Automated Testing Software

Typically, Automated Testing is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Automated Testing Software.

Automated testing software can refer to a few different components of application development and maintenance. Software testing products give teams the ability to evaluate software performance, usability, and functionality. Teammates can utilize the feedback to add additional functionality and make necessary changes. Test automation tools are a component of the development process that monitors application performance and assists users in tracking bugs. Continuous integration software will also provide similar software testing abilities but focuses on specific continuous delivery and build automation practices. These products allow administrators to constantly test new additions and changes to source code during the continuous delivery process.

“App Automate Supercharges Testing Speed and Visibility”
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

App Automate scales my PRs, not my stress. We shard our Appium suite across ~30 devices in parallel. A smoke pack that used to take ~55 minutes now lands in ~14–16 with a clear build status and per-session artifacts. Tunnels for real backends. The secure local tunnel lets test builds hit feature-branch APIs behind VPN, great for pre-merge validation without staging deploys. Geolocation/timezone + network profiles (3G/4G/offline) are handy for edge cases.

Solid session evidence. Every run gets one canonical URL with video, device info, console/network logs, and app/device logs—perfect for tickets and vendor escalations. Framework-friendly. App Automate plays nicely with Appium + GitHub Actions, tagging builds by branch/PR keeps history tidy and makes flaky test hunts less painful.

Console logs from embedded WebViews show JS errors alongside native logs; I don’t have to hop through multiple tools to prove where the bug lives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Peak-time queues on popular iPhones. Real devices can line up, cold starts aren’t simulator-fast. iOS signing quirks. Resigning IPAs for real devices occasionally trips on entitlements, fixable, but it eats time during setup. Tunnel fragility on long runs. Corporate proxies sometimes need custom flags, and very long sessions can drop if the network hiccups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Device coverage without a device lab. We went from ~8 to ~40 meaningful Android/iOS combos per release. “Works on my emulator” bugs dropped ~30% over two quarters. Faster, trustable CI signal. Parallel App Automate runs cut the PR feedback loop from ~1 hour to ~15 minutes, and every failure ships with video + logs, so triage is measured in minutes, not meetings. Reproducible edge cases. Last week we caught a deep-link crash on Android 14 only when the device language was Arabic and the network was throttled, App Live made that a two-minute repro instead of a day of guessing. Lower ops overhead. No buying/patching phones, no USB hubs, no lab maintenance. The team spends time on scenarios instead of infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy Feature Flagging with Usability Concerns”
What do you like best about LaunchDarkly?

I appreciate LaunchDarkly's ease of use and the additional features it offers. The UI is excellent and makes complex flag evaluation straightforward. The configurability of feature flagging is a significant improvement over the previous solutions we used, allowing much more control and flexibility. The ability to search for contexts by name is particularly useful, making the process of toggling feature flags for specific users, projects, or companies extremely easy directly from the browser. This capability has greatly enhanced our workflow, moving beyond a simple on/off solution to a more sophisticated and user-friendly interface. Overall, LaunchDarkly's feature flagging service is the most valuable aspect for us, and it's a primary reason for our continued use and affection for the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly?

I find the network calls erroring out while trying to stream data to be a problematic issue, even though it hasn't impacted functionality significantly. Additionally, I'm not satisfied with LaunchDarkly's observability feature—its lack of robustness and insight, coupled with the high cost, doesn't meet my expectations. The integration of Observability and Session Replay feels overly coupled, and I don't appreciate its interference with the console. Finally, the pricing model is complicated, especially the context counting method, which makes it difficult to forecast costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LaunchDarkly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use LaunchDarkly for feature flagging, making our process more configurable with a helpful UI and easing complex flag evaluations, improving workflow by easily searching contexts for toggling flags for specific users or projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Essential Tool for Streamlined API Testing and Team Collaboration”
What do you like best about Postman?

i like postman because it provides a complete and user-friendly api testing environment. with postman, i can easily create organized collections for different project, which helps keep all api requests structured and manageable. it also allows importing and exporting collections, making it simple to share work with team members. additionally, i can invite teammates directly to collaborates so everyone can contribute to the project in real time. as a backend developer, i use postman daily for testing and validating apis, and it significantly improves my workflow and productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Postman?

Sometimes postman becomes slow, especially when i have multiple collections loaded. it occasionally needs to be restarted because, after being idle for long time, certain requests don't execute properly and get stuck in a continuous loading state. the ui can also feel slightly complex for new users, and sharing collections with teammates can be a bit confusing for someone using it for the first time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Postman solving and how is that benefiting you?

postman solves the problem of efficiently testing and managing multiple apis. when i test an api once, i can save then request along with its payload. this make retesting much easier because i can reuse the same payload, modify it slightly if needed, and quickly send then request again. Postman also supports pre-request and post-request scripts, which is very useful. for example i can automatically save tokens to my environment and reuse them across multiple requests without manually copying and pasting each time. another major benefit is environment management. i can create separate environments like local, dev, staging or production and simply switch the environment from the dropdown. postman automatically picks the correct variables for then entire collections, which save a lot of time and prevents mistakes. since some apis developed by me and some by teammates, using the same shared collection helps everyone stay aligned. if i need to test an api created by someone else, i can easily find it, run it and reuse the saved request. postman also syncs between the desktop app and the web version. Creating the test cases, organizing them, and running it feels smooth and doesn’t gets complicated. The dashboards and reports are also helpful because they give a clear picture and vision of testing progress without needing extra or external tools. Overall it makes the testing process much easier to handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tuskr?

Tuskr works goot, but there are a few things that could get better. Some parts of the interface feel a bit complicated, and certain actions take more steps than they should. The search can be slow at times, especially when you’re with a large number of test cases. I also feel the integrations could be a little more flexible and easy. None of these are deal-breakers, but they are small areas where the tool could improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Revolutionizing Automation with Intelligent, Scalable AI Agents”
What do you like best about UiPath Agentic Automation?

What I find most remarkable about UiPath Agentic Automation is its ability to automate complex end-to-end processes, even those previously impossible due to their unpredictable nature. AI agents can analyze unstructured data, make autonomous decisions, and execute tasks without constant supervision, significantly expanding the scope beyond traditional RPA. This allows employees to focus on strategic activities while the agents process information at higher speeds and generate real-time insights. The platform is highly scalable, incorporates curative agents that automatically correct errors, and provides integrated governance with advanced security and access control measures. Furthermore, the agents self-monitor and continuously improve, making it easy to calculate an accurate ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UiPath Agentic Automation?

Based on my experience with UiPath Agentic Automation, the most notable drawback is the high cost of licenses, which makes it difficult to justify for smaller projects. I have also faced a steep learning curve, as effective use of the platform demands advanced technical expertise. Setting up complex scenarios or handling edge cases has proven to be especially challenging. Additionally, I have observed that the platform uses a significant amount of computing resources, often resulting in slow performance on standard computers. There are also some limitations when it comes to process compatibility and version control. The main challenges I have encountered include the complexity of development, the difficulty of integrating unstructured business data, and the shortage of highly skilled professionals required to operate the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UiPath Agentic Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

UiPath Agentic Automation is helping me solve critical problems in repetitive business processes that rely on legacy applications without modern APIs. The platform allows me to automate tasks that previously consumed hours of manual work interacting with legacy systems, SAP, old databases, and desktop applications that can't be easily replaced. This benefits me by eliminating human error caused by fatigue in data capture and transfer processes between disconnected systems, significantly reducing operating costs by freeing up staff for strategic activities, and accelerating response times in processes such as request management and customer onboarding. Integration with Computer Vision allows me to automate even legacy interfaces without available technical documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Effortless CI/CD for React Native—Seamless Integration and Time-Saving Automation”
What do you like best about Appcircle?

As a React Native developer, what I like most about Appcircle is how smoothly it handles the entire CI/CD flow for both iOS and Android without requiring complex manual setup. The integration with React Native projects is straightforward, and the environment variable management makes multi-environment builds incredibly easy. The iOS signing and provisioning automation is a huge time-saver compared to managing certificates manually. The build logs are clear, real-time, and very helpful when debugging native issues. The customizable pipeline steps, drag-and-drop workflow editor, and fast build machines significantly speed up our delivery process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appcircle?

There are only a few areas that could be improved. For more advanced React Native or monorepo setups, I would prefer more granular control over caching strategies, especially for node_modules, Pods, and Gradle caches. Sometimes the UI can feel slightly slow when switching between build history or pipeline views. Also, adding deeper analytics around build performance (average build time, cache hit rates, failed step metrics, etc.) would be helpful for optimizing pipelines. However, none of these are blockers for daily use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Appcircle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Appcircle solves several pain points that React Native teams face when managing both iOS and Android builds. It eliminates the complexity of dealing with native build environments, provisioning profiles, certificates, local machine inconsistencies, and custom scripts. Instead of maintaining separate CI setups for Android and iOS, everything runs in a unified cloud environment. Automatic signing, environment variable management, and pipeline steps significantly reduce manual errors and speed up our release process. This saves our team a lot of time, especially when preparing builds for QA, staging, and production. As a result, our delivery workflow is faster, more reliable, and requires much less maintenance. They are extremely communicative, and their test quality is very high. On more than one occasion, they have prevented us from shipping important regressions by reporting bugs to us early in our SDLC. When we've needed to request information or changes to our tests, they have always be prompt and easy to correspond with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

The only real downside I've experienced is that they are not part of our core team, therefore they do not get insights into the most common pain points our customers are experiencing. They are receptive to this information when we share it with them, but as a third party there is always one more hop in the communication chain. Qodex.ai brings automation and intelligence together in a clean, simple interface that doesn’t overwhelm you. I really like how quickly I can set up test flows and run them without heavy configuration. The AI-powered testing insights save a lot of manual effort, especially when identifying issues across APIs.

The platform feels modern, and features are added frequently based on customer feedback. It also integrates well with our existing CI/CD workflow, which made adoption easier. Their support team is responsive and genuinely cares about solving problems not just closing tickets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qodex.ai?

The only thing I would like to see improved is deeper documentation for some advanced features. A few integrations required help from support to understand fully. A richer library of tutorials and implementation examples would help new users adopt faster. Also, reporting dashboards could be more customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Qodex.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?

As you start adding more customisations, integrations, and workflows, the system can feel heavy and sometimes requires specialised expertise to manage. Licensing and add-on costs can also become high for growing teams. That said, these challenges are manageable with proper governance and do not outweigh the overall value the platform provides. What problems is Salesforce Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Salesforce Platform helps us centralize customer data, automate key business processes, and improve cross-team visibility.

It solves the challenge of scattered information by giving us a single, unified view of every customer interaction. Automated workflows and approvals have reduced manual effort, improved response times, and increased overall efficiency. With better reporting and real-time dashboards, decision-making has become faster and more data-driven. Overall, it has helped streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and support our growth with a scalable foundation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Original Information
“A truly impressive tool with nice UI”
What do you like best about BugBug?

Ease of use. Very simple to add to Chrome and you're good-to-go.

Free for local use (v cloud-run tests). IF you make suggestioms, 'real people' comment and feedback v some bland 'thank you for your input' type replies. All the benefits of a smaller, younger and more responsive company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BugBug?

I'd like to be able to check page <titles> and maybe other key non-display attributes. Have now learned that my grumble about wanting to run the same set of tests against the same system but in different environments, is covered by BugBug 'profiles', so looks like I simply need to learn more to get even more out of BugBug 🙂 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Great product!”
What do you like best about DeployHQ?

DeployHQ greatly facilitates the deployment of client sites, especially those based on flat file CMS like Grav. Its clear and well-designed interface offers all the necessary tools. The support team, very responsive, assisted me effectively during difficulties with GitLab integration. A service I highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DeployHQ?

The price is a bit high, but it's the price to pay for peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DeployHQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Manage the versions of my project with Git and automate deployments easily, without DevOps expertise, thanks to a git command. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
