Today, TalentHR already supports custom fields for employee personal data, and you can control who sees and edits each field via role-based permissions—with roles themselves being fully customizable so you can match your internal structure as closely as possible. We’re also actively working on adding more custom fields across additional sections of the employee profile, so you can model more of your unique processes directly in the platform.
Looking ahead, we have two big areas on our roadmap that directly address what you’ve raised:
Workflow automation (coming in 2026): you’ll be able to create custom workflows to automate more of your HR tasks end-to-end, beyond what’s possible today.
Customizable communications (also coming in 2026): more control over the content, triggers, and targeting of notifications and messages, so they align tightly with your internal processes and tone of voice.
On the learning curve for advanced settings, we want to make sure you never feel stuck. Every page in TalentHR includes how-to guides and contextual tooltips, while admins and HR managers can use the AI-powered HR assistant to ask any question about how something works in the platform or even troubleshoot configuration issues in real time. On our website, you can also find video webinars helping you understand the capabilities of each individual feature available on TalentHR. We’re continuously expanding these resources so that configuring more advanced options feels as straightforward as the basics.
