"Best IDE out there"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Opening folders and quickly re-opening recent files as a default action is very easy. Adding multiple projects to a workspace and setting it to open by default is really good. It works very for running individual go tests. Doesn't crash as often as sublime text. The side bar is really good too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

With ruby the symbol creation table takes forever and going to a function definition does not work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Open Source IDE for modern developers"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It is open source, making it easy to extend and modify.

Very fast and lightweight, compared to other solutions.

The UI is intuitive and good looking.

Lots of plugins to add additional functionality.

Because it is built on HTML, CSS, JS it is very customizable without modifying the source code.

It has support for anything, any programming language, platform, framework, anything.

It has a great and very active community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It broke several times on me while updating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very fast and intuitive tool for programmers"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

A lot of updates, nice user interface and user experience. Built-in emmet and syntax colors. Other really cool element is build-in console, which is very helpfull for developers. For example you don't need to open PowerShell or CMD on other window, when you want to start Gulp or something else, everything is in one application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I like all elements of this application. I hope that team will still make that great job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A text editor made for developers and it’s so good."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I especially like this products flexibility and built in handy development features. I never knew I needed a terminal in my editor until using VS code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The only thing I’ve found so far that I’m not fond of is that it eludes me how to change a language and have the editor pick up and change syntax highlighting easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
