast performance data conversationally, reducing the need for custom reports and training.

Overall, Luzmo allows our small team to deliver enterprise-grade embedded analytics to multiple Fortune 500 clients without the engineering resources required to build a proprietary BI platform. Their team has been highly responsive to our scaling needs, with a new Databricks connector in development to further improve performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Streamline Your Reporting with Easy Insight”
What do you like best about Easy Insight?

Easy Insight has streamlined the way our organization handles reporting and data visualization. As a reporting software, it successfully integrates cross-platform data quickly and efficiently.

One of the standout features is the extensive range of data integrations and reporting set-up. It really is a souped up excel, but instead of having to manually create pivot tables and manually download and store data, everything is done easily within the platform. Not to mention the creator is extremely responsive and any fixes or snags that are needed or occur, he is always quick to dig in and ensure smooth sailing.

This product allows a lot of flexibility in reporting and is a vaulable asset to the way our organization uses data to make business decisions.

Its user-friendly interface, seamless data integrations, and superb customer support make it an excellent choice for any organization seeking to optimize their reporting and analytics processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Easy Insight?

Only constructive feedback I have is I wish there was a way to have data update immediately, but I don't foresee a workaround since this platform pulls data from outside software, and response times between the two will never be fully succinc - just the nature of the beast. What problems is Easy Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?

Reporting, data analytics, real-time audit of employee budget, time entries, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Seamless On-Premise Solution That Puts You in Control”
What do you like best about Reveal?

Reveal runs entirely on our infrastructure, does not require any external connections, and is seamlessly exposed as part of our product. This was a top item when considering embedded analytics, as a number of our customers operate in highly regulated spaces. The flat-rate pricing was also key when evaluating their solution against the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reveal?

They don't yet have support for Iceberg or Delta Lake tables, which has become increasingly important for some of our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Reveal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Reveal provides embedded dashboards enabling our users to produce custom reports specific to their needs, without having to engage our team in custom development. Additionally, Reveal enables us to put our application data in the hands of data scientists, allowing a richer understanding of the data within our product. In total, we will save time as a development organization and our customers will save time as well dealing with custom reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Marketing Cohort Analytics—A Million Times Easier with Discern”
What do you like best about Discern?

Discern completely changed how I handle marketing funnel reporting. What used to take hours like pulling Salesforce reports, syncing to Google Sheets with Coefficient, building formulas, refreshing data, manually counting rows, now takes 15 minutes. I just log in, filter by cohort, source, region—whatever I need—and the data’s right there. It’s a million times easier. I finally get to spend my time analyzing and acting on insights, instead of wasting hours just getting the numbers in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Discern?

The Salesforce integration is not very self serve yet, needs some product development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Discern solving and how is that benefiting you?

Censys needed a faster, more efficient way to track cohort funnel conversion rates and report marketing metrics. Manual reporting was slow and fragmented, making it difficult to see how leads progressed over time. With Discern, we automated our cohort funnel reporting, reducing reporting time by 87% and gaining real-time insights into marketing program ROI. Leadership now has instant visibility into conversion rates, enabling faster and more informed decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Seamless Integration and Unified Features for Advanced Users”
What do you like best about ILUM?

What I appreciate most about ILUM is its Ease of Integration. The platform is built to be open and modular, allowing it to connect seamlessly with the tools we already rely on, such as Airflow, dbt, Jupyter, and various BI tools through JDBC. We didn't have to overhaul our existing workflows; ILUM integrated effortlessly, which meant less hassle during implementation and a much quicker realization of value—something I consider a major advantage.

Another standout aspect is the impressive range of features combined with how easy it is to use. Since ILUM is a unified platform, I can run SQL queries, review data lineage, and launch Spark jobs or notebooks all from a single interface, eliminating the need to constantly switch between different tools. Having that centralized control is incredibly convenient.

The process of implementing ILUM is both straightforward and nuanced, but for the most part, it's simple if you have the right infrastructure in place. Because ILUM is Kubernetes-native and deployed via Helm charts, if you already have a Kubernetes cluster set up, you can get the core components—Spark and the UI—up and running in less than five minutes using a basic Helm command.

Personally, I use ILUM as my main platform nearly every day in my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ILUM?

If I had to nitpick, the initial UI for the truly deep engineering stuff can be a little much for new users, but once you get past the initial setup (which is covered well by Customer Support and training), the daily use is very intuitive. The Interactive Sessions feature is also amazing for cutting down on Spark job startup time, making my day-to-day work way more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ILUM solving and how is that benefiting you?

ILUM solves a few major headaches that were common in the big data world. The main problem is fragmentation—trying to stitch together separate, expensive data lakes and data warehouses, which leads to messy data silos, inconsistent results, and a lot of unnecessary work. Older proprietary systems like Cloudera or Databricks are costly and lock you in. ILUM gets rid of those problems. It's an open-source based Data Lakehouse platform that unifies everything.

For me as a user, this translates to tangible benefits. First, it is much faster. The interactive Spark sessions eliminate those 20-40 second job start times, and processing can be up to twice as fast overall. This means I'm not waiting on the infrastructure; I'm actually doing my job. Second, it's cheaper and more efficient. The platform is zero-license, Kubernetes-native, and runs anywhere (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), which drastically cuts infrastructure costs—we talk about 60% savings for clients. That budget can go to actual development, not just licensing fees. Third, it provides clarity and governance with features like automated Data Lineage and a central Data Catalog, so I can trust the data's quality and know exactly where it's been. In short, it lets me focus on the challenging and valuable work of data science and analytics instead of wrestling with complex, slow, and expensive tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
