"A few things to know about Visual Studio Code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

1. I have been using VS code from over a decade now and I truly love its feature set and never faced any complication whatsoever to develop different web and mobile app projects.

2. It offers different extensions and plugin to ease the overall workflow which saves time significantly and a very good example of it can be to import any Github repository directly into VS code along with other CI/CD pipelines that can be created through VS code, and its version control aspect. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

1. I sometimes doesn't work on my windows machine and that's the reason I had to purchase a MacOS where it run seamlessly I don't know why is that.

2. VS code can be resource intensive while running big project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual studio code - Smart source code editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

- I can work with git without having to do many configurations.

- It allows me to debug my code and find errors easier, thanks to its intuitive and easy-to-use interface.

- The syntax highlighting is unique and very convenient, as are its keyboard shortcuts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Every time it is updated it loses performance little by little, and it is also not good at automatically detecting the programming language. Another thing I don't like is that it doesn't allow me to open multiple folders in the same window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful text editor with support for many languages, customizable editor and useful extensions."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

There are many things which I like about Visual Studio Code.

1. The first one is being able to code in many languages all in one single text editor. I can have support for multiple languages along with the intellisense and other extensions support for the same.

2. The integrated terminal makes it easier to work on the code as well as run bash commands all within a single window. This largely improves the productivity as well.

3. Being able to customize the editor's looks to my suiting is also a very valuable feature.

4. Extensions for everything: I can download extensions for intellisense, for CI/CD, for code enhancements and tooltips, for theming, etc.

5. Integrations: I can integrate CI/CD pipelines, task management tools, cloud services along within a single text editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The fact that visual studio code is memory heavy is the only downside I found in Visual Studio code. On systems with low memory and hardware specifications, it is usually very difficult to make use of the Visual Studio Code to the full potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
