&lt;p&gt;There&#39;s a simple field test for reliability in the broader sense this post means: check whether anyone on the team still keeps a private copy. Every shadow copy is a vote of no confidence, and it shows up long before anything in a review. Uptime is table stakes. A tool is actually reliable when people trust it enough to let it be the only place the truth lives. Does anyone here run a team where the shadow lists fully disappeared?&lt;/p&gt;
