What do you like best about ReturnZap?

We’re a small e-commerce brand, and like a lot of store owners, we wear a lot of hats. Returns used to be one of those things that took way too much time and created way too many headaches until we started using ReturnZap.

Setting it up was honestly painless. It plugged right into Shopify without any fuss, and within a few minutes, we had a branded portal up and running. No support tickets, no complicated steps—just simple, clean setup.

We really LOVE how flexible and well integrated the exchange system is. Customers can swap out products for completely different ones, not just a new size or color. They can also exchange for more expensive items and pay the additional amount due using Shopify's checkout system as part of the return process. And it looks like they just launched an upsell feature this week that we are excited to check out!

If you’re on the fence, I’d say this—ReturnZap feels like it was built by people who really understand how e-commerce works. It’s not flashy or overhyped; it’s just a reliable, well-designed tool that takes a frustrating aspect of eCommerce and makes it more painless. What do you dislike about ReturnZap?

It did take us a bit of experimenting to dial in the right rules and options for integrating returns and exchanges with our Shopify store. But honestly, once we got it configured the way we wanted, we realized how thoughtful the design and integration options are -- I guess every store has different workflows and needs and they've designed their system in a way to address those. What do you like best about ReturnZap?

We've been using ReturnZap for over a year and it's been a really helpful tool. We first tried Loop but they weren't able to make adjustments for our use case, and I'm so glad we found ReturnZap, which is much more affordable and has given us just the right functionality. The integration with Shopify is seamless and straightforward, and the Easypost connection is the same. The rules you can set up are intuitive and cover everything we need. Our warehouse team uses the warehouse tool to communicate what has been returned to us, and all in all this has made our returns run really smoothly. What do you dislike about ReturnZap?

What do you like best about ReturnZap?

This is a great app! One of the very few that offer a service without a per return cost. The app is well-developed, and has tons of options for every part of returns, from shipping labels, to settings for different products, to processing returns vs exchanges vs store credits. In addition, it has tons of huge time saving features. One click store credit is wonderful. Custom rules that control the return flow make life easy and allow us to streamline and automate a lot of the manual work that we used to have. What do you like best about ReturnZap?

David has been an incredible support for our boutique, and the customer service provided by Return Zap is always ready to assist with any of our needs or questions. They consistently go above and beyond to help us achieve our goals. They even adjusted the configuration of a few text elements to better accommodate our boutique and helped us set up the application for certain functions, such as the return labels, to ensure everything was properly set up.

The application itself is always evolving, which is fantastic! It offers many features, and some new ones are really enhancing the platform, like the ability to exchange items across the entire catalogue and the more specific return questions that provide better data. It’s user-friendly and easy to learn, making it a huge time-saver for us. My team adapted to the platform’s features (email notifications, resolving returns, setting up the return page, etc.) incredibly quickly, thanks to how intuitive it is.

It was really important for us that the return process was simple and fast because, as a retail business, we have a high volume of returns each month. The system’s efficiency and ease of use have been a game changer for us.

I highly recommend Return Zap for any business seeking a seamless and efficient return management system, and of course, for the exceptional customer service that is always there to help and to take our ideas into consideration for potential new features. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ReturnZap?

It would be a game-changer if ReturnZap could integrate the application with the POS system. Additionally, having a rule that prevents customers from returning POS orders through the application would be incredibly helpful. This is something we are currently looking into, as we have both our online store and four boutiques located in the same building or nearby. Customers sometimes try to bypass the system by returning their boutique orders through the application and then bringing them back to the store, but our team is trained to always verify and ensure everything is in order :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ReturnZap?

The responsiveness of support is amazing and the simplicity but at the same time depth of the app's functionality and features is more or less exactly what we needed and had been looking for for a long time (without the huge price tag that a lot of other apps have). It was very easy to integrate with our Shopify store, and it has significantly improved the efficiency of how we handle returns. It's definitely improved the customer experience and the data that we get from it has also helped us improve things on our product end to minimise returns overall. What do you dislike about ReturnZap?

Not a dislike, but just a something we'd like to have in the future if possible. At the moment we ask customers to ship the return on their own, as the 'pay for a shipping label' option only works for US customers at the moment since we're only able to use the USPS option on EasyPost. We would love to have a way of charging a handling fee before sending our warehouse's prepaid labels (so like a 'Pay for a Label' function, but instead of it being an instant purchase it would send us a request for a label, then we would be able to send them a link to pay for it before the PDF is released to them). It's a bit of a complicated ask and we wouldn't expect this from anything other than an additional paid add-on to the app, hence why this is not a dislike but just an expression of something we'd love to have but we know is very difficult. The support is top-notch. Any time we need a customization, or have a question, we get an immediate response from support. In my experience their support is unparalleled to other returns software we have used, and I would also rate them as top of the list for support for any software we use. -When I was looking for a return app, I literally downloaded at least 15 apps and only Return Zap had the features I needed, which is allowing returns to multiple warehouses

-For any business that needs this flexibility, Return Zap beats all other apps

-Overall the app flexibility and breadth of options is my number 1 pro

We've used a few returns platforms and ReturnZap is the best so far, especially for a small to medium sized business. The portal is easily embedded onto your site so it matches your branding. The functionality is great – it's user friendly for customers and merchants, it processes return requests, handles refunds, and even integrates with EasyPost to generate return labels.
