# Which punch list platforms are most reliable based on reviews from project managers?

&lt;p&gt;Offline use is a strong reliability test, but I’d extend it to conflict handling after reconnection. Two people may update the same item while one device is offline. If syncing silently overwrites an assignment, photo, or status change, the app technically stayed available but the project record stopped being trustworthy.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For me, reliability would mean the team keeps the system current enough that I can trust what I’m seeing without chasing updates elsewhere. Uptime matters, but a tool isn’t really reliable if the field stops using it consistently.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Still curious whether anyone&#39;s seen the shadow lists actually go, so here&#39;s what I&#39;d expect it to take. People keep a private copy when the shared one is slower to check than their own notes, which on site usually means offline behaviour. If the app shows the current list in a basement with no signal and syncs later without complaint, the private copy loses its reason to exist. If it doesn&#39;t, no amount of policy removes it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There&#39;s a simple field test for reliability in the broader sense this post means: check whether anyone on the team still keeps a private copy. Every shadow copy is a vote of no confidence, and it shows up long before anything in a review. Uptime is table stakes. A tool is actually reliable when people trust it enough to let it be the only place the truth lives. Does anyone here run a team where the shadow lists fully disappeared?&lt;/p&gt;
