What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

In general I feel that the plugin architecture, configuration files, are simple to use. It operates really smoothly with some types of plugins that slow down some of the other popular IDEs, it has a big ecosystem of plugin developers and users, and it has a great default setup of features out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Coming from VIM, I miss some of my VIM configuration, although I use a VIM plugin to be able to use some of the basic VIM movements keys and bindings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code Usage review "
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio code is one of the best IDEs that I have used so far.

It is powerful due to integration with different things.

Its one place to do everything - write code, build, deploy.

Its great that we can also create app-packages using Visual studio.

Integration with other devices and VMs is super cool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The documentation on version upgrades is so poor that its really hard to what changed between versions and how to correct the same.

Visual studio can be very unreliable at times.

The support is really poor.

When working with different devices and VMs, the connection can get really bad and lost.

Visual studio can enter into states that requires restart often Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
