**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

I like how fast and easy TalentHR is to roll out while still covering the HR essentials well.
Features like leave tracking keep everyday requests organized, surveys make it simple to
gather employee feedback, and the mobile app adds convenience for employees who
need to handle things on the go. It is rare that a mobile app works as well as the desktop
experience.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

Currently, its hiring feature can feel less robust than dedicated ATS tools. Teams seeking
more advanced capabilities, as they handle dozens of job openings simultaneously, may
eventually encounter limitations.

**What problems is TalentHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TalentHR solves the problem of scattered HR admin for good. Our employee records,
time-off requests, documents, and feedback were previously scattered across
spreadsheets, email threads, and multiple tools; however, they are now consolidated in
one place. Additionally, our employees really appreciated that the tool did not require
any training before rollout.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

I like the integrated toolset in TalentHR because it provides all the necessary tools required by company management at one place, so we don't have to hop from one service to another, which saves us time. I also appreciate the intuitive UI, as it helps reduce the learning curve for newcomers. Additionally, TalentHR's pricing is better than what we had with BambooHR, and I found the initial setup to be relatively simple.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

The TalentHR Android app is very buggy at times. For example, when I go to a particular section from the navigation menu, the menu becomes inaccessible until the back button is pressed. There are similar more issues, that would increase the user experience when fixed.

**What problems is TalentHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TalentHR provides all the necessary tools in one place, so we don’t need to switch between different services. This centralized approach streamlines our daily workflows, reduces context switching, and helps the team stay focused on what matters most. It saves us valuable time, minimizes errors that can happen when moving between platforms, and improves overall productivity.  The intuitive UI keeps the learning curve low for newcomers, allowing them to get up to speed quickly without extensive training. Features are easy to find, processes are clearly structured, and common tasks can be completed in just a few clicks.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

The best thing is how clean and simple it is. It doesn’t feel overwhelming, so it’s easy to get people to use it (myself included). We use it for the basics (employee info + all core HR tasks) and for managing time off, hiring, 1:1 performance reviews, and surveys. With TalentHR we’re not juggling a bunch of separate tools, we even got rid of the whistleblowing tool we used before deploying TalentHR. The AI assistant is a pretty cool new feature; I can quickly pull a snapshot of how to build something in the platform without having to go through support when I have a quick question.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

It currently covers all my needs, but I’d say that the performance feature feels a bit “light” if I need something more advanced in the future. We are currently restructuring our performance management internally, so I will need to re-evaluate that part of the platform based on what we ultimately implement. Also, reporting is useful for quick insights, but I sometimes wish I could slice the data in more detailed ways or customize dashboards more. And in ATS, it would be great to have integrations with job boards.

**What problems is TalentHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TalentHR solves the unorganized, HR chaos for us. Having employee info, time off, recruiting, engagement, and reporting spread across spreadsheets and tools that do just one thing. Having everything in one place now means we’re not constantly duplicating work or worrying that one mistake in an Excel formula will mess up all time off balances.
The engagement piece helps us collect feedback more frequently than before, even for small team surveys, and the whistleblowing feature is a big plus because it is transparent and confidential.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

I use TalentHR to manage my own and employee leave, and it helps me to formalize the leave process, keeping track of how much leave my team has left. I like that it is quick, easy, and user-friendly, which makes it efficient for my needs. The integration with Slack is especially useful for me as it allows me to quickly and easily approve leave without needing to sign into a different platform, saving me a lot of time. Setting up TalentHR was also very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

I think the leave categories can be a bit confusing and unclear which leave is sick and which is annual leave and this makes it confusing to keep track of how much leave I have. For example, I have both a 'Leave Booking' and an 'Annual Leave' category. This makes it impossible for me to know which of these to use, it is not clear.

**What problems is TalentHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TalentHR helps me formalize the leave process and track team leave balances. It's quick, easy, user-friendly, and integrates with Slack, saving me time in approving leave without switching platforms.

Regarding the leave categories: TalentHR’s default time off types are Vacation, Sick Leave, and Bereavement, but they’re fully customizable. You can rename existing types (for example, adjust “Vacation” to “Annual Leave”), deactivate the ones you don’t need, or create new ones that better match your internal terminology.

You can also update each leave type’s annual allowance at any time, either manually or automatically through leave policies.

It sounds like your current setup may include overlapping custom types. A quick review of your Time Off settings should help simplify things and eliminate any confusion. If you’d like help optimizing that setup, our support team would be happy to assist.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

TalentHR has proven to be a refreshingly straightforward HR platform. Although it’s primarily designed for startups and small to medium-sized businesses, it manages to cover all the essential features without ever feeling overwhelming or complicated. The interface is clean, and having everything from employee records to time-off requests centralized in one place saves a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth and puts an end to the usual spreadsheet chaos. What stands out to me most is the hiring and onboarding process. Creating job posts, tracking candidates, and onboarding new hires with automated task lists has made everything much smoother for our team. The performance review and feedback tools are simple yet effective; they aren’t flashy, but they do exactly what’s needed. The analytics dashboard provides a clear overview of headcount, turnover, and assignments, which is really helpful for decision-making. I also appreciate knowing that the platform prioritizes data security, especially since all our information is stored in the cloud.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

However, there are a few aspects I didn’t enjoy. Certain features seem restricted, particularly regarding customization options.

**What problems is TalentHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user of TalentHR, the main issue it addresses for me is consolidating all HR-related information in a single platform. Previously, I had to manage several spreadsheets and documents just to keep track of employee details, onboarding activities, and time-off requests. This approach was disorganized, took up a lot of time, and left plenty of room for errors. With TalentHR, everything is now much more streamlined and automated. The onboarding process has become significantly smoother, as tasks are clearly outlined and simple to complete. Managing time-off is also much easier employees can submit their requests directly through the system, and it automatically updates their balances, which has greatly reduced my manual workload.

I like that TalentHR is intuitive to set up and can be used without programming knowledge. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

Many fields are not correctly translated into German. The vacation planning tool is not usable; all employees always have their vacation credited on their hiring day, which cannot be set for the entire company. Additionally, you cannot take negative days and the approval process for vacations/tasks is too simple; sometimes multiple people need to approve or be informed. The email template customization could be more individual, especially the invitation email cannot be customized.

**What problems is TalentHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TalentHR for digital employee records, recruiting, and onboarding.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

I find TalentHR incredibly valuable for several reasons. The AI assist feature is truly amazing as it allows our employees to access company information effortlessly without needing to reach out directly to other team members. This feature, along with the AI recruitment tool, streamlines hiring by checking the suitability of applicants and facilitating easy creation of company job pages. I particularly appreciate the ease of structuring and centralizing all documentation in one place, making it our first HRMS experience a positive one. The recruitment tool not only saves us a tremendous amount of time by effectively screening candidates and generating useful notifications but also by ensuring the suitability of each candidate. Additionally, the integration with Talent LMS makes TalentHR even more effective, and I love how easy it was to set up, thanks to its user-friendly interface and simple configuration process, including adding employees and customizing fields. Overall, TalentHR has significantly enhanced our HR administration and efficiency.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

I wish TalentHR included a payroll processing feature. This is currently the only feature I feel is missing. If it were added, it would significantly enhance the utility of TalentHR for my team.

I use TalentHR to manage employee performance and streamline administrative tasks. Its AI recruitment tools enhance candidate screening and suitability checks, saving us time and resources. The AI assist feature provides employees with easy access to company info, increasing efficiency.

On payroll: totally hear you. While we do support compensation and benefits record keeping within each employee profile, we don’t currently offer direct payroll processing in TalentHR. That said, integrations with major payroll systems are on our roadmap, so you’ll be able to connect your payroll provider more seamlessly over time.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

I love TalentHR for its simplicity and powerful capabilities. The user interface is clean and user-friendly, allowing everyone to navigate it effortlessly. The processes for leave and attendance management are seamless, with automatic updates and alerts which greatly optimize our workflow. TalentHR's document storage and access to employee records are exceptionally organized, ensuring that we can retrieve information quickly whenever needed. I find the performance evaluation workflows to be very effective, helping managers to complete reviews punctually. This platform has significantly reduced our manual workload and improved the accuracy of our HR processes. The transition to TalentHR from spreadsheets and emails has made our HR operations much more organized and rapid. I also appreciate how smoothly the setup process went, guiding us through adding employees, configuring leave rules, and organizing documents without the need for additional training or technical support. Overall, TalentHR has enhanced our HR operations while increasing employee satisfaction.

There are limited integration options available, especially with local payroll systems. For large reports or more advanced analytics, additional dashboard options would be very helpful. Customization choices in performance review cycles are currently a bit restricted.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

What I like best about TalentHR is how clean and intuitive the platform feels. The dashboard is extremely well-organized, so it’s easy to find exactly what I need whether it’s employee information, time-off requests, or performance data. I also really appreciate how quick the setup was; I didn’t need any complicated onboarding or tutorials because the interface is simple and user-friendly.

The automation features save a lot of time, especially for repetitive HR tasks, and the built-in reports give a clear snapshot of team activity. Overall, TalentHR removes a lot of the manual work and lets me focus more on people, not paperwork.

**What do you dislike about TalentHR?**

One thing I dislike about TalentHR is that some of the more advanced features could be a bit more customizable. For example, there are areas where I’d like to tweak fields, workflows, or notifications more deeply to match our internal processes, but the options feel a bit limited at times.

Also, there’s a slight learning curve when exploring the advanced settings, and a bit more in-app guidance or tooltips would make it even smoother for new users. It’s not a deal-breaker, but there’s definitely room for improvement as the platform grows.

**What problems is TalentHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TalentHR has helped streamline a lot of the manual HR work that used to take up unnecessary time. Managing employee data, tracking leave, and keeping attendance records used to involve multiple tools, spreadsheets, and constant follow-ups. With TalentHR, everything is centralized, which makes the entire process far more organized.

The platform also reduces errors in time-off tracking and attendance, which improves accuracy and saves time during payroll reviews. Having clean HR analytics in one place helps me understand team trends quickly, instead of pulling reports from different systems. Overall, it removes repetitive admin tasks, creates better visibility, and lets me focus more on actual team support rather than paperwork.

Today, TalentHR already supports custom fields for employee personal data, and you can control who sees and edits each field via role-based permissions—with roles themselves being fully customizable so you can match your internal structure as closely as possible. We’re also actively working on adding more custom fields across additional sections of the employee profile, so you can model more of your unique processes directly in the platform.

Looking ahead, we have two big areas on our roadmap that directly address what you’ve raised:

Workflow automation (coming in 2026): you’ll be able to create custom workflows to automate more of your HR tasks end-to-end, beyond what’s possible today.

Customizable communications (also coming in 2026): more control over the content, triggers, and targeting of notifications and messages, so they align tightly with your internal processes and tone of voice.

On the learning curve for advanced settings, we want to make sure you never feel stuck. Every page in TalentHR includes how-to guides and contextual tooltips, while admins and HR managers can use the AI-powered HR assistant to ask any question about how something works in the platform or even troubleshoot configuration issues in real time. On our website, you can also find video webinars helping you understand the capabilities of each individual feature available on TalentHR. We’re continuously expanding these resources so that configuring more advanced options feels as straightforward as the basics.

TalentHR is incredibly easy to use. The interface is clean, onboarding new employees takes minutes, and managing day-to-day HR tasks feels effortless. I also appreciate how responsive their support team is. Anytime we had a question, they’ve gotten back quickly with clear guidance.

There aren’t many deal-breakers, but I’d love to see a bit more customization in the reporting and analytics. A few areas still feel slightly basic, and having more flexibility in how data is displayed would make it even better.

**What do you like best about TalentHR?**

I appreciate how TalentHR has transformed our employee information management from the cumbersome Excel-based system to a more streamlined and efficient platform. And with our November 2025 release, admins can now define precisely who can view and who can edit each custom field, whether that’s based on default TalentHR roles or any custom roles you’ve created.

Survey forms are also fully customizable; you can build any survey from scratch or with AI assistance. We do agree, however, that performance review forms need more flexibility, and we’re already working on improvements planned for the coming months.
