Typically, Dashboard is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Dashboard Software.

Dashboard software is a crucial data visualization tool to integrate multiple data sources into a user-friendly interface. It empowers businesses to gain valuable insights by uncovering correlations and connections within disparate data sets. Dashboard solutions often serve as a central hub for business intelligence (BI) by transforming complex data into visual insights like graphs and charts, offering a comprehensive overview of business performance metrics. These interactive dashboards aid in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, driving data-driven decision-making, and predicting outcomes through AI and machine learning. Dashboard software can be a standalone tool or a feature of analytics platforms and embedded business intelligence software.

“Effortless Data Visualization and Storytelling with Tableau”
What do you like best about Tableau?

its been 3 to 4 years i am working and using taleau, for data visualization and storytelling, and i think Tableau is best , i like that how easy it makes data visualization and storytelling, The main feature that i like most is drag and drop interface its really smooth, and it allows me to create complex dashboards without much coding, i can connect multiple data source like BigQuery, excel and SQL server at the same time, which makes analysis very flexible, the visualization are very professional looking and interactive , great for presenting data to management , i also like how it handles large data volumes without lag if the data model is optimized properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

there is only one issue with , that it take more time to load when data is large or coming from live connections, managing permissions and user access also feels a bit confusing at time. but overall these are little issues , its a great tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

the main problem is has solved for me is easy data visualization, it has helped me to automate manual reporting and improve data transparency, across departments, before we used to make reports manually in excel, which took hours and had mistakes now dashboards update automatically and managers get real time data visibility. it also helped us identify key business trends faster and make data backend decisions, it has reduced reporting time and improve the overall quality of analysis in our team. “Best of both worlds - Ease of using excel and the real time updating of a database.”
What do you like best about Equals?

I landed on equals after experimenting with a lot of platforms - Domo, Power Bi and tableau .

finally found something where i could tie - 2 stripe accounts, 2 currencies, 2 products, 6 pricing plans, 2 resellers, 2 usage based platforms - all together! to get a simple logo retention and revenue retention chart.

the best part about it was that you can get an equals expert (who is really a data expert who is very good at equals) to help you put everythign together an integrate with your existing databases.

its so easy to implement. it just took him 10 hours to put al that together. They even start a slack group together to help you!

i use it every week multiple times a week.

overall 10 out of 10. They are only getting started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Equals?

I expected a filters feature. They are working on it and have an early version out. To get other people (non engineers) in my team to play with , i would love a filters feature (tableau does this well) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Equals solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helps me stay on top of critical KPIs.

for exampel, i wanted to knwo if a price change affected the logo retention of my product. The answer was more complex. It did affect - 50% percentage of my customers froma. specific cohort and had no effect on the others. I should have raised the price on.1 segment but not the other.

if i had equals earlier, i could have seen this and taken the right decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoy how flexible and easy to use Count is. The layout is intuitive and there are an ever growing list of helpful features available to use. The output is very slick as well to create reports as it allows for creative visualisations and has a lot of templates to help if you need some inspiration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It really feels like a company that is on the side of the customer and wants to help grow together, which is really appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Count solving and how is that benefiting you?

Count is great and unique for being able to easily collaborate. This is great for when you want to learn, as you can interact during training sessions. “Empowers Data Analysis with Spreadsheet Ease and Scalability”
What do you like best about Sigma?

What I enjoy about Sigma most is that it has the ability to make you feel as though you are in a spreadsheet while having access to warehouse sized amounts of data. On a day to day basis, this is where I go to slice and dice metrics, check for trends and quickly develop views that my teammates can utilize without reaching out to our data team. What do you dislike about Sigma?

When I am performing modeling work flow there are times when I find the workflow to be a bit restrictive, specifically when enforcing consistency across dashboard definitions. Also as well, I have experienced some issues when dealing with very large tables and worksheets as sometimes it will take longer to load than anticipated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sigma solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Rapid Insights and Seamless Collaboration with a User-Friendly Platform”
What do you like best about Yellowfin BI?

- Rapid time-to-value — prototypes and dashboards can be built and delivered quickly, so stakeholders see usable insights fast.

- End-to-end platform — administration, content development and consumption live in one product (no stitching multiple tools together).

- Strong collaboration features — in-report comments, task assignments and scheduled distribution make analytics a team activity, not a one-off export.

- Modern, user-friendly UI — reduces training overhead and makes dashboards accessible to non-technical decision makers.

- Good vendor support & training — timely help and learning resources that speed adoption across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yellowfin BI?

While Yellowfin is a strong BI platform overall, the Natural Language Query (NLQ) feature still feels somewhat limited for business users. It often requires very specific phrasing to return the right results, which reduces the “natural” aspect of the experience. Non-technical users expect conversational flexibility, but NLQ sometimes struggles with variations in how questions are asked, especially around aggregated metrics or multi-step queries. It’s a useful feature, but not yet at the level where executives can rely on it for quick, intuitive answers without some trial and error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yellowfin BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Yellowfin solves the core challenge of delivering embedded, enterprise-grade analytics from disparate data sources—removing the need to build and maintain a custom reporting stack. That means one can deliver interactive dashboards to customers quickly, scale multi-tenant deployments with secure role controls, and offload heavy engineering work.

The result: faster time-to-value for clients, higher engagement (reports become actionable conversations), and lower implementation costs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Effortless Data Management and Automation with TIMi”
What do you like best about TIMi?

What I like best about TIMi is its ability to simplify and streamline data management and task automation.

The platform provides an intuitive interface that makes organizing, tracking, and analyzing information much easier. I particularly appreciate the automation features, which reduce repetitive manual work and improve overall productivity.

Additionally, TIMi’s integration capabilities allow it to work seamlessly with other tools and systems, creating a more connected and efficient workflow. The combination of ease of use, flexibility, and time-saving automation makes TIMi a highly valuable tool for managing tasks and data effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TIMi?

One area where TIMi could improve is in its advanced customization options. While the platform is very user-friendly and effective for general task and data management, some complex workflows or specialized reporting needs can be difficult to implement without additional configuration.

Occasionally, performance can be slightly slower when handling very large datasets, and some integrations may require extra setup or troubleshooting. Despite these minor limitations, TIMi remains a highly efficient and valuable tool for day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TIMi solving and how is that benefiting you?

TIMi helps solve challenges related to task management, data organization, and workflow automation.

Before using the platform, tracking tasks, managing data, and ensuring team alignment were time-consuming and prone to errors. TIMi centralizes these processes, automates repetitive tasks, and provides clear visibility into progress and priorities.

This results in improved efficiency, reduced manual work, and better collaboration across teams. By streamlining workflows and making information easier to access and manage, TIMi allows the organization to save time, reduce mistakes, and focus on more strategic activities. “Effortless SQL-Python Integration, But Row Limits Can Be Restrictive”
What do you like best about Hex?

It is so easy to combine SQL with Python! I love how accessible it is to call variables created in different cells. The charts and pivot tables tools also work great and are very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hex?

This is probably related with my subscription tier, but I cannot work with tables with millions of rows, so I need to reduce my datasets early in the projects, which may be a bit limiting sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hex solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm currently using Hex for several problems:

- Replacing some dbt models - currently my team has no data engineer, so most of our dbt infrastructure is now turned off. This means I had to migrate some models into Hex, to be able to continue doing my mains tasks, related with sales forecasting.

- Perform some ad-hoc analysis.

- Build some dashboards - currently this is the only BI tool my company is using, so I'm migrating here some dashboards we used to have in the previous BI tool.

- Build simple forecasting models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful, Scalable Analytics with User-Friendly Cloud Integration”
What do you like best about SAS Viya?

What I like best about SAS Viya is its ability to combine powerful analytics with a modern, cloud-native architecture.

It provides a unified platform where data preparation, machine learning, reporting, and model deployment all happen in one place. The scalability is excellent because it runs on Kubernetes, which makes it easy to handle large workloads and integrate with existing cloud environments.

I also appreciate how user-friendly it is for both technical and non-technical users — from data scientists who prefer coding to business users who rely on visual interfaces. This combination of flexibility, performance, and ease of collaboration is what really stands out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Viya?

While SAS Viya is a powerful analytics platform, there are a few areas that could be improved:

High learning curve: Some advanced features can feel complex for new users, especially those without prior SAS experience.

Cost and licensing model: Viya can be relatively expensive for organizations with limited budgets.

Resource consumption: The platform can be heavy on infrastructure resources, which requires strong hardware or cloud capacity.

User interface complexity: Although it has improved over time, some parts of the UI can still feel less intuitive compared to newer analytics tools.

Integration challenges: Integrating Viya with certain external systems or custom pipelines sometimes requires additional effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAS Viya solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAS Viya helps unify data processing, analytics, and machine learning in one platform. It solves the problem of having scattered tools by providing a single environment where teams can access data, run models, share results, and deploy analytics faster. This improves productivity, reduces manual work, and ensures consistent, reliable insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The best reporting tool to get the detailed analysis of a software (Analytics Tool)”
What do you like best about Jaspersoft?

One of the standout features of Jaspersoft is its robust and comprehensive framework for reporting. It supports a wide range of functionalities that are often difficult to achieve with other reporting tools. Users can extract data in multiple formats including graphs, PDF, Excel, and CSV, providing great flexibility for analysis and distribution.

Jaspersoft also offers powerful scheduling capabilities, allowing reports to be automatically generated and delivered via email or SFTP at specified times. The Domain feature adds an extra layer of convenience and security, enabling access to the database based on predefined roles and permissions.

The platform is user-friendly and straightforward to implement. Creating and deploying new reports is a seamless process, making it highly efficient for developers and analysts alike. In cases where support is needed, Jaspersoft provides access to dedicated support engineers who are readily available to help troubleshoot and resolve any issues.

In our case, Jaspersoft is integrated with our core Java application, allowing users to access reports directly after logging into the main system. This integration was simple and effective. Specifically, for the Symplr ShiftSelect product, Jaspersoft plays a crucial role. Hospital administrators rely on it daily to review audit data, and many essential reports are scheduled on an hourly basis for continuous monitoring.

Overall, Jaspersoft is a highly recommended tool for any software company looking to implement reliable and scalable reporting solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jaspersoft?

Currently, there are no major drawbacks to highlight. However, it would be beneficial if Jaspersoft offered more flexible or discounted licensing options, especially for organizations integrating it into their products. This could help reduce the overall cost impact and make the solution more accessible for a wider range of businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jaspersoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Jaspersoft has significantly simplified reporting across sectors. Traditionally, generating reports required building custom solutions from scratch, often with limited export options and time-consuming development cycles. Jaspersoft eliminates these challenges by enabling users to create complex reports quickly and efficiently. Its user-friendly interface and powerful features make report implementation much faster—like using a rapid development toolkit specifically for reporting. Integration is seamless, and the ease of use is a major advantage. “Solid BI Choice for AWS-First Teams”
What do you like best about Amazon QuickSight?

QuickSight’s integration with the AWS ecosystem is seamless. Connecting to S3, Redshift, or Athena happens in minutes without complex configuration or workarounds. The SPICE in-memory engine delivers fast query performance even with large datasets, which keeps dashboards responsive. I appreciate the natural language query feature (Amazon Q) that allows me to ask questions in plain English and get visual answers without writing SQL. It democratizes access to insights for non-technical stakeholders who need quick answers.

The platform’s embedded analytics capability is a standout feature. I can place dashboards directly into internal applications or customer portals without additional tools. This centralizes data consumption and eliminates the need to jump between platforms. QuickSight also offers built-in machine learning features like anomaly detection and forecasting, which provide advanced insights without requiring custom algorithms. When revenue spikes unexpectedly, the ML engine surfaces an explanation automatically.

The AutoGraph feature intelligently recommends chart types based on data field characteristics. This removes guesswork for team members who aren’t visualization experts and ensures consistency across reports. Security is robust with role-based access controls, single sign-on, and comprehensive auditing. QuickSight supports FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO, and SOC compliance, which covers most regulatory requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon QuickSight?

QuickSight lacks the visualization variety found in Power BI or Tableau. Gantt charts, candlestick charts, and comparative high-low charts are missing, which limits design flexibility for specific use cases.

The data model approach differs from traditional BI tools in a way that feels restrictive. Instead of building relationships between fact and dimension tables, I often need to create large denormalized datasets with repeated data. This makes data preparation more cumbersome and less efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon QuickSight solving and how is that benefiting you?

QuickSight centralizes reporting across departments by connecting directly to AWS data sources and presenting KPIs in unified dashboards. This reduces manual reporting work and gives stakeholders near real-time access to performance metrics. For teams tracking cloud application costs and operational performance, QuickSight provides visibility without building custom tooling.

The serverless architecture removes infrastructure management entirely. I don’t need to plan capacity, provision servers, or worry about scaling. QuickSight adjusts automatically to data volume and user load, which saves engineering time and reduces operational complexity. The pay-per-session pricing model makes analytics accessible to teams with varying usage patterns. Occasional viewers don’t incur ongoing subscription costs, which makes budgeting simpler.

QuickSight’s compliance certifications (HIPAA, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, ISO, SOC) solve governance challenges for regulated industries. Teams in healthcare, finance, and government can adopt the platform without additional security layers. Role-based access and comprehensive auditing ensure data protection while enabling broad access. This balance between accessibility and security is hard to achieve with on-premises tools. “Exceptional Support and Effortless Onboarding Experience”
What do you like best about CorralData?

The greatest strengths of CorralData are the outstanding team, the thoughtful support structure, and the ease of onboarding. Vera and Ellie were incredible throughout the onboarding process—patient, responsive, and fully committed to answering every question and concern to the best of their ability. They moved quickly on implementing fixes and always followed up so I felt supported the entire way. While getting integrated does take some work, the way CorralData supports you through it is truly exceptional. Being able to ask the team direct questions on a widget makes it incredibly simple for clients to get clear, timely answers, and that level of accessibility is hard to beat. What do you dislike about CorralData?

My single issue is that it was extremely difficult and time consuming validating and checking that the Data is accurate once you have made your widget. You can't see the source data to make sure that it is coming in correctly or the filters are matching up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
