"User friendly, great coding environment, easy to use for everyone"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual code is really user friendly, very aesthetic, auto-detects language, minimal start-up/installation time, has plug-ins for everything. It doesnt take up to much energy when I use it, but it still works perfectly. Ive used sublime and atom and both pale in comparison to this. Doesnt freeze up very often and shows a decent file layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Its kind of difficult to open new windows simultaneously. so the new window tab could use some changing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Proof of the new Microsoft"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

IntelliSense is the best syntax highlighting and autocomplete I've ever experienced. The debugging tools for JavaScript—both for browser and in Node.js—are excellent. It's open source and gets great updates nearly every month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It needs selected line sorting like Sublime has. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Code editor on steroids"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Just another code editor? I don't think so. With features inherited from its big brother Visual Studio such as Intellisense and debugging options, it doesn't disappoints, and even poses a challenge to the likes of Sublime. It loads fast and has a variety of extensions to choose from, so you can personalize it to suit your specific needs and workflow. The integrated console is very good. The git integration is also a nice addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Seems optimized for the more popular languages, and the likes of python and other less used ones seem to lack in the features department like code introspection. Anyway, this can be taken care of with extensions. Also a little bit slow for a text editor. Configuration through json files is not the most user friendly option. Git features could be more comprehensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Stable IDE to develop code in"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is a very stable IDE which is really good in terms of the functionality that is offered just out of the box. In addition to that, there are plenty of add-ons/packages that are available which enhances the usability of the product. It is a well thought out tool which is free, and would highly recommend this IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Nothing in particular. I'm overall happy about using Visual Studio Code and would recommend the product to anyone interested in using the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
